Something else for Gordon Brown to worry about

Prague Tory has a nice article from 23 July this year regarding how the Canadian Prime Minister called an election with a lead of 5% to 10% and yet lost heavily "but the key feature of the Conservative campaign was their "policy a day" initiative that won round the public and the media."
