Ah the memories

Tina Turner - "Ball of Confusion" from the fantastic 1982 B.E.F. 'Music of Quality and Distinction' album.

Thanks to Gary Crowley on Radio London for playing that yesterday.

Here's another of may favourites from that album

'Wichita Lineman' by by British Electric Foundation's Glenn Gregory
I love this version so much. In fact I prefer it to the 1968 original by Glen Campbell

Ball of Confusion is a great song -though I prefer The Temptations' version and of course The Undisputed Truth's.

Norman Whitfield produced some great stuff, and that's The Undisputed Truth...
Black music used to be great in the days before rap. Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Isaac Hayes etc.

I am with you re Stevie Wonder and Isaac Hayes; great music that I try and get Mrs NotaSheep to listen to and appreciate.
