12 Examples of Hamas Firing Rockets from Civilian Areas

12 Examples of Hamas Firing Rockets from Civilian Areas

Yet still the anti Israel brigade will deny that Hamas are doing any such thing and the BBC and Channel 4 will let them get away with telling these lies. I wonder how people like Lyse Doucet and Jon Snow live with themselves.

UN official admits that Hamas are using UN buildings as shields

That's John Ging of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations confirming that Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza fire their rockets into Israel from near UN buildings, using them as shelter.

Let's see if the BBC or Channel 4 report this admission.... Of course I know they won't, it's not as though they are unbiased news reporting organisations.

Who's John Ging?

John Ging (born 1965) is an Irish national and former officer in the Irish Army who served as head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip from 2006 to 2011. As head of the United Nations’ 10,000 employee operation there, he became a sought-after commentator by the media and an information source for foreign governments during Israel’s 2008-2009 offensive in Gaza.
Here’s part of his current UN bio:
John Ging, an Irish national, was appointed by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon as Director of the Operational Division at OCHA in February 2011. He oversees the day-to-day management of all OCHA field operations worldwide and on behalf of the Emergency Relief Coordinator, and is her day-to-day focal point for supporting Humanitarian Coordinators. Mr. Ging is also the lead adviser to the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs on operational decision-making.

This is what happened in Iraq, Tikrit in fact, where Sunni Muslim Jihadists killed Shia Muslims

I watched that video and it struck me that it was very similar to the grainy film footage of Nazi soldiers killing Jews during World War 2. The names may change but evil stays evil.

In a sane world this video would be all over the Western media but with an institutionally anti Israel BBC and an even worse Channel 4, nothing anti Islamist will be shown when Israel is there to be vilified.

Hamas Sermon from the Gaza Strip - the war with Israel is quite simply about Jew hatred

Despite what supporters of Hamas in the West tell you, Hamas want to destroy Israel and kill all Jews. It's about religion, Jew hatred to be exact.

Moeen Ali supported over pro Gaza wristbands according to BBC Sport

The institutionally anti Israel BBC of course support England cricketer Moeen Ali. As do the English cricket board. However according to Rule 19F of the ICC Clothing and Equipment Rules and Regulations, players should not convey messages with their clothing unless approved in advance by the player's official board, but approval would not be granted for political messages.

Simple question:
Did Moeen Ali get advance approval from the England and Wales cricket board? If he didn't then he's in breach of the Rule. This is regardless of whether the message is considered political.

The BBC report:
'England have defended Moeen Ali for wearing wristbands showing support for Gaza during the third Test with India. The Worcestershire batsman, 27, wore bands saying "Free Palestine" and "Save Gaza" on the second day in Southampton.

International Cricket Council regulations state players should not wear messages relating to "political, religious or racial activities".

The ICC is investigating but the England and Wales Cricket Board said: "Moeen has done nothing wrong."According to Rule 19F of the ICC Clothing and Equipment Rules and Regulations, players should not convey messages with their clothing unless approved in advance by the player's official board, but approval would not be granted for political messages.

An ICC spokesman confirmed: "We're investigating and will report in due course."'

If Moeen Ali gets away with this then expect more such anti Israel protests. Personally I think a severe telling off and final warning should be given to Moeen Ali. If he doesn't comply with the rules then drop him, he's a below average international spinner anyway.

Hamas threatening journalists in Gaza who expose abuse of civilians not that you'd know if you rely upon the BBC or Channel 4 for your news

'(Hamas) has emphatically limited reporters' access to aspects of Hamas operations that would reflect to its detriment. One example of this relates to Gaza's Shifa hospital, the official added. "We know that downstairs there is a Hamas command and control center and that Hamas leaders are hiding there. No reporter is allowed to go anywhere downstairs. They're only allowed to work upstairs to take pictures of casualties, the pictures that Hamas wants them to take."

Shifa has indeed "become a de facto headquarters for Hamas leaders, who can be seen in the hallways and offices," the Washington Post reported on July 15. The Wall Street Journal's Middle East correspondent, Nick Casey, wrote on Twitter that Hamas uses Shifa "as a safe place to see media," but removed the post afterwards.

Last week, a correspondent for the local Ouest France daily newspaper told Libération, another French daily, about how he was interrogated and intimidated by Hamas officials in what appeared to be their office in Shifa.

"A few meters from the emergency room, where the injured from the bombings kept on coming in, in the outpatient ward, [the reporter] was received in 'a small section of the hospital used as an office' by a group of young combatants,'" the article read. "Surprisingly, they were all well-dressed, 'in civilian clothing, with a gun under the shirt, and some had walkie-talkies.'" He was ordered to empty his pockets, to remove his shoes and belt, then was taken to a hospital room that appeared to serve the men as their command office, the reporter recalled'

More here http://www.timesofisrael.com/hamas-threatening-journalists-in-gaza-who-expose-abuse-of-civilians/ but not a word on the institutionally anti Israel BBC or Channel 4.

How 'journalists' like Jeremy Al Bowen, Lyse Doucet and Jon Snow can look themselves in the mirror is beyond me.

The BBC just really hate Sarah Palin, it's almost unbelievable how much they hate her.

A couple of minutes near the end of tonight's 6pm BBC Radio 4 news  were devoted to making fun of Sarah Palin's America radio station. A couple of mispronunciations were played so everyone knows how stupid she is. And there was a dig at her earnings from being a Vice Presidential candidate.

Oddly the BBC have never had a similar piece on the many verbal mistakes made by Vice President Joe Biden. Nor have the BBC examined the massive amounts of money earned by Bill Clinton since he left office or by failed Presidential candidate Al Gore.

The BBC's hatred of Sarah Palin is almost unbelievable, it's visceral. What is the problem that the BBC have with right of centre women?

To the Students for Justice in Palestine from an angry black woman

'If you seek to promulgate the legacy of early Islamic colonialists who raped and pillaged the Middle East, subjugated the indigenous peoples living in the region, and foisted upon them a life of persecution and degradation—you do not get to claim the title of "Freedom Fighter."

If you support a racist doctrine of Arab supremacism and wish (as a corollary of that doctrine) to destroy the Jewish state, you do not get to claim that the prejudices you peddle are forms of "legitimate resistance"

"Peace in the Middle East"

Peace in the Middle East: Pat Condell from 2012.

Hillel Neuer schools PLO's Diana Buttu & a HRW representative

What's fascinating is that the Al Jazeera anchorman is less sneering and openly anti-Israel than most BBC 'journalists' I see performing a similar role.

HRW's definition of "human shields" changes when Israel is involved

Human Rights Watch seem to have a very fluid definition of 'human shields' depending on Israel's involvement...
'HRW, instead of condemning what are clearly cases of human shielding under international law and under their own definitions, is going out of its way to excuse Hamas, downplay their war crimes - and endanger Gazans. In this case we see that twice HRW changed their definition deliberately to excuse first Hezbollah and then Hamas - moving the goalposts as each terror group gets more depraved.
What kind of a "human rights" group tries so hard to excuse violations of human rights?
(NGO Monitor has documented many other examples of HRW's fluid definitions of "human shielding" to defend terrorists from the charge when Israel is involved.)'
More here http://elderofziyon.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/hrws-definition-of-human-shields.html but not a mention on the institutionally anti Israel BBC.

Because Israel is different

'... the massive population displacements in Europe at the end of the Second World War are forever, but those in Palestine a mere three years later must be corrected and reversed. On the Continent, losing wars comes with a territorial price: The Germans aren't going to be back in Danzig any time soon. But, in the Middle East, no matter how often the Arabs attack Israel and lose, their claims to their lost territory manage to be both inviolable but endlessly transferable.'
Mark Steyn making perfect sense in a piece that should be compulsory reading for the anti Israel brigade including the BBC.

Hamas Al Qassam offices are next to the emergency room at Shifa Hospital

'... the Palestinian journalist was summoned by the security services of Hamas on Sunday. "I received a call from a private number. They summoned me to Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza City center, " explains Radjaa. He carried with him his two phones, his press card and a small camera.

A few meters from the emergency room where the injured from bombings are constantly flowing, in the outpatient department, he was received in "a small section of the hospital used as administration" by a band of young fighters. They were all well dressed, which surprised Radjaa, "in civilian clothing with a gun under one's shirt and some had walkie-talkies " . He was ordered to empty his pockets, removing his shoes and his belt then was taken to a hospital room "which served that day as the command office of three people." '

So there we have a Palestinian journalist describing how Hamas are basing themselves just a few metres from the emergency room at Al-Shifa hospital.

Have you heard or read anything about this state of affairs on the BBC? Of course not. The BBC is institutionally anti Israel and the rise in anti Semitism in the UK is in large part their fault. When a British Jew is injured or worse, it would be in order for the BBC to be prosecuted for incitement.

If you read nothing else today read this article by Kay Wilson

Here's a brief extract, but do read it all
'Without exception, the Palestinian leadership has sabotaged every single offer that a mediator has brought to the table. But even now—and most bizarrely of all—the world lays the blame inequitably on Israel.'

Quietly, some foreign journalists acknowledge Hamas is using human shields

Here's one:
'Hamas criticizes that "Israel massacres civilians". On the other hand, it tries to use evacuating civilians and journalists by stopping them and turning them into "human shields", counteracting thoroughly with its guerrilla tactics…'

But obviously not on the institutionally anti Israel BBC where their 'journalists' show their lack of impartiality on this matter almost every day. Such as Jeremy Al Bowen and Lyse Doucet will never report the truth about Hamas.

Hamas tell civilians and UNRWA not to cooperate with Israeli warnings. Statement of refugees around the circle leaving some residents their homes by threats of the occupation north of Beit Lahia - Department of Refugee Affairs

I look forward to the BBC reporting this but know full well that they won't because they are institutionally anti Israel

'1 - We call on our people in the border areas of stability and not to leave their areas, because that is part of the psychological warfare practiced by the enemy. And must not be the success of the aggressive policies of occupation, as happened in the catastrophe of 1948. The panic and escape from the pot will not work as Allah says: "Say: If you were in the homes of those who wrote them emerged to murder their beds and plagues of God, what is in your hearts and examines what in your hearts and God knows the breasts" (Al-Imran 154)
2 - We call on UNRWA to not open shelters or open schools as evacuation centers without coordination with the People's Committees of the refugees and the Interior Ministry and the concerned authorities. UNRWA and hold full responsibility for the safety of displaced persons sheltering them, and we still recall the massacre Fakhurah in the War of 2009, where UNRWA Mahtmin did not protect her school did not bear the occupation results of his crime. It also did not protect the UNRWA headquarters, where Israel bombed repeatedly.'

Palestinian Envoy to UNHRC: Israelis Warn Civilians, Hamas don't

Palestinian Envoy to UNHRC: "Israelis Warn Civilians Before Attacks, We Don't"

Something you won't find reported on the anti Israel BBC

Nations To Codify Special Laws Of War For Israel

'... new regulation proposed by Britain will have attached to every IDF ground battalion at least four anti-Israel journalists, with a stipulation that two of those four be provided by the British Broadcasting Corporation. "The BBC remains one of the world's leading sources of news and analysis, but the organization does not have enough constant assignments for all the anti-Israel journalists on its payroll," said British envoy Sir Huffington Post. "This provision will go a long way to solving both problems. It's a win-win situation."'
I think it's satire but not certain...

Fatalities in Gaza, what the BBC is not telling you

Dorron Katzin · @dakatzin

20th Jul 2014 from TwitLonger
To @bbclysedoucet @YolandeKnell @BBCPaulAdams @bbcworldservice @bbcworld cc @BBCWatch

http://bbcwatch.org/2014/07/20/about-those-gaza-health-ministry-casualty-figures-cited-by-the-bbc/

About those Gaza Health Ministry casualty figures cited by the BBC…

Despite the plethora of BBC reporters currently on the ground in the Gaza Strip, BBC audiences have not been informed that at least four summary executions (http://www.alquds.com/news/article/view/id/514752) of ‘collaborators’ by Hamas have apparently taken place since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge and at least thirteen other people have been arrested.

Likewise, BBC audiences have not been informed of reports of Hamas militiamen attacking and injuring Fatah supporters (https://twitter.com/KhaledAbuToameh/status/490472676817780736) .

Seeing as almost every item of BBC content cites casualty figures provided directly or indirectly by the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in Gaza, perhaps next time Yolande Knell, Lyse Doucet or Paul Adams gives them a call to ask for updates, they could ask whether or not those statistics include people killed and injured by the terror organization whose figures they unquestioningly quote and promote.

And whilst they’re at it, they could also enquire with regard to the results of two separate analyses of casualties in the Gaza Strip (http://www.camera.org/index.asp?x_context=2&x_outlet=118&x_article=2762 and http://www.israellycool.com/2014/07/20/analysis-of-gazans-killed-so-far-in-operation-protective-edge/) which both show that a disproportionate number of the casualties to date are males of combatant age.

After all, BBC audiences have the right to know.

The trouble with employing arts graduates

BBC News - Malaysia airliner crashes in Ukraine - reports

The BBC report that:
'Malaysian airliner with 295 people on board has crashed in Ukraine near the border with Russia, on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, reports say.'
Two things come to mind: first that I'm not going to ever fly Air Malaysia again and second how will Jeremy Bowen manage to blame Israel for this incident?

Lyse Doucet update

Yesterday I posted this piece about Lyse Doucet's reporting (or rather non-reporting) of rockets being fired from Gaza at Israel. This Twitter conversation ended with this tweet of mine

I don't believe that I received an answer to that tweet, so when I saw this tweet

I just had to respond

To give Lyse Doucet some credit, she did have the courtesy to respond to me

So I reminded her that she hadn't answered my question re her not tweeting about rockets fired from Gaza prior to the Israeli response

Lyse Doucet came back with a reasonable excuse

So I responded with the obvious follow-up question/request
Alas Lyse Doucet has not managed to respond to this tweet yet. However I am sure that she will furnish me with this information today, after all surely her covering colleagues would have reported the Hamas rocket attacks in her absence... wouldn't they?

I think I've found Jeremy Bowen's role model

Israeli TV parody on BBC Gaza bias:

Jeremy Bowen's role model?

Incidentally after I had disagreed, politely, with Jeremy Bowen's reporting standards regarding the Israel / Palestinian dispute, he blocked me on Twitter. He's a piece of work isn't he.

IDF Aircraft Calls Off Strikes to Protect Gazan Civilians

During Operation Protective Edge, watch three separate instances of IDF aircraft calling off airstrikes in Gaza due to the presence of civilians near the target.

The IDF is doing all it can to minimize harm to civilians during the operation.

NHS Great Britain

Battsby gets it right....
'...  Our borders are sold, our armed forces made toothless, terrorist imams recruit in our jails and our easy-going largesse with tax money is abused by hordes of freeloaders we are powerless to deny. The hospital ship of state is holed below the waterline yet the stewards still ply the takers with all-inclusive drink and drugs while the captain and officers squabble over the course. Meanwhile, at each port of call, the sober and self-reliant slip away quietly, their empty bunks taken up by ever more stowaways. Cruise Ship Britain; doomed to roam the polluted seas until every paying passenger has gone overboard and taken the lifeboats with them.'

Only one in five white Britons votes for Labour - Politics - News - London Evening Standard

'...  two thirds of non-white voters supported Labour, which received the backing of just one in five white British voters.

The analysis suggests that the migration of ethnic minority voters to the capital's inner suburbs is behind recent Labour victories there. '
Now do you see why Labour massively increased immigration whilst in government? Forward planning, they're not as stupid as you might think. They are as evil though.

Lyse Doucet oops

The BBC's Lyse Doucet tweeted this this morning

It struck me that I hadn't noticed Lyse Doucet reporting rockets being fired from Gaza pre the Israeli response, so I tweeted her and she responded..

That sounded a weak excuse, so I responded.

In response, Lyse Doucet tried to fob me off, and indicated that the conversation was over. Just like Jeremy Bowen, it would seem Lyse Doucet doesn't like being questioned or having her bias pointed out to her.

So I did some quick research and lo and behold, just as I thought would be the case, I couldn't find a single Lyse Doucet tweet about rockets being fired from Gaza in the month of June 2014. I pointed this out to Lyse Doucet...

I haven't received a reply.

Typical BBC 'journalism' and attitude to someone who knows the facts and can be bothered to check her assertions.

For the idiots on Twitter who claim that Hamas's hatred of Israel is not because of religion

Article 7 of the Hamas Charter:
"The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: 'Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,' except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews."

The Middle East conflict summed up - 'One side wants the other side dead'

'The Middle East conflict is framed as one of the most complex problems in the world. But, in reality, it's very simple. Israelis want to live in peace and are willing to accept a neighboring Palestinian state. And most Palestinians do not want Israel to exist. In 5 minutes, understand how Israel was founded, and how, since that auspicious day in 1948, its neighbors have tried to destroy it, again and again. '
