Channel 4 - Dispatches - 20:00 - 21:00 "Dispatches reveals the contributions made by different immigrant groups, drawing on exclusive research from the Institute for Public Policy Research." The IPPR is a nice left wing research body who really would not have wanted to come up with the figures that they did for this programme. There has been a lot of advance publicity in the press but oddly the BBC have avoided the results of the research, I think they would have more than happily reported if the results had been more in line with the BBC "narrative".
BBC 1 - Panorama - 20:30 - 21:00 "How I Became a Muslim Extremist: Shiraz Maher, a former member of radical group Hizb ut-Tahrir, explores extremism in Britain and what needs to be done to win the hearts of angry young Muslims." Could be worth a watch but I expect a slight BBC gloss to be put on the threat and of course some allocation of blame to the non-Muslim population for Islamaphobia.
Mind you I am very tired after a hard day working and blogging, so I may just settle down with Mrs NotaSheep and Nigella Lawson!
