BBC headlines this morning

The BBC lie and spin on behalf of this government and I am getting really pissed off about it. The current BBC front page tells us that there are three top stories - "Police arrest 'missing canoeist'", "Nuclear report a victory - Iran" and "90 mph Police chief's driving ban" - nothing about Labour's dodgy donations, how odd. The side bar informs us that:
"OTHER TOP STORIES
Group targets grooming of girls

House prices dip in November

Two men held on terror charges

GP surgery abortions considered

Economy blues boost rate-cut call

Thirteen killed by Kabul car bomb

Williams apology to ex-manager"

The only mention on this front page of this scandal is Donor 'unlikely to get cash back' which tells us that "Sources at the Electoral Commission have indicated that the £663,975 given by David Abrahams via associates will instead go into government reserves.

Labour officials have been holding talks with the commission over how the money should be re-paid.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has promised to return the donations."

Other than that you have to go to the Politics home page to see anything on this scandal and even there it is being underplayed. Whatever BBC apologists like "John Reith" at Biased-BBC say, if this had been a Conservative government we all know that this story would have been the headline every day until the main players had been forced to resign.

The BBC lie and spin to support their favourites and denigrate their opponents; it's a fact.

  1. I have been out of the country for the past three weeks and, have been relying on the BBC World Service for my UK news fix.
It has been most noticeable the absence of anything on the "Dodggy Donations" scandal.
Most frustrating as my UK contacts have been full of it. Whilst I have been starved of any proper news about it by the BBC.
