Wind power, no thanks

The BBC are reporting that "All UK homes could be powered by offshore wind farms by 2020 as part of the fight against climate change, under plans unveiled by John Hutton.
Up to 7,000 turbines, two per mile of coast, could be installed to boost wind produced energy 60-fold by 2020."

This government is so stupid that they have swallowed the green propaganda about wind-power hook, line and sinker. If you are reading this site then I hope you have a mind of your own; investigate the true performance of wind-power.

The BBC report continues "The business secretary admitted it would change Britain's coastline, and mean higher electricity bills."

I love the coast, Mrs NotaSheep and myself visit it often and we not go there to see wind turbines and electricity bills are quite high enough.

To all the advocates of wind-power, I say wave-power and nuclear.
