Low levels of debt?
Did Alistair Darling just say on the BBC Radio 4 Toady programme - "we have low levels of debt". Strange how that staggering claim wasn't challenged picked up by the BBC interviewer.
You sure it was Radio Four and not Radio Seven, as I thought that was the BBC's comedy station? But if you say the mantra long enough you will believe it. But Glove-Puppet Darling should not have been allowed to get away with that one - even by the BBC!
