Venezuela Violent Deaths Double Iraq's Numbers

Many thanks to Gateway Pundit for this spot. It appears that the Hugo Chavez regime much loved by the western media and especially the BBC presided over a country that in the "last three months" of 2007 experienced around 3,000 murders whilst there were "1,498 civilian fatalities in Iraq". "For the last three months of 2007, a Venezuelan was twice as likely to lose his life to violence as an Iraqi".

I wonder if the BBC will report this...
