I am no fan of The Independent newspaper, in fact I refuse to buy it as I consider it mostly full of pernicious propaganda; however Guido Fawkes has drawn my attention to an interesting article by Andreas Whittam Smith on the Peter Hain affair. He makes some good points, so take a read.
