BBC reporting of the election results

The BBC are in a deep depression about the local election results and are trying to minimise the damage to their beloved Labour party. The Radio London news at 11:00 was interesting, the lead story was the local election results followed by how Labour will fight back - with short speech by Gordon Brown - then how the Lib Dems had done fairly well - followed by a short Nick Clegg speech - nothing from the victorious Conservatives at all. Then quick coverage of the London mayoral election.

Come on BBC, your team lost - accept defeat gracefully.
