The Labour government's economic policies explained

"If you start your own business building houses, don’t come whinging to us when times get tough. Unless it’s a really big business, in which case, we will bale you out, as we will if you have taken on a mortgage that you can’t really afford. Those of you who run successful businesses, or have been sensible with your debt levels will need to pitch in some more cash to pay for this, it’s only fair. We need to shore up our core vote and party contributions, after all."
