Jacqui Smith gets a blue plaque (update)

Brave men going anywhere near Jacqui Smith's house, I would have thought Special Branch would have been watching or is the need for security not as tight as the Labour government like to claim?

  1. On the surface, it seems brave, but it's not really that brave - Special Branch, along with the rest of the population, know that Jacqui Smith hardly ever resides at her "primary tax-payer funded residence", preferring instead her "second, tax-payer funded residence", so I'm sure that the SB rota for guarding her is probably pretty empty.

Anyway, why should she be in London? The government in general probably feel that there's nothing really to occupy their minds in London at the moment, so they all might as well stay at "home", have a taxpayer-funded BBQ and then catch a few taxpayer-funded films, or use taxpayers' money to write a few juvenile stories.

    Crisis, what crisis?

Lucky for them that we simply love cake, as the bread has long gone.
