Harriet Harman is at it again, this time The Equality Bill which allegedly aims to tackle discrimination against a range of groups including women, the elderly, and those from lower social classes. Apparently it also will make it a legal duty of public bodies in England and Wales to address social inequalities.
Harriet what more rubbish do you want to foist on the UK before you and your party are kicked out of office?
One of the best ways of reducing social inequality in England would be to introduce compulsory elocution lessons in all schools. Then people would not immediately identify their social class the moment they opened their mouth (vide, Pygmalion, My Fair Lady). Do you think Harriet would be up for it?
ReplyDeleteAnother good way, of course would be to have a compulsory list of authorised Christian names - 'Harriet' would be a good one to have.
