Did I dream the BBC report on Gordon Brown and job cuts at Cadburys?

Earlier today I could have sworn I saw an approving BBC headline that Gordon Brown had warned Cadburys that there should be no job losses in the UK if they were taken over by Kraft. This afternoon as I read on the BBC that: "Cadbury's chairman has confirmed to the BBC that job losses are an "inevitability" at the company after its takeover by US giant Kraft Foods." the earlier article seems to have disappeared... Old articles on a subject normally appear in a list at the top right of the latest article page in date order, latest at the top; in this case the Gordon Brown standing up for British jobs article has just disappeared.

Has anyone a note of what the earlier article said? It would be instructive to ask the BBC why it has disappeared...

  1. I was sure I saw that too, and in the Mail as well. The Mail's article has been changed but they didn't change the words in the link "Brown issues jobs warning ..."

Wouldn't it, though? Funny how they manage to lose just the right things, isn't it?
