Resounding support for the Euro
the Local report that: 'Half of Germans want the Deutsche mark back' In fact its worse/better than that:

And yet every German voter the BBC's Peter Marshall met (and put on camera) just a few weeks ago supported the Euro. The 'Newsnight' reporter even emphasized the 'fact' that no-one he'd spoken to wanted to ditch it.
ReplyDeleteEither the mood of the German public has swung dramatically in the last month or the BBC's Peter Marshall was spinning like a spider on steroids. (I suspect the latter).
