As this blog sinks down the monthly Wikio Political Blogging charts, all but breaking my heart as every months rankings are released; I notice that it is time for Total Politics's blog poll for 2010. It was the surprise appearance of this blog in Iain Dale's 2007 political blogging list, after just a few months of my blogging, that gave me the impetus to take blogging more seriously/waste more time writing instead of working.
So here are some questions that you might be asking regarding voting in this poll along with my answers:

Dear Mr. Goat,
ReplyDeleteI have been visiting your blog much more since the demise of Craig. Of course they are different style blogs with a bit of overlap, but with my main interest being BBC-bashing, I would look at Craig first.
Time constraints often meant I didn't have time to keep up with yours.
But, I enjoy it very much. There are many interesting posts here. It remains a puzzle to me why there are so few comments. Maybe it is just lack of publicity.
Also the posting method is a bit cumbersome. Is there any way of getting rid of the word verification process ?
Anyway you will appear in my top five. Ten blogs is way too many for me to keep track of !
Hi Grant,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words.
I too miss BeebBiasCraig's blog, it was always an excellent read and I wish I had the time to do the analysis that he did. Actually I have done this on occasions maybe I should just try harder.
It is a mystery to me as well why I get so few comments, maybe my visitors are particularly shy?
Sorry but I need the word verification otherwise the blog gets spammed. I'll see if there are any alternatives that are quicker to use.
Thanks for the vote!
