Peter Tatchell penetrates the BNP's Nick Griffin's 'security cordon'
Not very good security people are they and on what grounds do they bindle Peter Tatchell away?
I am not a huge fan of Peter Tatchell but you can't doubt his bravery in confronting some very unpleasant people.
But, I have a sneaking admiration for Tatchell and will always admire him for when he confronted Mugabe in, I think Brussels, and was beaten up by Mugabe's thugs for his trouble.
Very true. Peter Tatchell remains a man of surprises. A left-winger prepared to tackle Mugabe and unprepared to be hypocritical about Castro is worthy of a little praise from us conservative types.
I first read that as "security condom ".

The "EU authorities" did nothing as usual.
But , no-one can accuse Tatchell of cowardice.
Word verification was "sesse" , (not sissy ) which , amusingly, in Turkish has a meaning of "making a noise " or "giving vent to your feelings " !
