What has happened to The Telegraph website?

When I visited The Telegraph web site I assumed they had had a problem and that was why all the pages looked so weak. However it seems that they have in fact had a redesign, a poor one. The site looks cheap and dull with a particularly retro look to the 'Comments and blogs' sidebar. The top advertisement takes up about a third of my laptop screen and just like when the BBC redesigned their news website, the amount of information on each page seems to have been reduced.

The result of this redesign will be that whilst I will still visit the site, it's less biased than the BBC News site, I won't enjoy it...
