Please someone take William Hague aside and tell him to use his brain not fall for the environmentalist narrative; hook, line and sinker.
The deposit of coral on these atolls is constantly being added to. This causes the coral to rise to sea level where it is eroded by the tide & wind. Therefore these islands will always be just above the sea level & rise or fall with it. The biggest threat is man's activity i.e. buildig on it & extacting water.
