  1. Sad to lose a fellow Scot, he has gone to the Baker Street in the skies.
Well done England, great stuff !
Will Ponting continue as Aussie captain ?
Been absent from computers for about 2 months now, but hope to catch up with your blog, Mr. Goat. Glad it is still here !

  3. Mr. Goat,
    Very kind to ask.
The land is superb, better than I expected. On 18 November I had a meeting with a planning consultant ( former head of the planning department and was in charge of making the first Ordnance Survey map of Gambia in the 60/70s ).
I only had a rough sketch plan. He organised a draftsman, submitted the application and I had an email this week from my lawyer that planning permission has been granted. No bribes !
That must be a world record !
Planning controls are much stricter than UK, especially in Brusubi where we have bought and all the posh people live ( ! ).
Amazing country, always full of surprises, but not always pleasant ones !
