Another Middle Eastern dictatorship in trouble from protestors

This time its Libya but the BBC are less keen to support the protestors and even include this risible comment in their report:
'Col Gadaffi, who has been in power since 1969, has suggested he might join the protests himself, the BBC's Jon Leyne reports.'

Even the BBC cannot allow that level of delusion, so:
'He has always insisted that the country is run by a series of peoples' committees, though most outside observers believe it is a police state with Col Gadaffi firmly in control, our correspondent adds. '

The demonstrators in Libya are being met with force, so will the BBC doas they did with Iran and not support the protestors or will they do as they did with Egypt and get on board?

  1. Libya is the BBC's favourite country in the region after Iran.
