'Reggae star Smiley Culture died from a single stab wound to his heart while police officers were searching his home, an investigation has found.

Watchdog the Independent Police Complaints Commission said a probe is continuing into the death of the artist, whose real name was David Emmanuel.

Reports in the media following his death on Tuesday suggested the stab wound was self-inflicted.

He died as police officers were executing a search warrant at his home.'
