The close proximity of Osama Bin Laden's enormous hideout to Pakistan's West Point equivalent; coincidence?

At some point the fact that Osama Bin Laden's enormous and incredibly well protected secure base was less than half a mile away from the Pakistan Military Academy (Pakistan's equivalent of America's West Point) will need analysing. I note that the US are saying that they did not pre-warn any allies of this attack and it is obvious why this was the case. The UK and French governments & intelligence services leak like a sieve and both may have embedded within them agents with Al Qaeda sympathies. As for the Pakistani government on whose soil this attack took place; would you trust a government whose main military academy was within half a mile of their alleged enemies headquarters?

Maybe now the West will realise that Pakistan is not part of the solution but part of the problem and that India (the largest democracy in the world) deserves our support in fighting Islamist terrorism within its borders.

  1. It is also intriguing that he was holed up close to the Ayub Hospital - the biggest and best medical facility in northern Pakistan.

  2. Charitably, you could say he lived where people would least expect it .... but....
Agree, we should support India, what problems are Indians causing, except on the cricket field ? Another reason for supporting them ! No match fixing scandals !
