Illustrating tricky language concepts

A Tweeter that I follow, jonworth, posted this Tweet late last night:

'Tired of the Blair/European President stuff. Can we pls analyse in terms of value to European democracy, rather than in terms of Blair's ego'

Jon is rather more pro-EU than I but an interesting read nonetheless.
