“Hatred as the central element of our struggle! Hatred that is intransigent…hatred so violent that it propels a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him violent and cold- blooded killing machine...We reject any peaceful approach. Violence is inevitable. To establish Socialism rivers of blood must flow! The imperialist enemy must feel like a hunted animal wherever he moves. Thus we’ll destroy him! These hyenas are fit only for extermination. We must keep our hatred alive and fan it to paroxysm! The victory of Socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims!”-- Ernesto "Che" Guevara speaking about Americans, April 1966 Message to the Tricontinental Conference in Havana, Cuba
Remember that whilst the exact number of executions Che Guevara ordered is unknown, conservative estimates range from 400 to 2,000 over his lifetime. Unfortunately, the lack of proper records mean that the exact number will probably never be known. What is clear is that Che guevara was a violent Communist who thought nothing of killing anyone who opposed him.
Do remember this the next time you see an idiot wearing his 'cool' Che T-shirt or meet anyone, not Spanish, who names their son after this 'hero'.
Why must you constantly conflate Communism with Liberalism? A prat in a Che T-shirt hardly represents the entire spectrum of western liberal thought dating back several hundred years.
ReplyDeleteI would like, with your premission, to copy and paste the bulk of this posting and carry a copy in an evelope to hand to people I see wearing these disgusting items of clothing.
ReplyDeleteIt took a while to get him to the prison though, where he excelled in killing. before that he had completely fucked Cuba's sugar production (they were either the top or 2nd biggest producer in all Latin and South America) along with a few more ministries he had. What a complete cunt. I try to tell everyone I see with those T-shirts with his image etc, even the shops that sell them.
ReplyDeleteSpan Owls: Indeed
ReplyDeleteAnon 20:30: With pleasure and good luck with the plan.
Anon 17:25: The people I see wearing Che T-shirts would not describe themselves as Communists but as human-rights campaigners, socialists, lovers of freedom and yes 'liberals', I doubt many see themselves as Communists. You complain about my conflating, yet you refuse to see connections. Please desists from posting here as you add nothing to the debate, other than ignorance.
Did doctor Che take the hypocritic oath instead of the Hippocratic? Evil swine.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what people say about him Guevara remains an admired, controversial, and significant historical figure.Che Guevara is one of the most controversial and iconic figures in recent memory and is still a hero to many. Some capitalists like to think that he was a terrorist, but he was a hero to the people.Nelson Mandela referred to him as "an inspiration for every human being who loves freedom" while Jean Paul Sarte described him as "not only an intellectual but also the most complete human being of our age.According to Time magazine, Che Guevara was one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. Swatch made a Che watch,Rage Against The Machine used his photo on an album cover, endless posters and flyers adorn walls everywhere from Havana to Beverley Hills; Mike Tyson and Diego Maradonnahave Che tattoos on their arms. Che’s legend has continued to grow since his death in 1967, and the revolutionary, anti-imperialist ideals he lived and died for now appeal to a new generation of 21st-century men and women.........HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE
