Revelations that Gordon Brown 'threatened a senior official unless he provided economic figures that suited him' - any coverage on the BBC?

The Telegraph recounts how Alistair Darling has written that Gordon Brown, when Prime Minister, 'threatened a senior official unless he provided economic figures that suited him.' A serious allegation to make and one that surely would be of interest to the national broadcaster. Well no, as it is embarrassing to their beloved Labour Party this BBC article on the Alistair Darling book makes no mention of that allegation.
