Where have all the lovely cars come from?

Yesterday I saw two Jensen Interceptors, gorgeous cars and rather a rare sight these days...

I also saw a Bristol 411 s4, car that epitomises restrained elegance...

Less excitingly I also saw two new Nissan GTRs, lovely if rather brutal cars.

Today I saw a lovely Green Maserati Merak S...

I wonder what automobile loveliness I shall spot tomorrow?

  1. Wonderful cars. It was a great shame when Jensen's Coventry factory closed in 1976 I think. I attended the auction and bought some thread gauges; even now we still use a 1/2" NPTF step ring gauge bought there.

This site shows how primitive the production facilities were and how chaotic the build process seems to have been. Even so, they produced a beautiful product.
