Alan Milburn has apparently warned that there is 'not a 'snowball's chance in hell' UK will eradicate child poverty by 2020'
That sounds terrible, any reasonable person would ask 'why can't we meet the target?'
However I thought that the measure of child poverty in the UK was children living in homes taking in less than 60% of the median UK income. If that is the case then child poverty can only be reduced by equalising UK income, so is it the case that this government has dedicated itself to income redistribution? How socialist, how not Conservative...
