Judge Lord Burns rules that Andy Coulson has no case to answer in his perjury trial. Oddly I can't find this news on the anti Conservative BBC website.
There is a good piece about the acquittal in the Spectator at http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/coffeehouse/2015/06/not-every-lie-amounts-to-perjury/ Essentially, unless the judge believes that a lie affected the jury's decision, it is not perjury. One learns something new every day!
