Ford sees a future in UK after Brexit, says CEO Mark Fields per BBC News but isn't a point being missed

The BBC are all doom and gloom over Brexit and this report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-39537726 is no different.

However in amongst this a pertinent fact is being missed. If the UK leaves the EU and has no access to the Single Market on the same or similar terms to now then the EU car manufacturers, mainly German, will lose their preferential access to the UK market. If that happens then might it not be excellent news for the likes of Ford. Might not the Ford Mondeo, a seriously good driving car, become the executive car of choice? Ford Mondeo or Audi A4/BMW 3 series...
