I have had enough of being told what and how to think
Whilst we are still allowed the remnants of free speech, I will speak out.
I also reserve the right to discuss less controversial matters should I feel the urge.
Offensive sentiments and the chanting of "racists go home" to silence someone with a different opinion is quite scary. This mob mentality is spreading and scares me.
Our culture is civilisation. Nothing beats that. And as a reader points out in Conservative Woman today, this old saying still applies: "If you cannot discuss or debate something without resorting to insults then you should keep quiet, for you have lost the argument before you begin."
