A detail intriguing however in this new album: the disappearance of the famous opening page presenting a map of Gaul with the magnifying glass placed on the Gallic village surrounded by the Roman camps of Aquarium, Babaorum, Laudanum and Petibonum.
Exit also the few lines locating the action: "We are in 50 before Christ. All Gaul is occupied by the Romans ... All? No. A village populated by irreducible Gauls resists again and again and the invader ... " The publisher he felt that this small text emblematic of the saga was today too violent to be delivered to millions of readers?'
Little by little our shared history and points of reference are being erased.
