Yusuf Islam

I have very little time for Yusuf, formerly Yusuf Islam, formerly Cat Stevens, formerly Steven Georgiou. He has a new album out now but I think this video shows the real Yusuf. In it you see Yusuf Islam saying that he would rather the real Salman Rushdie was burnt than an effigy. I know that subsequently Yusuf Islam has claimed that he was joking and that the show was improperly edited. I also believe that since these comments were made he has strongly denied ever calling for the death of Rushdie or supporting the fatwa. Judge for yourselves...
