The BBC now seem to have removed this story from their news front page and their politics front page, in fact the only link to it that I can see is on their Europe news page where it resides in the "MORE EUROPE NEWS" section at position 5. Somehow I think that if this was the spouse of a Conservative politician the story would rank somewhat higher on the BBC news website.
The BBC protecting Party Members, it's what they do.
