'Although Britain is not in the euro and thus does not contribute to the eurozone crisis fund, we do contribute to an EU crisis "mechanism" - signed up to by Alistair Darling in those five days in May after the election.'Alistair Darling signed up to this EU crisis 'mechanism' after the general election whilst Gordon Brown was clinging onto power despite losing the election. What other 'binding' decisions did Gordon Brown and his team make in their last days in power; decisions taken to frustrate and hinder the Conservative lead coalition?
