Gerald Kaufman has died, Jeremy Corbyn's comments raised a question with me
'I last saw him in his lovely flat in St John’s Wood in London, surrounded by film posters and a library of the film world.'I wonder if this 'lovely flat in St John's Wood' was the one for which Gerald Kaufman claimed more than £115,000 of Parliamentary expenses for work, and where he had spent £8,000 on a large-screen TV and another £1,500 on a luxury rug?
I suppose that when you are that interested in films you need a large taxpayer paid for television to watch them on.
Nothing too good for the workers, or at least their representatives?
Gerald Kaufman 'done troughing'?
Gerald Kaufman has died, his attitude to Israel was well known so Jeremy Corbyn's comments are revealing (part 1)
“I’m very sad at the passing of Sir Gerald Kaufman MP. An iconic and irascible figure in the Labour Party, Gerald worked with Harold Wilson when he was Prime Minister in the 1960s and became a Labour MP in 1970. Gerald was always a prominent figure in the party and in Parliament, with his dandy clothes and wonderful demeanour in speaking. Gerald came from a proud Jewish background. He always wanted to bring peace to the Middle East and it was my pleasure to travel with him to many countries. I last saw him in his lovely flat in St John’s Wood in London, surrounded by film posters and a library of the film world. He loved life and politics. I will deeply miss him, both for his political commitment and constant friendship.”"Always wanted to bring peace to the Middle East", well that's one way of looking at it.
Even the rabidly institutionally anti-Israel BBC recognise where Gerald Kaufman stood on Israel, on its throat:
'A practising Jew, he was best known for his fierce opposition to the policies of the Israeli government and its treatment of the Palestinians.Of course for the BBC these are views that they would also hold and espouse.
...
Kaufman's most vocal attacks were reserved for Israel and its policies towards the Palestinians. A member of the Jewish Labour Movement, he called for economic sanctions against Israel and a ban on sales of arms.
In 2002 he broke a longstanding pledge never to visit Israel when he went there to make a BBC documentary called The End of An Affair, which charted his early infatuation with the Jewish state as a young student and how he later became disillusioned.
He launched a bitter attack on the Israeli prime minister, Ariel Sharon. "It is time to remind Sharon," he said, "that the Star of David belongs to all Jews, not to his repulsive government."
He often compared Israel's treatment of the Palestinians with South African apartheid and, described Israel's use of white phosphorus flares in the 2009 offensive in Gaza as "war crimes".
"I long ago gave up hope for the Israelis participating in a negotiated solution," he said in 2014.'
The BBC always willing to get some anti-Israel views into an article.
That definitely unbiased BBC at work again
The trouble is that time after time sites such as mine, Biased BBC, Media Watch and Is The BBC Biased provide examples of that BBC bias.
One example that caught my eye today was published by Craig at Is The BBC Biased. It's a couple of tweets from the BBC's incoming head of religious programming, Fatima Salaria, as spotted by DB. Here's the one more relevant to the UK:
I'd like to know how a BBC head of department who retweets a description of a (then) senior Conservative politician as 'the worst of them all' , an 'Odious cretin of a man' and says that '#GoveMUSTgo' can in any way be described as politically unbiased.
I'd raise the question with the BBC but I really can't be bothered wasting my time complaining to the BBC only to receive brush-off after brush-off.
A Conservative Party with balls would tackle (pun intended) the BBC over their anti-Conservative Party bias but this iteration of the Conservative Party is no more brave than any previous one.

No Shit Sherlock - UK terror threat 'at highest since 1970s IRA plots' per BBC News
'Britain faces a level of terror threat not seen since the IRA bombings of the 1970s, according to a new watchdog.Max Hill, the independent reviewer of terrorism laws, told the Sunday Telegraph.
...
Mr Hill... said the so-called Islamic State was planning "indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians of whatever race or colour" in UK cities, close to the scale of Provisional IRA attacks of the 1970s.'
No Shit Sherlock...
More from the BBC here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39093389
A BBC whose mealy mouthed coverage of the real causes of Islamist terrorism have helped the rise of that terrorism.
A BBC whose unyielding support for unfettered immigration have helped Britain to be more threatened by Islamist terrorism than would otherwise be the case.
David Harewood: Next Doctor Who should be black or female per BBC News
According to the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39093558
'Actor David Harewood has said the next Doctor Who should not be another white man - and has thrown his own hat into the ring...
"It needs to do something different, so I think it's either going to be a black person or a woman. It would just bring a different flavour to it."'
Why does it need 'to do something different'?
Why does it need a 'different flavour'?
Wouldn't the actor or actress who gets the role of the next Doctor rather know they've got it on merit rather than because of their sex and / or race?

Heidelberg car attack injures three per BBC News
Here we go again?
'Three people have been injured in the German city of Heidelberg after a man drove a car into a pedestrian area.
The attacker, who was believed to have been armed with a knife, was shot and injured by police in a brief standoff after fleeing the scene on foot.
His motives are unclear, but terrorism is not suspected and he is thought to have acted alone, police say.
In December an attacker drove a lorry into a Berlin Christmas market, killing 12 people and injuring more than 50.
Police were unable to confirm local media reports that the Heidelberg attacker was mentally disturbed.'
BBC article here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39091858
The two lines that made my jaw drop were these:
'His motives are unclear, but terrorism is not suspected and he is thought to have acted alone, police say.
In December an attacker drove a lorry into a Berlin Christmas market, killing 12 people and injuring more than 50.'
Terrorism is not suspected by whom? I suspect it might be terrorism. Nicely done saying terrorism not suspected in this instance and then not mentioning that terrorism was a factor in the Berlin attack.
The BBC disgust me yet again.
BBC bureau chief in Washington, Paul Danahar, is a comedy genius!
'BBC bureau chief in Washington, Paul Danahar, said: "We understand that there may be occasions when, due to space or circumstances, the White House restricts press events to the established pool. However, what happened today did not fit into that pattern."He added: "Our reporting will remain fair and impartial, regardless."'
The BBC's reporting of US politics - 'fair and impartial' ? That's one of the funniest claims of this year.

Report: Attackers saw off Jewish man’s finger, beat his brother near Paris per The Times of Israel
'Two Jewish brothers said they were abducted briefly and beaten by several men in suburban Paris in an incident that ended with one brother having his finger sawed off by an assailant.
The brothers were hospitalized in what was described as a state of shock following the incident Tuesday night in Bondy.
A casereport published Thursday by the National Bureau for Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, or BNVCA, based on a police complaint by the alleged victims did not specify their medical condition.
The kippah-wearing brothers, whose father is a Jewish leader in Bondy, were forced off the main road by another vehicle on to a side street, according to the BNVCA report. While the vehicle was in motion, the driver and a passenger shouted anti-Semitic slogans at the brothers that included "Dirty Jews, You're going to die!" the father told BNVCA based on the complaint filed by his sons.
The vehicle forced the brothers to stop their car, and they were surrounded by several men whom they described as having a Middle Eastern appearance. The men came out of a hookah café on to the side street, according to the case report published by the news website JSSNews.
The alleged attackers surrounded the brothers, then kicked and punched them repeatedly while threatening that they would be murdered if they moved. One of the alleged attackers then sawed off the finger of one of the brothers.'
You can read more about this here http://www.timesofisrael.com/report-attackers-saw-off-jewish-mans-finger-beat-his-brother-near-paris/ but obviously not at all on the BBC where the mention of the attackers being of Middle Eastern appearance makes this reporting this story strictly verboten.

What encourages Islamic radicalisation? What doesn't?
This comment from KafirMe on Biasedbbc.org neatly sums up where we are now.
'Putting restrictions on Muslims traveling to the West encourages radicalisation as the West is so bigoted. Not putting restrictions on Muslims traveling to the West encourages radicalisation because the West is so bigoted towards them when they arrive.
Criticising Islam (i.e. Islamaphobia) encourages radicalisation as it risks alientating the Muslim community. Not criticising Islam (i.e. Islamaphilia) encourages radicalisation because it reinforces that the crackpot doctrine is correct.
Criticising Islamic terrorists encourages radicalisation as it alientates the Muslim community. Not criticising Islamic terrorists encourages radicalisation as it embodlens their actions.
Drawing cartoons of Mo encourages radicalisation. Not allowing halal products encourages radicalisation. Not allowing a call to prayer encourages radicalisation. Not allowing sharia courts encourages radicalisation. Insisting that women are not possesions or sex slaves encourages radicalisation as it show a lack of respect to the culture. All these things risk alientating the Muslim community
Interveaning in Middle East dictatorships and bloodbaths encourages radicalisation as it is the West meddling in Muslim lands. Not interveaning in Middle East dictatorships and bloodbaths (or letting migrants in en masse) encourages radicalisation as the West is complicit in the the butchering of Muslims.
Arresting and jailing loony terrorists or hate preachers encourages radicalisation as it risks alientating the Muslim community. Not arresting and jailing loony terrorists or hate preachers encourages radicalisation as it emboldens them……
It is almost like, short of accepting dhimmitude, bowing down to Islam and paying the jyzra, anything any non-Muslim says or does encourages radicalisation in some way, shape or form.Perhaps one day it will dawn on us that maybe we're not the entire problem.'

Who are Project Veritas's Next Target? CNN?
I hope that you remember Project Veritas's expose of the Democratic Party during the recent US Presidential Election. It seems as though they may have another expose and this time it's of a major news organisation. I'd like that to be the biased BBC but CNN will do. Fingers crossed...
"I know how it starts and I know how it ends"
"I'm a political refugee from Iran. I've been to prison, I've been under Islamic law and I know how it starts and I know how it ends. And it always starts, for some reason, with the unity of the left and Islamists... and I'm beginning to get really scared.... It looks like they're going to basically appease Islamists just to not raise any ruckus, they're going to appease them step by step and they're not going to stop. They see it as a sign of weakness, so they're going to take more and more... "
Listen to all of those interviewed in that piece of vox pop, voices you won't hear on the BBC or other pro Muslim immigration media.

Leaked Report: Six Million Migrants Want To Enter Europe
Breitbart reports http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/02/22/leaked-report-six-million-migrants-want-to-enter-europe/ that:
'A leaked secret report from the German security authorities has revealed that almost six million migrants from countries around the Mediterranean want to enter Europe.
The report, which was obtained by German tabloid Bild, claims that there are at least 5.95 million migrants in countries around the Mediterranean who are seeking to enter Europe. In Turkey alone, the report estimates there to be 2.93 million migrants who have set their sights on the benefits of being an asylum seeker in a western European country like Germany OE24 reports.'
Don't expect to read anything about this on the pro unlimited immigration BBC.
More good news about the UK economy
There's more good news about the UK economy this morning.
UK GDP growth for the fourth quarter of 2016 has been revised higher this morning to +0.7%, higher than the expected +0.6%. The Office for National Statistics revealed export growth of 4.1%, which alongside a fall in imports of 0.4% means net trade added 1.3% to growth.
Not a word on the institutionally anti Brexit BBC homepage as yet. Are they trying to find a Remoaner to explain why this is a) despite Brexit and/or b) actually bad news.
Do you remember when Barack Obama told Russia's Medvedev that he'd have 'more flexibility' after the election?
Oddly I don't remember the BBC, CNN, MSNBC being outraged by Barack Hussein Obama's comments to Mr Medvedev, that he said he would pass on the Vladimir Putin.

British suicide bomber dies in attack on Iraqi forces in Mosul per BBC News
The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39045923 that:
'A British IS fighter who died in a suicide bomb attack on Iraqi forces in Mosul is a former Guantanamo Bay detainee, the BBC understands.'
A former Guantanamo Bay detainee? That's really odd as the BBC have been ever so careful to ensure that the British public believe that Guantanamo Bay was full of innocent people.

Nikki Haley moves to near the top of the BBC hate list with this press conference comment
The new American Ambassador to the United Nations dares to speak the truth about the United Nations and its obsession with Israel. The institutionally anti Israel BBC won't like that.
Police: "No Evidence" Brexit Caused Spike in Hate Crime per Guido Fawkes
'Essex Police, one of the country's largest police forces, has sent out a statement denying a link between the referendum result and the rise in hate crime reported last week. They believe the increased figures are caused by an increase in reporting:
"There is no evidence to suggest any increase has been specifically and directly caused by any one event or issue… There has been an increase in reports of alleged hate crime across Essex, which mirrors a national trend. Hate crime is significantly under-reported and we believe that greater awareness and confidence in the police response has contributed to these increases in reporting."'
I look forward to the BBC reporting this. Except they won't as there's an anti Brexit narrative to push.

Trump tries to explain remark about Sweden amid confusion per BBC News
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39023978 is yet another of the BBC's incessant anti President Donald Trump pieces. The BBC are desperate to ridicule the new American President, to attack him whenever possible and to ensure that the British public is fed an unending diet of anti Trump articles.
This one concerns what seems to have been a slip of the tongue in a speech by the new democratically elected President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, regarding Sweden.
President Donald Trump has clarified his comments. Apparently he was referring to a programme on Fox News about Sweden's problems which had been aired "last night".
That seems plausible and enough to put this line of attack to bed, but the BBC have an agenda to push.
Oddly enough I don't remember the BBC being so keen to report Barack Hussein Obama's misspeaks, did they even mention the hilarious time when the Obamamessiah forgot how many states there are in the United States of America? Here's the video https://youtu.be/EpGH02DtIws Surely that was worth showing. If it had been George W. Bush or Donald Trump then you would have seen or heard it endlessly on Have I Got News For You and The News Quiz but as it's Barack Obama, not a mention.
Please note that this does not mean that the BBC is in any way biased against Republican Presidents, the BBC is completely impartial at all times...

Brexit: Mandelson urges Lords not to 'throw in towel' per BBC News but no mention of the EU pension obviously
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-39020252 about Peter Mandleson's urging of the House of Lords to, in effect, ignore the EU Referendum result omits the surely pertinent fact that the former EU Commissioner is, or will be, in receipt of a large EU pension. This pension can be withheld if he went against the interests of the EU, forgetting the interests of the United Kingdom.
"BBC bias reporting on refugees"
This is how the BBC manipulate the news for their own ends.
As an aside, why didn't these 'refugees' want to be processed properly? Do they have something to hide?
Comment of the week on Biased BBC
'I was thinking the other day about how the alt-left media and a certain US political party have become so obsessed with so-called 'interference in sovereign elections from foreign parts' (i.e. supposedly from Russia) but without much evidence to show that direct interference took place in the recent US presidential election. Our own BBC has not been behind the gate in supporting the view that interference took place, and is to be condemned.
Hmmmmm. if I recall correctly, the Guardian newspaper from the UK interfered absolutely directly in 2004 in the US presidential election, attempting (ultimately unsuccessfully) to browbeat voters in Clark County, Ohio, to cast their votes against George Bush.
I don't remember any great brouhaha and outright condemnation at the time against the behaviour of the Guardian by any alt-left media… and absolutely NOT from our gloriously unbiased BBC – in fact IIRC, the BBC was more concerned that the Guardian had actually won Ohio for Bush.
Typical BBC hypocrisy.'
Hard to disagree with that...

Are you worried about leaving your car in a city centre multi storey car park?
Are you worried about leaving your car in a city centre multi storey car park? I may have found one that might ease your concerns:
'On entrance to the car park the driver is issued with a barcoded ticket. This barcode is scanned by a ticket machine and linked to a specific parking bay when the driver types in the bay number.
This activates the specially-designed motion sensor located in the ground beneath the car. When the driver returns they may only gain entrance to the building using their ticket and, on payment of the parking charges, the sensor is turned off.
The sensor detects any movement of the car and triggers an alarm process if the associated parking ticket has not yet been marked as paid. As well as detecting the horizontal motion of the car being driven off the sensor also checks for vertical motion such as that caused by a person getting into the car.
The car park is monitored by a control room operator using 190 CCTV cameras and a computerised map of the building. The operator also monitors pedestrian access and emergency buttons and has the ability to lock down all exit points. A PA system allows the operator to communicate with anybody inside the building.
After several years of evidence that the system worked, a guarantee was introduced stating that the costs of repairing any damage caused by "theft of or theft from the vehicle while secured in the car park" would be covered by Parksafe Systems. To avoid fraudulent claims, the entrance includes several CCTV cameras that record the state of the cars before they are left in the car park.
Following one customer complaint about a small scratch, foam barriers were placed between the parking bays to prevent doors opening into neighbouring vehicles.'
Sounds wonderful? Unfortunately you'll only be able to use this car park if you park in Derby at the Bold Lane car park. Driving there and catching the train to London from Derby each day seems a touch excessive. That might even be just a little bit more expensive than repairing the dings in my car's wings and doors from careless parkers picked up in London car parks.

Dutch populist Geert Wilders calls some Moroccans 'scum' per BBC News

The lead in to this story on the BBC home page is
'Dutch populist calls Moroccans 'scum''
The headline on the article page is:
'Dutch populist Geert Wilders calls some Moroccans 'scum''
Was there really no room for the word 'some' on the BBC home page or were the BBC deliberately trying to mislead people as to what Geert Wilders actually said?
The BBC misleading its viewers on a matter relating to Israel?
The BBC's institutional anti Israel coverage is so clear that I wonder just how damming the Balen Report was.

Who's going to succeed Peter Capaldi as The Doctor? It seems http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39002451 that Danny Dyer might be clearing the decks...

Tony Blair calls for people to 'rise up' against Brexit per BBC News
The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38996179 Tony Blair's words but it's this piece that set me thinking:
'Previously, Mr Blair has called for the views of the "16 million" people who had backed remaining in the EU not to be ignored.
He has argued that there has to be a way, either "through Parliament, or an election, or possibly through another referendum, in which people express their view".'
Imagine that the Remain campaign had won the EU Referendum by 52:48, or 51:49, or even by one solitary vote. Would the Remain side be saying that the 16 million people who voted to Leave the EU should not have their views ignored? Of course not. The remainiacs are showing their anti democratic side.
Just as when the Irish and French gave the 'wrong' answer in referendums, it is clear that to the remainiacs giving the 'wrong' answer is not acceptable and the pro EU side will push for referendum after referendum until the British people give the 'correct' answer at which point there will be no further referendum, ever.

Trump launches stinging attack on media per BBC News
The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38998362 President Donald Trump's attack on the media:
'US President Donald Trump has launched a ferocious attack on the media while defending his record during his first weeks in office.

The BBC manage not to include themselves amongst the dishonest media, a place that they deserve.
How a student unintentionally made an explosive at U Bristol per The Safety Zone
As a followup to my last post, here's an explanation http://cenblog.org/the-safety-zone/2017/02/how-a-student-unintentionally-made-an-explosive-at-u-bristol/ that makes sense.
It's a statement about the incident, prepared byTimothy C. Gallagher, a chemistry professor and dean of the Faculty of Science, and Nicholas C. Norman, head of the school of chemistry.
Bristol University student accidentally made explosive per BBC News
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-38991983 leads me to ask two questions. Read it, here's the key part:
'University buildings were evacuated when a student accidentally made the same highly explosive substance that was used in the Paris terror attacks.
An investigation by Bristol University has found that triacetone triperoxide (TATP) was "unintentionally formed during a routine procedure".'
Are you, like me, asking how one accidentally makes the explosive TATP?
Are you also asking what routine procedure lead to the unintentional forming of TATP?
Do you think there might be more to this story than we're being told?
Hamas hardliner?
'The Palestinian militant group Hamas has elected a hardline commander of its armed wing as the movement's overall leader in the Gaza Strip.
Yehiya Sinwar replaces Ismail Haniyeh, a former prime minister in the territory's Hamas-run government.
Mr Sinwar was jailed in Israel for murder but freed under a deal when Hamas released an Israeli in 2011.
Hamas rejects Israel's right to exist and Mr Sinwar is known to oppose any compromise with the Jewish state.
Some Hamas leaders have suggested a long truce with Israel if it completely withdraws to pre-1967 ceasefire lines and lifts its blockade of Gaza.
The movement's charter, however, calls for Israel's destruction and it is designated a terrorist group by Israel, the US, EU and other world powers.'
The use of the word 'hardline' I thought was interesting. a quick google of Yehiya Sinwar reveals that he's not just hardline:
'Fears are growing of an escalation in conflict in the Middle East after Hamas in Gaza elected a new leader who wants to improve links between the group and Isis.I've been arguing for some time that Hamas is no better than ISIS when it comes to being an Islamist terrorist organisation. Now it seems that the link might be more than theoretical. Of course many in the Labour Party see Hamas as 'friends' and proudly scream "we are all Hamas now" at anti-Israel protests, which makes it hard for the pro Labour Party/institutionally anti-Israel BBC to take a contrary view. So the BBC opt for ignoring the inconvenient fact that Hamas may be linking up with ISIS.
Yahya Sinwar, 55, who will succeed Ismail Haniyeh, 54, has also argued for prioritising links with Iran ahead of more moderate allies such as Egypt and the Gulf states.'
Later in the article I read something that I don't remember the BBC stating so clearly before, maybe my complaints have had an effect after all:
The BBC acknowledging that Egypt also blockades Gaza, we make progress. However the BBC also push the idea that this blockade is a form of 'collective punishment' when it's not and is a legitimate counter terrorism act, one step forward...
'Israel and Egypt maintain a blockade around Gaza aimed at preventing attacks by militants there, though the measure has been condemned by rights groups as a form of collective punishment.'
Unfortunately the BBC are back on the anti-Israel propaganda bandwagon immediately afterwards:
Shall we put some meat on those bare bones?
'Yehiya Sinwar was jailed for four life terms by Israel in 1989 for a series of offences, including murder and kidnapping.'
Here's the Times of Israel reporting on Yehiya Sinwar's conviction:
I wonder why the BBC want to minimise the descriptions of the crimes that Yehiya Sinwar was convicted for. Maybe the new Hamas leader deserves a second chance, after all he only killed those who collaborated with Israel.
The BBC's institutional anti-Israel coverage is incessant, I wonder what the Balen Report really said about it.

UK unemployment falls by 7,000 to 1.6m per BBC News who are looking for a line to attack these figures on
The BBC are devastated to have to report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-38979582 that:
'UK unemployment fell by 7,000 to 1.6m in three months to December, while average earnings rose 2.6%, figures show. '
An attack line will have to be formulated, the BBC cannot allow good economic news to be reported when there's a Conservative government in power.
A while back when unemployment fell we were told by the BBC that it didn't matter because average earnings were falling. Now unemployment is failing and average earnings are rising, I wonder what the problem will be? Zero hours contracts is my bet...
Female MP abuse 'puts women off politics' says Diane Abbott per BBC News
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38977784 informs us about one side of the incident last week:
'Women may be deterred from entering politics because of abuse suffered by female MPs, Diane Abbott says.
The shadow home secretary said she was speaking out about her own experiences after recently receiving a series of threats and insults.
Last week Brexit secretary David Davis was branded "sexist" for reportedly sending a text saying he would not hug Ms Abbott because he was "not blind".
His spokeswoman said he was "very sorry" for any offence caused.'
Oddly the pro Labour Party BBC don't find the space to report that prior to David Davis sending that text there was an incident in the House of Commons when David Davis congratulated Diane Abbott for supporting the Government bill on Article 50 only to be told to "fuck off" by the 'honourable lady'.
I suppose that the BBC don't want to sully the reputation of the pure of heart and mouth Diane Abbott...

The last line of this BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-38954293 has me puzzled:
'A man accused of having a pipe bomb in his hand luggage at Manchester Airport has appeared in court.
Nadeem Muhammed, 43, of Tinline Street, Bury, was stopped by security staff on 30 January.
He was questioned and then released by police, before his rearrest on Sunday.
The Pakistani national, charged with making or possessing an explosive under suspicious circumstances, was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on 13 March.
Katie McCreath, defending, indicated that he would be plead not guilty to the charge at a future hearing.
Jessica Hart, prosecuting, said the case would not be proceeding under the terrorism protocol.'
He is alleged to have had a pipe bomb in his luggage. Other than terrorism what could the motive possibly have been?
What's sauce for the racist goose is not sauce for the racist gander
What would happen to a white politician who said that "black skin is sub-humxn."...."Black ppl are recessive genetic defects. this is factual"?
The media would scream RACIST and hound them until they were forced out of public life. This would happen in the USA, in the UK where the BBC would lead the attacks, and of course in ever so politically correct Canada.
It would seem that this may not be the case when it's a black lives matter activist in Canada abusing white people.
'She also faced controversy in the news for a tweet posted a year ago stating: "Plz Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today."
While these remarks alarmed many Canadians, they pale in comparison to a statement numerous sources forwarded to the Sun that Khogali appears to have posted on Facebook in late 2015.
"Whiteness is not humxness," the statement begins. "infact, white skin is sub-humxn." The post goes on to present a genetics-based argument centred on melanin and enzyme.
"White ppl are recessive genetic defects. this is factual," the post reads towards the end. "white ppl need white supremacy as a mechanism to protect their survival as a people because all they can do is produce themselves. black ppl simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to."'
You can read more about this here http://m.torontosun.com/2017/02/11/black-lives-matter-co-founder-appears-to-label-white-people-defects but somehow I doubt that the story will be reported by the BBC.

Passengers leave plane as pilot 'rants' about divorce and Trump per BBC News
The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38948711 that:
'Passengers leave plane as pilot 'rants' about divorce and Trump
United Airlines removed a pilot from a flight bound for San Francisco from Austin, Texas on Saturday after the pilot's behaviour alarmed passengers.'
Unfortunately nobody is removing from the airwaves the BBC 'journalists' who are pushing an anti President Donald Trump agenda day after day after day.

Is the BBC biased?: Hugh Sykes on trial
This piece http://isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/hugh-on-trial.html by Craig at the wonderfully detailed isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk provides a full transcript of the BBC Feedback section that I picked up on in my piece here http://notasheepmaybeagoat.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/hugh-sykes-ignorant-or-deliberately.html
The transcript lays out Hugh Sykes' discomfort for your reading pleasure.
Is the BBC biased?: Hugh Pym says the BBC got it about right
The BBC's relentless attacks on the Conservative government over the NHS for the last week or so has been hard to ignore. Attacks that neatly tie up with the Labour Party's best chance of garnering support.
So I was intrigued to read this piece http://isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/hugh-pym-says-bbc-got-it-about-right.html at the wonderful isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk. It records the views of the BBC's Hugh Pym, you won't be amazed to learn that he thinks that the BBC had not been partial in its reporting, here's an extract:
'SAMIRA AHMED: Some complaints have been that it's felt the BBC has been politically campaigning and saying this is all about more funding for the NHS.
HUGH PYM: Well, there is a groundswell of opinion that the NHS should have more funding, that health spending in the UK as a whole as a share of national income is below France and Germany, has fallen. The IFS during the week have made clear that spending will fall in a way it has never done before in terms of spending per head of the population. We have taken those arguments and put them forward. We've been accused in the past of not addressing lack of funding. We haven't been politicising it. We've stated what the facts are, and there is actually a cross-party move now campaigning for more funding. Equally, we have been very clear that there are some who feel the NHS could make more efficient use of its resources and we have reflected that argument, that it's not just about money, it's about better ways of joining up care, better ways of spending money. But it is an important debate and I think it's only right to address the issue of funding throughout the week. '
It's odd how this alleged "groundswell of opinion" is a good thing but votes against Brexit or pro President Donald Trump are unfortunate manifestations of populism.
John Bercow 'impartial' despite Remain vote per BBC News
John Bercow has been revealed as being anti Brexit, anti President Donald Trump and pro immigration, something tells me that the BBC will definitely not be saying that he's not impartial.
Imagine that the House of Commons speaker had been revealed as being pro Brexit, pro President Donald Trump and anti unfettered immigration. Something tells me that the BBC would be casting doubts as to his suitability for the impartial role of Speaker.
Remember that the BBC is also meant to be politically impartial, but isn't.
You can read more about the BBC and John Bercow here on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38947257
If you want to know more about John Bercow then Saturday's Times might be of interest... The BBC will definitely not be reporting that piece of news linking John Bercow and Keith Vaz.

A Danish reporter tries to interview ANTIFA, so the left shows its true values
Lefty types chasing a Jew down the streets of Norrebro whilst screaming "Nazi Jew"! That's partially the result of much of the media, including the institutionally anti Israel BBC, calling Israelis (and by extension Jews) Nazis, it's given an excuse to anti Semitic lefty types.

Hugh Sykes - ignorant or deliberately misleading?
Today's Feedback http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08cvmh0b08cvmh0b08cvmh0 included a piece criticising a Hugh Sykes report about President Donald Trump's Executive Order temporarily restricting immigration from seven countries that have been linked with terrorism. The piece was quite amusing as Hugh Sykes is rarely criticised for being insufficiently pro Islam or immigration, so it was quite fun to hear him dancing around to try and prove his PC credentials.
However what really struck me was his comment from 6:30 to 6:38 that he's heard many Muslim leaders say that these (terrorists) aren't true Muslims:
'If you kill an innocent person it's like killing the whole of humanity, which is roughly speaking a quote from the Koran.'
The problem is that that quotation is somewhat longer than Hugh Sykes makes out, and in full means something somewhat different. The quotation is from Sura 5:32 which in full says:
'On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.'
So clearly 5:32 is a commandment to the Children of Israel, the Jews, not Muslims.
However even if you ignore the first part of the Sura that specifically refers to the Jews, the commandment goes on "unless it be for murder or spreading mischief in the land." If someone is "spreading mischief", he can still be killed. Islamist terrorists believe that Americans, British, French etc. are spreading mischief in Palestine and around the world, so even if this verse were to apply to non Jews, they would still be justified in slaughtering those "spreading mischief".
So the question is: does Hugh Sykes not know what the whole Sura that quotation comes from says or does he know but would rather we don't know?
Adjusting the temperature to fit the theory
'The supposed global temperature in 1910 has been mysteriously cooling over the past eight years, while that of 2000 has been mysteriously warming — which creates a steeper curve, though still not steep enough. This is known as fake news.'
More here http://www.spectator.co.uk/2017/02/why-dont-the-eus-pensioners-in-the-lords-have-to-declare-their-interest/ and at other reliable climate change websites, but obviously not on the warmist BBC.
Why don't the EU's pensioners in the Lords have to declare their interest?
The fact that Peers such as Lord Mandleson have large EU pensions which are at risk if they oppose the EU is something that I have blogged about before. So I was interested to read Matt Ridley's piece in the Spectator http://www.spectator.co.uk/2017/02/why-dont-the-eus-pensioners-in-the-lords-have-to-declare-their-interest/
'... Peers are obliged to declare any interest that 'might be thought by a reasonable member of the public' to influence the way they discharge their parliamentary duties — unless it is an EU pension.
In 2007, a Lords subcommittee said that because their contracts oblige them to support the EU, an EC pensioner who made 'intemperate criticism of the commission' would have contravened their obligations under the Treaty of Rome 'and therefore could in theory damage his pension'.
Nonetheless, the subcommittee concluded, in a magnificent non sequitur, 'There was no doubt of the integrity of the members of the House who had served as EU commissioners and it would be distasteful to call on them to declare their interest when speaking.' Distasteful!'
Integrity and Peter Mandleson? Well it's possible I suppose.
Distasteful and Peter Mandleson? Certainly.
An unbiased news organisation would at least mention the above possible conflict of interest when interviewing the likes of Peter Mandleson and Neil Kinnock, so that explains why the BBC don't say a word about it.
Trey Gowdy questions Hillary Clinton during the Benghazi hearings
I've watched this footage before, I believe that I've posted it here too.
Do watch the whole video but pay great attention to Hillary Clinton's face and listen to her voice between 3:40 and 6:05 and especially between 6:05 and 7:33.
If Abraham Lincoln earned the nickname 'Honest Abe' what should Hillary Clinton's nickname be?
BBC World Service - Newsday, Thousands Hanged At Syria Prison - Amnesty - Was there really no investigation by the BBC of the claims?
This BBC World Service programme http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04rcyyz has the lead in text 'A new report by Amnesty International alleges that mass hangings took place every week at Saydnaya prison between September 2011 and December 2015'.
Is that true? What is the source for those figures?
If you're interested in the truth, the BBC clearly aren't, then take a read of this http://newobserveronline.com/amnesty-internationals-syria-report-made-nonsense/ here's an extract:
'A close reading of the report, however, reveals that Amnesty International in fact only claims to have the names of 36 people executed at the prison, and has based the "5,000 to 13,000" figure on a purely theoretical extrapolation drawn from anonymous statements made by opponents of the Assad government—with absolutely no backing evidence whatsoever.'
Do read the whole of that New Observer Online article, my jaw dropped more than once.
Are the BBC really not interested in fact checking news that fits in with their prejudices? I think we know the answer to that question.
The Sorry Truth Is That the Virus of Anti-Semitism Has Infected the British Muslim Community per Mehdi Hasan in The Huffington Post
'It pains me to have to admit this but anti-Semitism isn't just tolerated in some sections of the British Muslim community; it's routine and commonplace. Any Muslims reading this article - if they are honest with themselves - will know instantly what I am referring to. It's our dirty little secret. You could call it the banality of Muslim anti-Semitism.
I can't keep count of the number of Muslims I have come across - from close friends and relatives to perfect strangers - for whom weird and wacky anti-Semitic conspiracy theories are the default explanation for a range of national and international events. Who killed Diana and Dodi? The Mossad, say many Muslims. They didn't want the British heir to the throne having an Arab stepfather. What about 9/11? Definitely those damn Yehudis. I mean, why else were 4,000 Jews in New York told to stay home from work on the morning of 11 September 2001? How about the financial crisis? Er, Jewish bankers. Obviously. Oh, and the Holocaust? Don't be silly. Never happened.
Growing up, I always assumed that this obsession with 'the Jews' was a hallmark of the 'first-generation' immigrants from the subcontinent. In recent years, I've been depressed to discover that there are plenty of 'second-generation' Muslim youths, born and bred in multiracial Britain, who have drunk the anti-Semitic Kool-Aid. I'm often attacked by them for working in the "Jewish owned media".
The truth is that the virus of anti-Semitism has infected members of the British Muslim community, both young and old. No, the on-going Israel-Palestine conflict hasn't helped matters. But this goes beyond the Middle East. How else to explain why British Pakistanis are so often the most ardent advocates of anti-Semitic conspiracies, even though there are so few Jews living in Pakistan?
It is sheer hypocrisy for Muslims to complain of Islamophobia in every nook and cranny of British public life, to denounce the newspapers for running Muslim-baiting headlines, and yet ignore the rampant anti-Semitism in our own backyard. We cannot credibly fight Islamophobia while making excuses for Judaeophobia.
...
The time has come for us to own up to a rather shameful fact: Muslims are not only the victims of racial and religious prejudice but purveyors of it, too.'
This post from the Huffington Post's UK political director Mehdi Hasan is from a few years ago and deserves repeat reading.
I presume that he thinks it was terribly brave to write such an article, you can read the whole piece here http://www.huffpost.com/uk/entry/2922013 , however nowhere in his musings does he ponder what causes the rampant anti Semitisn that infects so much of British, and other, Islam.
Would pointing a finger at the Koran have been a step too far? Or does Mehdi Hasan not think the blame lies there? If he doesn't blame the Koran, what does he blame?

'The Left Hates You. Act Accordingly' per Kurt Schlichter
This article http://m.townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2017/02/06/the-left-hates-you-act-accordingly-n2281602 contains much of interest to anyone not infected by one of the diseases of leftism, warmism or social justicism.
Here's an extract that is pretty hard to argue with:
'They hate you.Leftists don't merely disagree with you. They don't merely feel you are misguided. They don't think you are merely wrong. They hate you. They want you enslaved and obedient, if not dead. Once you get that, everything that is happening now will make sense. And you will understand what you need to be ready to do.You are normal, and therefore a heretic. You refuse to bow to their idols, to subscribe to their twisted catechisms, to praise their false gods. This is unforgivable. You must burn.
Crazy talk? Just ask them. Go ahead. Go on social media. Find a leftist...
Understand that when they call Donald Trump "illegitimate," what they are really saying is that our desire to govern ourselves is illegitimate. Their beef isn't with him – it's with us, the normal people who dared rise up and demand their right to participate in the rule of this country and this culture.
But all the leftist sects agree – they have found the revealed truth, and imposing it upon the benighted normals like us is so transcendently important that they are relieved of any moral limitations. They are ISIS, except with hashtags instead of AKs, committed to the establishment of a leftist caliphate.
You wonder why the left is now justifying violence? Because they think that helps them right now. Today it's suddenly OK to punch a "Nazi." But the punchline is that anyone who opposes them is a "Nazi."
You wonder why they ignore the rule of law, why they could switch on a dime from screaming at Trump for refusing to preemptively legitimize a Hillary win and then scream that he is illegitimate the moment she lost? Because their only principle is what helps the left win today.
That's why the media gleefully, happily lies every single day about every single thing it reports. Objectivity? When that stopped being a useful thing, it stopped being a thing at all.'
A&E figures for January 'worst ever', leaked data suggests per BBC News
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-38907492 on NHS A&E waiting times includes this passage:
'The Royal College of Emergency Medicine said their figures backed up those seen by the BBC.
Vice-president Dr Chris Moulton said: "While increasing numbers of doctors is vital, the more pressing problem is a lack of beds.
"We simply do not have any more room to put patients - we have the lowest number of acute beds per capita in Europe.'
This is the closest that the BBC report gets to looking at why demand for A&E beds is so high, and thus why the number of beds related to the population is so low.
Would the ratio of acute beds to population be so low if the post 1997 flood of immigration had not have happened? The BBC are pushing the blame onto the current Conservative government for not supplying enough resources to the NHS, whilst deliberately ignoring the increase in demand due to the massive increase in population from immigration. I would ask why but you all know the reasons.

Donald Trump from 1987 Why Are We Protecting Saudi Arabia?
So President Donald Trump has had at least some of his views for almost 30 years.
Pat Condell- Why if you have an ounce of humanity you should support Israel
This video is for the anti Semitic scum that used to infect my Twitter account and the anti Semitic scum I encounter on the web every day.
It's also for the so called journalists at the institutionally anti Israel BBC, The Guardian newspaper and the The Independent (formerly a newspaper).
Former NOAA Scientist Confirms Colleagues Manipulated Climate Records per Committee on Science, Space, and Technology
The manipulation of data to arrive at desired conclusions is not science. However don't expect the warmists at the BBC to report on this inconvenient truth.
'In the summer of 2015, NOAA scientists published the Karl study, which retroactively altered historical climate change data and resulted in the elimination of a well-known climate phenomenon known as the "climate change hiatus." The hiatus was a period between 1998 and 2013 during which the rate of global temperature growth slowed. This fact has always been a thorn in the side of climate change alarmists, as it became difficult to disprove the slowdown in warming. The Karl study refuted the hiatus and rewrote climate change history to claim that warming had in fact been occurring. The committee heard from scientists who raised concerns about the study's methodologies, readiness, and politicization. In response, the committee conducted oversight and sent NOAA inquiries to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Karl study. Over the course of the committee's oversight, NOAA refused to comply with the inquiries, baselessly arguing that Congress is not authorized to request communications from federal scientists. This culminated in the issuance of a congressional subpoena, with which NOAA also failed to comply. During the course of the investigation, the committee heard from whistleblowers who confirmed that, among other flaws in the study, it was rushed for publication to support President Obama's climate change agenda.'
The refusal of the NOAA to release information reminds me of the BBC's refusal to release the Balen Report into the BBC's bias in reporting on Israel.
There's more about the NOAA here https://science.house.gov/news/press-releases/former-noaa-scientist-confirms-colleagues-manipulated-climate-records

Sebastian Gorka during the US Presidential Election campaign - "The war is real and the war is here"
You want to know why Donald Trump won the US Presidential Election, it was interviews like this one.
The American people had had enough of the two coast elites telling them what was the 'compassionate' thing to do. The majority of Americans want to live safely and Hillary Clinton's immigration policy was not going to lead to that.
Sebastian Gorka makes a ridiculous comment in this video
Sebastian Gorka doesn't expect that sort of question from the BBC? Really?
Sebastian Gorka should realise that the BBC specialise in straw man arguments, ad hominem attacks and blatant propagandising on behalf of their left wing beliefs.
The question that he was asked is precisely the sort of question that he should have expected to be asked by the BBC.
World leaders duped by manipulated global warming data per Daily Mail Online
Here's some climate change news that you won't find reported by the warmists at the BBC.
'The Mail on Sunday today reveals astonishing evidence that the organisation that is the world's leading source of climate data rushed to publish a landmark paper that exaggerated global warming and was timed to influence the historic Paris Agreement on climate change.
A high-level whistleblower has told this newspaper that America's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) breached its own rules on scientific integrity when it published the sensational but flawed report, aimed at making the maximum possible impact on world leaders including Barack Obama and David Cameron at the UN climate conference in Paris in 2015.
The report claimed that the 'pause' or 'slowdown' in global warming in the period since 1998 – revealed by UN scientists in 2013 – never existed, and that world temperatures had been rising faster than scientists expected. Launched by NOAA with a public relations fanfare, it was splashed across the world's media, and cited repeatedly by politicians and policy makers.
But the whistleblower, Dr John Bates, a top NOAA scientist with an impeccable reputation, has shown The Mail on Sunday irrefutable evidence that the paper was based on misleading, 'unverified' data.
It was never subjected to NOAA's rigorous internal evaluation process – which Dr Bates devised.
His vehement objections to the publication of the faulty data were overridden by his NOAA superiors in what he describes as a 'blatant attempt to intensify the impact' of what became known as the Pausebuster paper.'
More about this here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4192182/World-leaders-duped-manipulated-global-warming-data.html but never ever on the BBC for whom warmist belief is close to being a religion.

In Saturday's Times Ken Clarke says "It's absurd to say 16m who voted Remain have no voice".
Imagine that the EU Referendum had resulted in 17m for Remain and 16m for Leave, do you think that Ken Clarke would think that the 16m who voted leave should have a voice.
Imagine that the EU Referendum had resulted in 17m for Remain and 16m for Leave, do you think that the BBC would think that the 16m who voted Leave should be given as much airtime as they accord Remain supporters now?

Former Chaplain to the Queen: UK Cities Could Soon Be Islamic
More from that Breitbart article http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/02/03/former-chaplain-queen-britain-islamic-generations/
'... at an inter-faith conference in 2003, an imam he describes as an "eminently serious scholar" stood up and said: "The UK is going to be an Islamic republic in the time of my grandchildren, and I don't need to do anything about it, it's just going to happen"."
If you look at your five northern conurbations," the imam added, "already the majority of people under 16 are Muslim." He said that those people would elect Muslim mayors who in turn would feel democratic pressure to introduce Sharia practices.
Rev Ashenden said that afterwards he googled the imam's claims and found that everything he mentioned about demographics was true. "Mix demography and democracy and you're going to have Islamic city states in the UK very quickly," Rev Ashenden added.'
It's our future, like it or not.
I'd forgotten that this wrinkle might apply to the Scottish cathedral allowing Muslim prayers to be said in it
Remember the fuss over the Scottish cathedral that allowed Islamic prayers to be said in it? Presumably this was to show how open minded, tolerant and multicultural they were?
This Breitbart article http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/02/03/former-chaplain-queen-britain-islamic-generations/ reminded me that:
'... many Muslims would be bewildered by the cathedral's decision to host such a reading, as according to Islam once a place is used for Islamic prayer it then becomes permanently Islamic.'
Open minded or empty headed? Tolerant or dhimmified? Multicultural or cultural suicide?
Read the rest of the Breitbart linked article for an insight into the Islamic future of the UK and by extension Europe.
Bleeding Germany dry?
'Migrants and asylum seekers cost Germany's federal government €21.7 billion (£18.2 billion) in 2016, according to a Finance Ministry report published last week. The latest data is thought to reveal only around half of the true cost to German taxpayers. State and municipal governments expect to fork out around €21 billion ( (£18.1 billion) a year, rising to €30 billion (£25.9 billion) by 2020, on migrants' cost of living.'

Germany: 'Almost All Asylum Seekers Allowed to Stay Permanently' - No Shit Sherlock
'... the majority of migrants granted asylum end up as permanent residents of Germany, despite Chancellor Angela Merkel'sinsistence last January that most migrants granted asylum would only be able to stay for a limited period of time.'
No Shit Sherlock...

Trump travel ban: Seattle judge issues nationwide block versus Egyptian national tried to carry out a terrorist attack in Paris - the BBC can't connect the two
The BBC are exultant that President Donald Trump has had his restrictions on entry into the USA from seven countries put in doubt by a Federal Judge.
Yet they also report that:
'French authorities say they believe the man who tried to attack the Louvre museum in the capital Paris on Friday was a 29-year-old Egyptian man.Prosecutor Francois Molins said he is thought to have travelled to Paris from Dubai on a tourist visa last month.'
Have the BBC considered that Europeans and indeed Americans might be safer from Islamist terror attack if people from countries that harbour or create such terrorists were checked much more thoroughly before they were allowed into Europe and America.
It is also conceivable that many Europeans and Americans might feel even safer if entry from such countries was made very very difficult indeed.
That would still leave Europe and America with the problem of terrorists from other countries and home grown ones too, but one step at a time...
Friday, 3 February 2017
The funniest thing I've read today, or not...
'The BBC is required to deliver duly impartial news by the Royal Charter and Agreement, and impartiality has for the first time been enshrined in the BBC's mission in the new Charter. The government agrees that it is vitally important that accurate and impartial news is at the centre of the BBC's output.'
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
The above would be absolutely bloody hysterical were the BBC's relentless bias not so obvious and so detrimental to the interests of the UK and elsewhere in the civilised world.
US announces new sanctions against Iran and President Donald Trump hits the nail on the head
"Iran is playing with fire - they don't appreciate how 'kind' President Obama was to them. Not me!" said President Donald Trump.
So why was Barack Hussein Obama so 'kind' to the Islamic State of Iran?
Did Diane Abbott have 'Brexit flu'? Per BBC News
Imagine that a senior Conservative politician had ducked out of a House of Commons vote, claiming to be sick. Imagine that Guido Fawkes and others had video of her in action not long before the vote. How much attention would the BBC have paid to this? How much deep investigation of this Conservative politician would Today, Newsnight etc have conducted?
Now see what happens when probably the third most senior Labour Party politician, Diane Abbott does just that?
Here's about the only BBC report that I can find http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-38840352
Pathetic but why should one expect better of the media wing of the Labour Party?
Kuwait imposes visa ban on five Muslim-majority nations including Pakistan not you'd know this if you relied upon the pro Islamist and hideously anti President Donald Trump BBC
The BBC are up in arms about President Donald Trump instituting a temporary ban on entering the USA for citizens of seven countries that have links to terrorism.
Oddly the BBC have not reported that Kuwait has instituted a similar policy re Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Theresa May presses EU leaders on defence spending per BBC News
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38849868 includes this comment:
'Nato estimates for 2016 show that only five alliance members - the US, UK, Greece, Poland and Estonia - will spend a minimum of 2% of national output (GDP) on defence, which is the target.'
Reading on it is odd that the BBC aren't at all exercised by countries not meeting their NATO defence spending targets but really really angry at any suggestion that the UK not meet its International Development budget.
I suppose that for the internationalist, no Borders, BBC, defence of the realm is less important than transferring money from UK taxpayers to the rich elite of third world countries. Mercedes Benz dealers need that money...
Shooting incident at Louvre in Paris per BBC News
Apparently http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-38853841
'A French soldier on guard at the Louvre in Paris has opened fire on a suspected attacker, media reports say.
A man shouting "Allahu Akbar" is reported to have tried to attack the soldier with a knife and was seriously injured when the soldier responded.
The attacker is said to have been trying to enter the museum's underground shop.
A big security operation is under way and the interior ministry has described the situation as "serious".
The Louvre has been evacuated.
Details of the incident are still emerging.
A French police spokesman said the attacker shouted "Allahu Akbar" - God is great in Arabic - but was not carrying explosives.
Reports say the attacker was carrying one, possibly two suitcases.
Another says he wore a rucksack and carried a machete.'
How long before we hear the following phrases:
Lone wolf
Misunderstander of Islam
Mental health issues
Fear of Islamophobic backlash
News you won't find on the BBC - Palestinian Woman Injures Three Israelis in Car-Ramming Attack Near Jerusalem
Whilst the institutionally anti Israel BBC continue their campaign to delegitimise and vilify Israel, there's yet another biased report on Jewish settlements online today, other news won't be reported at all.
Breitbart report http://www.breitbart.com/jerusalem/2017/02/02/palestinian-woman-injures-three-israelis-car-ramming-attack-near-jerusalem/ on another attack in Israel where the attacker injured three civilians who have been evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment.
This sort of attack is of little interest to the BBC for whom injured or dead Jewish Israelis are irrelevant to the furtherance of the cause of the Palestinian people.
Turkey Bans Footage of Terror Attacks and the Phrase 'Breaking News' from TV per Breitbart
If you cannot stop the terrorism then stop the reporting.
Breitbart reports http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/02/02/turkey-limits-tv-broadcasts-terrorism-news/ that:
'Turkey's broadcasting oversight agency has enacted a new set of regulations that prohibit news outlets from broadcasting footage of terrorist attacks, including images of police and emergency vehicles, and bans the phrase "breaking news" and other "agitating" content.
The newspaper Hurriyet has translated into English many of these new measures, which follow a renewed push by Turkish authorities to promote the nation's tourism industry. A string of terrorist attacks by the Islamic State and Marxist Kurdish groups have significantly impacted the nation's previously thriving tourist sector.
According to Hurriyet, Turkey's Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has decreed that news tickers may no longer show the words "breaking news," and "criticism and commentary" on broadcasts alerting viewers to a terrorist attack are now banned. The regulations prohibit broadcasting any "exaggerated statements involving agitation" and images of the attack itself unless the government specifically provides for such broadcast. Harriet adds that images of "fire department vehicles, police vehicles, ambulance footage, witness accounts, officials at the scene, and evidence-collecting work" are also banned.'

Bank of England sharply raises 2017 growth outlook per BBC News
This BBC report http://www.bbc.com/news/business-38841747 is given through clenched teeth...
'The Bank of England has made another dramatic rise in its growth forecast for this year.It expects the economy to grow 2% in 2017, up from a November forecast of 1.4%, which was itself an upgrade from the 0.8% forecast made in August.'
Project Fear, as willingly spread by the institutionally pro EU BBC, really was a crock of sh*t.
Most Britons back Donald Trump's planned state visit to UK, poll finds per The Times via the London Evening Standard
Despite the BBC's relentless anti President Donald Trump propaganda it seems that the British public are not buying it.
The London Evening Standard reports http://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/most-britons-back-donald-trumps-planned-state-visit-to-uk-poll-finds-a3455216.html on a YouGov opinion poll for The Times that will definitely not be reported by the BBC.
'Most Britons back Donald Trump's planned state visit toBritain, a poll has found. The survey, conducted by YouGov for The Times, found 49 per cent of the British public supported Mr Trump's UK visit with 36 per cent opposed.'
The BBC will just have to increase the anti President Donald Trump message.
An inconvenient truth
This BBC report htttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-38837263 includes what should raise questions but won't.
'All of the occupants of Manus Island are male. By far the largest number are from Iran, followed by Afghanistan and Iraq. There are also sizeable contingents from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar.'
Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar - Refugees or economic migrants? What do you think?
Smuggling Migrants to Europe Now a Major Funding Source for Islamic State per Breitbart
News that you'll never find reported on the pro unlimited immigration BBC. This from Breitbart http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/02/01/smuggling-migrants-funding-islamic-state/
'Nearly 400,000 migrants reached Europe by sea in 2016, and more than 5,000 are believed to have died attempting the journey, aid agencies estimate.
In 2015 the then Prime Minister of Australia, Tony Abbott, urged the European Union (EU) to turn boats back to Africa, saying: "If you want to keep life safe, you've got to keep the boats stopped."
"The great thing about Operation Sovereign Borders is that, in stopping the boats, we have stopped the deaths," he added.
However, European Commission spokesman Natasha Bertaud said the Australian model "can never be a model" for the EU, as it would violate international obligations.'
400,000 in one year and there's millions more who want to come too. How many before Natasha Bertaud will concede that maybe too many have come? Or is there no limit? Will anyone ask this European Commission spokesman, or would that be considered rude?
I have read many times that this massive Muslim immigration from the Middle East and North Africa is part of a deliberate plan to partly replace the European population and to breakdown national sentiment. Previously I considered this possible but not likely, a conspiracy theory, now I am not so sure...
UC Berkeley cancels Breitbart speaker as students protest per BBC News
The BBC are keen to cast aspersions http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38837142 on any supporter of President Donald Trump.
'Mr Yiannopoulos is an outspoken supporter of President Trump.
...
Mr Yiannopoulos's comments have been criticised as racist and misogynist.'
Oddly strong supporters of Hillary Clinton were not described as outspoken.
Oddly Islamist preachers who explain how hard a husband may beat his wife is not described by the BBC as a misogynist.
The BBC's political prejudices are easy to spot but much harder to excuse.
Anti-Semitic hate crime at record high, says UK charity per BBC News
Apparently:
'The CST, which has recorded data since 1984, said a perceived increase in racism and xenophobia following the EU referendum and greater discussion of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party could explain the rise.'
That's it, blame Brexit but shh don't mention a religion that spreads hatred of Jews. Not a single mention of Islam, how odd.
More obfuscation here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-38836536

There's an interesting nugget of information in this BBC report on the NHS overseas patient's £330,000 unpaid bill - yes a Nigerian maternity patient
Did you realise this?
'Some patients, such as refugees and those applying for asylum, are exempt from charges.'
Why?
Is the BBC biased?: Dreams destroyed
Sometimes I wonder why I bother blogging! I've been mulling for quite a while writing a post about the BBC'a relentless anti President Donald Trump output. But before I can write it, I find that the wonderful isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk have done the analysis and transcription.
So just go here... http://isthebbcbiased.blogspot.in/2017/01/dreams-destroyed.html
Maybe I should give up blogging and just post a link to isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk here instead!
Is the BBC biased? Tim Marshall may not be!
A fascinating revelation at the wonderful isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk here http://isthebbcbiased.blogspot.in/2017/01/from-another-planet-to-bbc.html
There may be a senior British newsman who actually sees through the left and it's anti Trump bile. He's also not scared to tell the truth.
Tim Marshall take a bow. How long before pressure is applied to you?
