BBC identity politics re Sajid Javid's appointment as Home Secretary

The BBC headline here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news following Sajid Javid being appointed Home Secretary has just one sentence as the lead-in:

'The son of a Pakistani bus driver replaces Amber Rudd after she quits amid the Windrush scandal.

Some thoughts:
The BBC have got their scalp.

The BBC can now now move on to going for Theresa May's scalp.

Isn't the assumption that Sajid Javid has achieved nothing in his life other than having a father who was a Pakistani bus driver not a little racist? Has he not achieved success off of his own bat as well.

Surely Sajid Javid's father was a bus driver in this country and so would less racistly be described as a bus driver of Pakistani heritage.

Why are the BBC obsessed with politicians who are the sons of 'Pakistani bus drivers'? Sadiq Khan and Sajid Javid.

I quite like Sajid Javid, he came over well in the Labour antisemitism debate and although a Remainer is not a Remoaner and has seemed to be working towards Brexit rather than trying to derail the process like others. So whilst this doesn't address the pro Remain majority in the Cabinet it is a slight move to realism. It also boosts the likelihood that Sajid Javid becomes the next, or next but one, Conservative Party leader. The Conservatives will then have had two women leaders and one BAME leader, whilst the Labour Party seem to prefer being lead by the intellectually challenged.

Diane Abbott failing miserably to answer Piers Morgan's straight question re illegal immigration

https://youtu.be/2KMh_WlrZT0

Watch the video and at 0:23 and 2:01 you can almost hear Diane Abbott's brain trying to get into first gear. It's a sound you can hear again and again when Diane Abbott is asked a question any more challenging than what's 2 plus 2. It's unbelievable that this woman has such a senior shadow cabinet role and could one day be Home Secretary.

UKIP Leader Claims Islam ‘Inherently Anti-Semitic,’ Labour Pander to Muslim voters

'UKIP's leader has said Islam is "inherently anti-Semitic" and the Labour party has a problem with anti-Jewish prejudice because they rely on Muslim voters.

Gerard Batten MEP made the strong, controversial statement on ITV's main Sunday morning politics show, shocking presenter Robert Peston, who said he wanted to "challenge" him — before promptly ending the interview.''

I wonder what aspect of Gerard Batten's statement Robert Peston was going to challenge. Was it that Islam is 'inherently antisemitic'? I wonder if Robert Peston has read the Koran. Or was it the claim that Labour relies upon Muslim voters in certain areas? It would be interesting to know which angle Robert Peston was going to take and why he didn't.

Twitter bots tried to swing general election, new evidence

New evidence has emerged that Russian Twitter bots did try to swing the last British General Election. This is a huge story and the BBC incessantly ran the allegations about Russian Twitter bots trying to swing the Brexit vote. However The Sunday Times https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/exposed-russian-twitter-bots-tried-to-swing-general-election-for-jeremy-corbyn-zffv8652x story is not something that the BBC want to report:

'The first evidence of Russian attempts to influence the result of the general election by promoting the Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, has emerged in a ground-breaking investigation into social media by this newspaper.

Our research, in conjunction with Swansea University, discovered that 6,500 Russian Twitter accounts rallied behind Labour in the weeks before last year's election, helping supportive messages to reach millions of voters and denigrating its Conservative rivals.'

Now that's not something that the BBC will report, not part of the agreed narrative at all.

I'd say that it was amazing that the BBC are selectively reporting on Russian Twitter bots but the BBC are so biased against Brexit and pro the Labour that their selective reporting is entirely predictable.

'Elections voter ID scheme 'deeply flawed'' as is the BBC's coverage

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43932073 is apparently designed to fool the casual reader who likely reads the headline and the first few sentences and moves on. Such a reader would only read that:

'Elections voter ID scheme 'deeply flawed'

Government plans to make people prove their identity before voting are "deeply flawed", the Electoral Reform Society (ERS) has warned.

The scheme, which is being piloted in Bromley, Gosport, Swindon, Watford and Woking for the local elections on 3 May, is designed to combat voter fraud.

But the ERS says the new system could be a "calculated effort" to make voting harder for some citizens.

Voter ID fraud was "incredibly rare", it said.'

The casual reader would tut at the unfairness, unfairness that had been confirmed by the' Electoral Reform Society', which sounds like an official organisation.

If this reader continued then they'd get more details about the unfairness:

'The claim comes after a leaked letter from the Equality and Human Rights Commission warned the change could have a "disproportionate impact" on voters from minority groups, who may not possess appropriate ID.

"With millions of people lacking the right photographic ID - and no government plans for a universal, free alternative - this can only mean another barrier for honest voters," said ERS chief executive Darren Hughes.

He added: "Mandatory voter ID is a sledgehammer to crack a nut. It's time for an evidence-based approach instead."'

The casual reader would now be incensed and ready to go out to vote Labour in next week's local elections.

Only if one perseveres and reads on does one discover that:

'The ERS is part of a coalition of charities and campaign groups opposed to the plans, including Age UK, Stonewall, Liberty and the Salvation Army.'

So hardly unbiased, the warning comes from an organisation opposed to the plans.

Let's read on:

'On Monday, Cabinet Office minister Chloe Smith told the House of Commons no one would need to buy new ID documents to be able to vote.

"We already ask that people prove who they are in order to claim benefits, to rent a car or even to collect a parcel from the Post Office, so this is a proportionate and reasonable approach," Ms Smith told MPs.

"Democracy is precious and it is right to take that more robust approach to protect the integrity of the electoral process."'

Sounds reasonable, which is why the Labour Party approved line is presented first and the rebuttal and actual facts hidden away afterwards.

An unbiased news reporting organisation could, using the same words (flawed though some of them are), present this report starting:

'Elections voter ID scheme 'deeply flawed'

Government plans to make people prove their identity before voting are "deeply flawed", the Electoral Reform Society (ERS) has warned.

The ERS is part of a coalition of charities and campaign groups opposed to the plans, including Age UK, Stonewall, Liberty and the Salvation Army.

'On Monday, Cabinet Office minister Chloe Smith told the House of Commons no one would need to buy new ID documents to be able to vote.

"We already ask that people prove who they are in order to claim benefits, to rent a car or even to collect a parcel from the Post Office, so this is a proportionate and reasonable approach," Ms Smith told MPs.'

There's the claim put, the context about who's making the claim and the government's rebuttal. The rest of the original BBC article could then follow to give more details. Wouldn't that be fairer?

But then the BBC isn't interested in fairness but in protecting their precious Labour Party's votes and so ensuring more Labour councillors next week and a Labour government in a few years, maybe sooner.

Koreas summit

I have very little faith in the North Korean regime sticking to any agreement reached, about as much faith as I had in Iran sticking with their agreement. However my point is the huge difference between how the BBC praised Barack Obama for the Iran nuclear agreement compared to the lack of praise given to President Donald Trump for helping to bring about the North Korean talks. If it had been Barack Obama who had brought these talks about the BBC would have been lauding the sagacity of the sainted Obama. However as it's the hated President Donald Trump the BBC are barely mentioning his role.

The origins of Labour’s racism per Rod Liddle in The Spectator

This Spectator article by Rod Liddle is a must read. It sums up nicely the Labour Party's antisemitism problem.

This extract is most pertinent, especially the fact about the BDS's boycott of Israel being a boycott of Israeli Jews not all Israelis. This I was not aware of, will a BBC interviewer raise the question with all members and supporters from the Labour Party?

'... the rising tide of anti–Semitism within Labour was a consequence of its growing Muslim membership and also the radical, white, pro-Palestinian far left (which of course now runs the party). We know why the Muslims are anti-Jewish — it's all there in Muhammad's hadiths and in the Quran. But how have the whiteys got themselves transformed into racist bigots?

It has been a gradual journey for them, I think. It began with the left's Cold War allegiances (anti-Israel and anti-western) and was sharpened by the often virulent anti-Semitism which came out of the black liberation movement in the USA during the 1960s and 1970s, especially the Nation of Islam, which counted the now-revered (by liberal idiots) scumbag Malcolm X. And it is honed today by the poisonous stuff these halfwits pick up when they are hanging around the various pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel campaigns, both online and, weary-ingly, outside the Israeli embassy.

Take just one example: the BDS movement. This stands for Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions, and it aims to denude Israel and Israelis of money, prestige, recognition, employment and, in the end, its existence. The BDS will tell you that it is anti-Zionist, not anti-Jewish. But it is explicitly anti-Jewish. One of the things it has been quite successful in campaigning for is stopping Israeli academics taking up posts, or speaking, in western universities. It has been successful in this because paradoxically, you might think, our universities are stuffed with some of the most stupid people on God's earth and they have been cheerful signatories to this racism.

But BDS does not actually mean 'Israeli' academics. It means only Jewish academics. It is quite clear about this. Arabs who live in Israel are specifically exempted from their repulsive bullying: the boycott is just for the Jews. And the British far left, not terribly bright, goes along with this business and eventually starts parroting it itself, eventually recycling the old conspiracy myths, the blood libel, the Jews controlling everything.'

Rod Liddle article here https://www.spectator.co.uk/2018/04/the-origins-of-labours-racis  A lack of interest in asking Labour Party supporters of BDS about the organisation' s apparent antisemitic policies all over the institutionally anti Israel BBC.

'Wolf pack' jailed for sex attack in Spain

That's odd, a headline on the BBC news front page about a sex attack in Spain. Why would the BBC be reporting http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-43896880 with such prominence?

Ah, I see:

'Who are the men?

José Ángel Prenda, 28: considered the leader of the five, wrote a message in the WhatsApp group about the video showing them having sex with the woman. He had been sentenced to two years in prison in 2011 for theft with force

Antonio Manuel Guerrero: a Civil Guard police officer, born in 1989, is thought to have recorded six videos. He also admitted to stealing the victim's phone

Ángel Boza, 26: his criminal records include theft with force and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs

Alfonso Jesús Cabezuelo, 29: a military officer, is thought to have recorded one video

Jesús Escudero, 27: a hairdresser'

All Spanish names, no Muslim names, so time to go large on the reporting.

German Anti-Semitism Chief Tells Jews: Your Fears over Influx of Muslim, Arab Refugees Legitimate

'The German government's first special envoy to the Jewish community has warned that Jews' fear over the influx of Muslim, Arab refugees is legitimate.'

If it is legitimate for German Jews to fear the influx of Muslim, Arab refugees into Germany, is it also legitimate for British Jews to fear the influx of Muslim, Arab refugees into the UK? If not, why the difference? Could anyone ask that question of our political leaders and the opinion formers at the BBC?

More here at Breitbart
http://www.breitbart.com/jerusalem/2018/04/26/german-anti-semitism-chief-tells-jews-your-fears-over-influx-of-muslim-arab-refugees-legitimate/ but obviously not on the pro Muslim immigration BBC.

Labour 22 Points Ahead in London per Guido Fawkes

Guido Fawkes reports https://order-order.com/2018/04/26/labour-22-points-ahead-london/ that Labour have a 22 point lead in London ahead of the local government elections next week.

People will ask 'how can this be the case' with all the coverage of antisemitism issues in the Labour Party? However could it be possible that being seen as antisemitic, or at least as being soft on antisemitism, is helping the Labour Party in large parts of London?

Jewish Groups Say Labour Isn't Doing Enough To Stop Anti-Semitism

https://youtu.be/btEMYUnjehs

This video is from Good Morning Britain and Piers Morgan, not my favourite person, has two solid interviews with Barry Gardiner and Jonathan Goldstein. The former is his usual self, apologetic but unwilling to criticise his boss, Jeremy "quack quack" Corbyn. The latter is very good and makes a good point comparing Jeremy Corbyn's no nonsense, immediate response to the Windrush affair to his dilatory response to antisemitism in the Labour Party and unwillingness to make it clear where he stands, by actions not words.

Miles Goslett on the death of David Kelly

A fascinating article https://www.opendemocracy.net/uk/peter-oborne/inconvenient-book-miles-goslett-david-kelly-aaronovitch that doesn't help me to believe the official version re the death of David Kelly.

Here's an extract but do read the whole piece:

'I was a lobby journalist at the time and we took for granted the official account that Kelly killed himself by slashing the ulnar artery of his left wrist and swallowing a large number of Comproxamol painkiller tablets.

This is the territory that Goslett makes his own. He notes first of all the crucial fact that the government cancelled the coroner's inquest. This remains a strange decision. Both the Hutton Inquiry and the inquest could have gone on simultaneously. Evidence presented to a coroner is given under oath. Not so with the Hutton Inquiry, which was established on a non-statutory basis, meaning it had no legal powers and that witnesses could mislead Hutton without committing perjury.

This may help to explain why crucial witnesses weren't called and relevant information wasn't brought to light. The scientist's former colleague Mai Pedersen, who could have told Lord Hutton that Dr Kelly had damaged his right arm and was incapable of cutting steak, let alone cutting his left wrist, wasn't called.

Lord Hutton did not call John and Pamela Dabbs, friends of the Kellys who were some of the last people to see him alive in the days before his death.

Neither did he call the so-called "boat people", who were moored on the river next to where Dr Kelly was found the night that he died – the closest witnesses to where Dr Kelly was found.

He didn't call the police officer in charge of the investigation into Dr Kelly's disappearance, Chief Inspector Alan Young. He did not call Sergeant Simon Morris, the police officer who led the initial hunt for Dr Kelly. Hutton failed to discover that the knife Kelly supposedly used to cut his wrist had no fingerprints on it. Nor did some of the other items found beside the body including a water bottle, some empty pills packets, a watch, a pair of glasses and a mobile phone. All despite the fact, says Goslett, that Kelly was not wearing gloves that day and none were found with his body.

Neither did Lord Hutton call Judith Miller, an American journalist and acquaintance of Dr Kelly's to whom he wrote on the day of his death that there were 'many dark actors playing games.'

Nor did he call the man who briefed a team of volunteer searchers; the police photographer who could have shed invaluable insight into the position of Dr Kelly's body; 10 people who watched the autopsy; and a forensic biologist who went to the scene of the body. In the light of all this he makes the case there should be a full coroner's inquest to find out the truth of what happened. In the light of a mountain of evidence showing that Lord Hutton was negligent, it's impossible to argue with that.

Pointing out all these (and many other) failures and inconsistencies seems to me to be a valuable piece of investigative journalism... '

BBC spinning for Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43889678 continues to spin on behalf of Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party, emphasising the Jeremy Corbyn side of the argument.

Here's the other side:

'Jonathan Goldstein of the Jewish Leadership Council said Mr Corbyn "engages in conversation until you ask him to do something".

Mr Goldstein told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "When you ask him to do something he has this habit of staring and just shrugging."

He said Mr Corbyn seemed reluctant to "call out" people he knows and did not want to "own the words" around the anti-Semitism claims.'

That's because Jeremy Corbyn seemingly has more loyalty to the antisemites in the Labour Party than to a load of moaning Jews. The BBC by their incessant lies about Israel have poisoned the atmosphere against Jews, Jeremy Corbyn's issues are as much the BBC's.

The collapse of Jeremy Corbyn's antisemitism round table is telling per The Jewish Chronicle

This Jewish Chronicle article https://www.thejc.com/comment/comment/the-collapse-of-jeremy-corbyn-s-antisemitism-round-table-is-telling-1.462990 is a must read. This is the key part that antisemitism enablers like the BBC and Jeremy Corbyn should bloody well read and keep rereading until it sinks in.

'If the only way a person identifies as Jewish is in opposing the right of the State of Israel to exist, then I do begin to question the use of that Jewish identity.

I'm not saying they're not Jewish. I'm not suggesting they can't oppose the State of Israel. But they cannot claim to do so 'as a Jew', if they do absolutely nothing else, at all, ever, 'as a Jew'.

There are many ways to identify as Jewish. Jewish identity is not homogenous. It can be religious, or cultural, or familial, and many other things besides. But it does have to be something. If the only time a person calls upon their Jewish identity is in order to use it as a means of legitimising anti-Zionist philosophy, then I call BS.

You don't get to call your voice Jewish, if you only raise it to criticise Israel. (And yes, I am well aware that Hitler would have disagreed with my definition of Jewishness. But, unless I've read history wrong all these years, I'm pretty sure that disagreeing with Hitler is a good thing.)'

Understand?

Corbyn anti-Semitism meeting 'disappointing', Jewish leaders say per BBC News

'"We are disappointed that Mr Corbyn's proposals fell short of the minimum level of action which our letter suggested.

"Words in letters and newspaper articles will never be enough. We welcome the fact that Mr Corbyn's words have changed but it is action by which the Jewish community will judge him and the Labour Party."'

So said the Jewish organisations that met with Jeremy Corbyn. Well what were they expecting? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck.

More from the BBC here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43868922 3  No doubt some antisemitism excusers from the Labour Party will be quoted there soon: supporting Jeremy Corbyn, claiming that they've not ever experienced antisemitism in the Labour Party, quack, quack quack.

Jeremy Corbyn set for crunch meeting with Jewish leaders per BBC News

One section of this BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43868922 is pretty laughable:

'Mr Corbyn has himself been criticised for sending an apparently supportive message to the creator of an allegedly anti-Semitic mural in 2012.

In a message sent via Facebook, he had appeared to question a decision to remove the artist's controversial mural. He later called the mural "deeply disturbing" and backed its removal.'

'apparently supportive' - how was Jeremy Corbyn's original message anything anything other than supportive?

'allegedly anti-Semitic' - the Labour Party admitted that "However, the mural was offensive, used antisemitic imagery, which has no place in our society, and it is right that it was removed."  So why are the BBC saying that the mural was only 'allegedly anti-Semitic', who doesn't think that it is?

'appeared to question a decision to remove' - more weasel words from the BBC.

Why are the BBC so desperate to muddy the waters here, to raise doubts about what was said and about what the mural depicted? Why are the BBC so defensive, so protective, of Jeremy Corbyn?

Jeremy Corbyn has associated with antisemites for years; he's appeared on platforms with people who call for the destruction of the world's only Jewish state, who scream their support for Hamas and Hezbollah - both of which openly call for killing Jews, he's been paid by Iran's national Press TV to appear on that station, he's been a member of at least five Facebook groups where antisemitic comments were freely expressed.

Too many people say that Jeremy Corbyn is anti racist and so can't be antisemitic. Can anyone point me in the direction of an occasion when someone made an antisemitic remark in front of Jeremy Corbyn and he pulled them up on it at that time? Not later when he'd been advised to say something, but at the time.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it's probably a duck.

Jeremy Corbyn getting angry about being questioned about calling Hamas 'friends'

https://youtu.be/hOZZF5XCDBM

Quite a temper Jeremy Corbyn has got, hasn't he. Not at all the nice man he pretends to be and that his supporters claim he is.

That's one angry man, just look at his eyes, and as he knows some very nasty and dangerous people indeed it might have been rather brave of Krishnan Guru-Murthy to push the questioning.

Merkel Denounces Rising Anti-Semitism from Arab Refugees

'The emergence of  "another form of anti-Semitism" from refugees of Arab origin arriving in Germany has been denounced by Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Speaking during an interview with an Israeli television broadcaster on Sunday, the recently re-elected German leader pointed to Arab immgrants who bring profoudly anti-Jewish sentiments to their new home as "dismaying."

"We have a new phenomenon, as we have many refugees among whom there are, for example, people of Arab origin who bring another form of anti-Semitism into the country," Merkel told the private Channel 10 network.

...

Mrs.  Merkel went on to concede that the problem had become so manifest in daily German life that the government had appointed a commissioner specifically to fight against anti-Semitism.

"The fact that no nursery, no school, no synagogue can be left without police protection dismays us," she said.

As Breitbart Jerusalem has reported, the arrival of large numbers of migrants with pre-existing prejudices against Jews has been credited with the rise in anti-Semitism across Europe in general and Germany in particular.

Schoolteachers and other school officials in Berlin alone have noticed a rising trend of anti-Semitism among pupils and say the expression "You Jew!" has become a common insult.

A report conducted by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) of 21 schools in Berlin shows the antipathy towards Germany's Jewish population is growing among Turkish and Arab Muslim pupils. The group also found a disturbing rise in support for radical Islamism, according to German broadcaster RBB.

Such is the level of concern, Germany's ruling parties are preparing legislation that could see migrants who express anti-Semitic views deported from the country.

Another solution Germany is considering will force newly arrived immigrants and asylum seekers to tour former Nazi concentration camps.'

Has anyone in the mainstream media in the UK investigated if this is also true for Muslim immigrants into the UK, clue the answer is almost certainly yes. The BBC are obsessed by fighting Islamophobia but anti-Semitism shown by Muslims they are less keen on reporting.

The idea of showing Muslim immigrant children, and even Muslim children in general, the concentration camps would be harder in the UK, for geographical reasons. However as it seems that some Muslim children are being pulled from classes about the Holocaust this seems a non-starter. Another interesting question to ask is why Muslim parents are taking their children out of lessons about the Holocaust at all. However it's a question that won't be asked because the answer would reveal what the BBC do not want revealing.

St George's Day: What are your questions? per BBC News

Is this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-43864595 really the only article on the BBC on St George's Day? The BBC seem happy to celebrate, or report the celebrations, St Patrick's Day and St Andrew's Day, even St David's Day but St George's Day, no? Because in BBC land St George's Day is only celebrated by racists and anyway St George wasn't English anyway so there!

Please do note that you will be told by lefty types that St George was a Muslim. If told this, ask when he was born and when he died, the answer is AD 256–285 to 23 April 303 AD. Then ask them how someone who died in 303 AD could be a Muslim when the Islamic prophet Muhammad lived from 570–8AD to 632 AD. The lefty type won't be happy because they prefer prejudice to facts.

France approves controversial immigration bill per BBC News who do not approve

The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-43860880 on France's new immigration bill clearly show their opposition to it, the reporting really does accentuate the negative.

At the end of the report is the BBC's standard wording that appears on any article about immigration:

'A note on terminology: The BBC uses the term migrant to refer to all people on the move who have yet to complete the legal process of claiming asylum. This group includes people fleeing war-torn countries such as Syria, who are likely to be granted refugee status, as well as people who are seeking jobs and better lives, who governments are likely to rule are economic migrants.'

It would be interesting if the BBC gave context to their contextual note by telling us what proportion of the current flood of immigrants fall into each of those two categories, but that sort of information would not help the supporters of unlimited immigration.

Ian Austin said that it was a disgrace that Jeremy Corbyn hadn't expelled, or called for the expulsion, of Ken Livingstone from the Labour Party

https://youtu.be/8GjiZvROySE

Ian Austin said that it was a disgrace that Jeremy Corbyn hadn't expelled, or called for the expulsion, of Ken Livingstone from the Labour Party. Have any BBC 'journalist' or other unbiased operative asked Jeremy Corbyn to justify his lack of action in this regard? Of course not, the BBC are institutionally anti Israel and with a fellow traveller as leader of the Labour Party they are emboldened to be more casual about antisemites too.

Hamas man shot dead in Malaysia but the BBC choose not to provide context

No BBC article about Israeli 'settlements' is complete without a BBC paragraph explaining how such 'settlements' are 'illegal' under 'international law'.

Oddly this BBC piece http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-43851065 about Hamas includes no such background explaining that Hamas has been deemed a 'terrorist organisation' by world governments including the British and American ones.

Presumably the BBC don't want to criticise any 'friends' of Jeremy Corbyn A
and if that means raising hatred of Israel, all to the good. That such reporting also increases antisemitism in the UK is seemingly of no concern to the BBC, us Jews being disposable in the fight to change the UK forever.

Leading Surgeon Says Violence in Khan's London 'Like South Africa', Predicts 'Summer of Carnage'

'London's crime wave will develop into "carnage" come summer, a leading trauma surgeon has predicted, warning ultra-violence in the capital is "the new normal".

Dr Martin Griffiths, a consultant surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust, said soaring knife and gun crime has resulted in London "looking more like South Africa, or inner-city U.S." with regards to the rate of attacks.

"If it was hot weather right now, it would be carnage. When it gets a few degrees warmer, it's going to be taxing. It's going to be difficult," he told The Times.

The doctor, who earlier this month revealed some of his military colleagues have likened the situation seen in London trauma wards to hospitals in Middle East warzones, said that treating young teenagers with life-threatening injuries had become "the bread and butter" of his work at the Royal London Hospital.'

Oh super, thanks Tony Blair.

"With a heavy heart I have to terminate my Labour Party membership"

Read this and try to understand why Jews are fearful.

'This week, after agreeing that there would be a meeting with the JLC and Board of Deputies to discuss antisemitism in the party and how to move forward, a number of people in the Jewish community from a whole host of contentious and mainstream organisations, received emails from the Leader's office inviting them to a round table to discuss the same thing the next day.

By doing this, the Leader's office are trying again, as they previously had done with Jeremy Corbyn's attendance at the Jewdas seder, to turn the attention from antisemitism in the Labour Party, to infighting and fractures in the Jewish community. For a brief moment two weeks ago, that tactic worked and the news stories were no longer purely about antisemitism, but about who the "establishment" accepted was part of the Jewish community.

To use the same tactic again is something I cannot stand for. I will not be part of a party who pedal the line "we have more in common than that which divides us", whilst they quite literally seek to exaggerate and highlight the divisions in the Jewish community to divert the conversation away from dealing with antisemitism. No other community in this country would be treated this way by a mainstream political party. Encouraging in-fighting and highlighting divisions to discredit, undermine and divert serious conversations about antisemitism. This is a tactic straight out of a 1930s Germany play-book, and I cannot and will not be part of a party that uses that tactic against a religious minority. Against my community. Against my religion. Against me.'

Windrush: Alan Johnson says landing cards decision was made in 2009 - BBC News

The BBC are distraught http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43835664

'The decision to destroy the landing cards for Windrush migrants was taken under Labour, former home secretary Alan Johnson has said.

Asked if he knew about the 2009 decision, he told the BBC: "No, it was an administrative decision taken by the UK Border Agency."

The cards were then destroyed in 2010, when Theresa May was home secretary.

...

On Wednesday, Mr Corbyn accused the government of being "callous and incompetent" and asked if Mrs May, then home secretary, had "signed off" on the decision to destroy the landing cards which was now "causing such pain and such stress to a whole generation" of Windrush migrants.

She replied that the decision had been taken under the previous Labour government in 2009.

...

Mr Johnson suggested that Mr Corbyn had been "misled" over the issue: "The previous evening, as I understand it... Number 10 were briefing that this happened in 2010.

"What she had up her sleeve, whether it was deliberate or whatever - all's fair in love and Prime Minister's Questions - was that the decision was taken under us."

...

On BBC One's This Week, Mr Johnson - home secretary from June 2009 until May 2010 - said the UK Border Agency had taken the "administrative decision" to destroy the landing cards in 2009, although he was unaware of it.

"It wasn't just the Windrush landing cards it was this mass of paperwork that had built up over 50 years.

"And you have to remember, we were introducing a biometric identity card, compulsory, for anyone coming in from outside the European Union, so Windrush weren't involved in any of that, there was no threat to the Windrush generation.

...

"So it was an administrative decision, just at it was a year later, when Theresa May was home secretary - as my successor - and they were destroyed."

The Home Office has set up a task force to help people formalise their right to remain in the UK. But Home Secretary Amber Rudd has faced calls to quit over the scandal, with Labour saying she had blamed officials rather than taking responsibility for her department's actions.'

The Labour Party / BBC alliance had decided that the Windrush generation issue was going to be how they would destroy the electoral chances of the Conservative party in the upcoming local elections and hopefully take the scalp of Theresa May as well. The whole matter was pushed and promoted into the major issue of our times, leading to this week's PMQs when Jeremy Corbyn was to have put the blame firmly onto Theresa May and then for the whispering campaign calling her a racist and calling for her resignation would have got into gear.

Sadly for the BBC and the Labour Party the decision was taken under a Labour government. The line that made me laugh out loud in the above BBC article was this one:

'... Mr Johnson - home secretary from June 2009 until May 2010 - said the UK Border Agency had taken the "administrative decision" to destroy the landing cards in 2009, although he was unaware of it.'

If it had have been Theresa May who had been home secretary when the decision was made, would the BBC have accepted that it had been an "administrative decision"? Of course not, they along with the Labour Party would have been saying the buck should stop with her and calling for her resignation. But as it was a Labour politician, no action is required.

PMQs: Theresa May v Jeremy Corbyn

'Jeremy Corbyn asks about the destruction of the landing cards of "a generation of Commonwealth citizens". This was carried out by the Home Office in 2010, when Theresa May was home secretary.
The prime minister says "the decision was taken in 2009 under a Labour government".'

Oh dear, if true that does destroy the Labour/BBC attack line.

The BBC are very careful how they report the speeches by Luciana Berger and Ruth Smeeth re anti-Semitic abuse - UPDATED

The BBC report www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43795854 very carefully the speeches made today by Luciana Berger and Ruth Smeeth regarding the antisemitic abuse they have received.

The BBC quote Luciana Berger:
'She said she had received abuse from both the far-left and far-right of politics, and that the abuse had become more "commonplace and corrosive" in the past two years.'

And report that:
'The Labour leader, who was present in the chamber for much of the debate, is due to hold talks next week with leading Jewish groups amid criticism of his handling of anti-Semitism cases.'

However the BBC are less keen to report Ruth Smeeth's speech which included some of the abuse that she'd received that was deeply antisemitic and also pro Jeremy Corbyn.

Interestingly Jeremy Corbyn left the chamber before Ruth Smeeth spoke, I wonder if he knew what she was going to say.

Jeremy Corbyn leaving the chamber has not gone unnoticed elsewhere, Political Betting has these Tweets:

An impartial BBC would question Jeremy Corbyn about the content of Ruth Smeeth's speech and its implications for the perniciousness of antisemitism in parts of the Labour Party. An impartial BBC would question Jeremy Corbyn as to why he left the front bench for such a long part of the debate, what did he have to do that was more important? However the BBC are not impartial, they are pro-Labour and via their clear bias against Israel they have helped create an environment favourable to the growth of antisemitism.

The people who voted Brexit didn't know that meant leaving The Single Market

The remoaners including the BBC are pushing the lie that voters didn't know that a vote for Brexit meant leaving the Single Market. Apparently this was kept secret from the voters.

Watch this from one interview with David Cameron before the referendum, he wasn't exactly hiding that a vote for Brexit meant leaving the Single Market.

Somehow I doubt that the existence of evidence such as this will stop remoaners and the BBC from continuing to push their lies.

David 'we know our history' Lammy

I suppose you might think it a little unfair to take the piss out of David Lammy so much today but there's so much material out there and he really does deserve to be taken down a peg or three.

Journalist Melanie Phillips warns of ‘perfect anti-Jewish storm’

Are you British and Jewish? Then you need to read this article http://jewishnews.timesofisrael.com/journalist-melanie-phillips-of-perfect-anti-jewish-storm/ and prepare an exit route from the UK, because if the Labour Party win the next General Election then it will be time to leave.

'Journalist and author Melanie Phillips has warned of a "perfect anti-Jewish storm" in motion during a powerful Yom HaShoah lecture.

Describing interconnected threats to British Jewry as existing "on the left, right and in the Muslim community," Philips argued there were "unmistakable echoes" of the 1930s, and that many in the Jewish community were refusing once again to acknowledge "the true nature and extent of the gathering threat."

Delivering a powerful riposte against Labour under Jeremy Corbyn, Philips further added that the Left had "become the enemy of the West and the enemy of the Jews," and that the difference between anti-Zionism and antisemitism was "bogus" since both concepts were "umbilically connected."

Casting an eye over current affairs, Philips argued that since Jews were only safe "when a country felt strong", the increasing rise of nationalism accompanying Brexit offered a "slimmer a hope" that Jews would be better protected in future.

However, she criticised Britain's "failure to identify and tackle Islamic extremism", which was leaving the Jewish community as "collateral damage." On this, Philips criticised Jewish leadership organisations and called on them to "call out anti-Israelism for what it is, teach British people what lies about Israel exist, and talk more about Muslim antisemitism."

Melanie Phillips was speaking at St John Wood's synagogue on Thursday night, delivering The Simon Wiesenthal Centre Memorial Lecture on the occasion of Yom HaShoah. '

Sorry guys but prepare for the worst, sadly the time for Jews to have to leave the UK is nearing.

Jeremy Corbyn in probably worst high-five ever

Similarly to my last post, if this had been a Conservative politician making such a fool of themselves then this would be repeated again and again on the BBC's various News and satirical programmes but as this was the Labour Party leader, that 'nice' Jeremy Corbyn, not a word.

The BBC's bias disgusts me.

David Lammy liar or very unobservant?

If this had been a Conservative politician making such a fool of themselves then this would be repeated again and again on BBC topical news quizzes and other satirical programmes. However as it's a gaffe by a Labour politician, the BBC really aren't interested.

David 'Mastermind' Lammy strikes again. Look over your shoulder you pillock!

Year-long wage squeeze nearing an end per BBC News. Unemployment news hidden away

Whilst the BBC leads on the 'Windrush generation' apology, clearly a massive story, the good economic news gets buried. Look down the main news home page and you'll find a piece from the Business pages that's headlined 'Year-long wage squeeze nearing an end', read down that article and you'll find all that the BBC have to say about unemployment falling:

'Meanwhile, unemployment in the latest three-month period fell by 16,000 to 1.42 million, with the 4.2% unemployment rate the lowest since the three months to May 1975.'

Rather good news I would have thought, and that's why the BBC have hidden it away.

Unemployment down, stock markets up, Sterling almost back to pre Brexit levels - remind me what happened to the economic collapse that we were warned would follow a Yes vote?

Another Diane Abbott car crash interview

Watching especially from around 3:40 to hear Ms Abbott thrashing around trying to appear in control of her brief whilst clearly not. Do you think that she'd read Toby Harris's report? If she had, do you think she'd understood it? Is Diane Abbott as stupid as she seems? Is that possible?

When the maths just doesn't add up for Diane Abbott

Diane Abbott explains!

The whole country should be shown this video once a week so they realise quite how a) stupid and b) still condescending Ms Abbott is.

Diane Abbott's mathematical error even made Have I Got News for You in 2017

As I've said before, politicians can survive being hated but can't survive for long as a figure of fun. Ms Abbott is a figure of fun and for good reasons. However the BBC like her because she's black, a woman and left-wing, and Jeremy Corbyn likes her because...

Diane Abbott - another woeful interview

Do watch the whole interview but especially worthwhile from 6:02 to hear Diane Abbott trying to engage her brain whilst desperately trying to avoid answering a straight question.

Watching Diane Abbott thrashing around trying to form a coherent thought would be entertaining were she not a possible future Home Secretary or worse.

MPs to hold second debate on Syria strikes

The BBC are conflicted over the airstrikes on Syria. They, as a reflex, oppose anything done by a Conservative government. They generally oppose Britain using military power. They support the concept of the Arab Spring and the Iranian Shia revolutionaries. But they also support anyone who stands up to Israel, like President Assad, who was described on the BBC back during the Arab Spring as safe in power because he was seen as a strong leader who stood up to Israel - remember to the BBC the ultimate bad guys are the Israelis.

Meanwhile hidden away in the BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43792159 is this nugget:

'Monday's debate ended with a vote, forced by the SNP, on whether the House had sufficiently debated the matter of Syria.

The government won the motion by 314 to 36 votes, a majority of 278, with Labour abstaining.'

For what it's worth I'm against bombing Syria because of their use of chemical weapons. I'm not 100% that the Assad regime did use them, I don't trust the Islamist propaganda (it reminds me of Pallywood) and no good will come of it. However Jeremy Corbyn and his cabal arrive at their position via a reflex opposition to British military action, a support for any ally of Russia and opportunism.

Inspector General Charles McCulloch was 'threatened and silenced' when he investigated Hillary

https://youtu.be/aG1HlTtrarc

Shocking testimony but not what you'll ever see reported on the pro Hillary Clinton media, including the BBC.

Diane Abbott criticised after using fake image of Israeli jet over Tehran in Syria bombing row

The always politically correct Diane Abbott has shown either her ignorance or venality again.
  • Diane Abbott has shared a fake image of an Israeli fighter jet carrying out a bombing mission over Iranian capital Tehran while attempting to make a point about Theresa May's decision to involve Britain in airstrikes in Syria.

The Shadow Home Secretary tweeted the digitally altered image this morning after listening to a BBC Today programme interview with Penny Mordaunt, the International Development Secretary, who argued it was correct the Prime Minister did not consult Parliament ahead of the military action.

Ms Abbott wrote on Twitter: "Shocking to hear Tory minister on BBC Radio4 claim that you can't allow Parliament to vote on war because that would be to 'outsource the decision to people who don't have all the info'. Do these people understand what parliamentary democracy is?"

But the photo, which was taken from an aviation blog posted in 2012, shows an Israeli F-15 fighter over Tehran, with large explosions in the background.

It was created by Al Clark and posted by David Cenciotti on The Aviationist blog in March 2012, along with a clear explanation of what the image shows.

It is also unclear why Ms Abbott chose to post the image, which clearly shows an Israeli plane and depicts a day-time raid - whereas the airstrike launched by Britain, the US and France took place in the dead of night.

But Ms Abbott faced strong criticism on social media for her use of the fake photo.

Jonathan Arkush, Board of Deputies president, wrote on Twitter: "We are entitled to an explanation for @HackneyAbbott using a fake image of an Israeli plane bombing Tehran.

"Did she know it was faked up, or is this yet another case of a @UKLabour figure being remarkably careless ? And where did @HackneyAbbott find the image ? Over to you Diane."

Leading QC Simon Myerson wrote on Twitter: "And please don't say that a faked image doesn't matter. You're either committed to honesty and transparency or you're not."

Another social media user wrote: "It is important when it shows you have absolutely no clue what you're doing or talking about."

If I was looking for an image to illustrate a Tweet against the bombing of locations in Syria, a reasonable thing to do, I might use pictures of the sort of American or British planes that took place. I wouldn't use a random picture of a warplanes without checking whose plane and where it was bombing. Diane Abbott's failure to do this either shows a lack of interest in being factual or maybe any slur against Israel is fine for a leading figure in the new riddled with antisemitism Labour Party.

Brexit: 'People's vote' campaign group launched per BBC News

The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43774200 on yet another attempt to stop the democratic will of the people on the keep voting until you give the correct answer basis.

The BBC quote a Sir, no less:
'Sir Patrick told the BBC's Andrew Marr show that the "terms and conditions" of Brexit were "quite unlike" how they were presented during the 2016 referendum campaign.'

The Sir is an actor not an expert and I'd like to know how the "terms and conditions" of Brexit differ, but this is about emotion not facts.

The feminisation of BBC sport coverage

I've been watching the BBC's early evening, so main catch up, Commonwealth Games programme. Two female presenters: Clare  Balding and Gabby Logan, seemingly always a female guest and Michael Johnson. Tonight there's two female guests and Michael Johnson.

Is this female heavy coverage BBC policy?

I also feel that female athletes are getting more coverage than male, but I may be wrong. However any coverage of female athletes does illustrate how poor their performances are, in general, compared to men in the same events. I've blogged about this before: event for event, men are faster, stronger and better than women in virtually every event. The exceptions: equestrian events and is there another?

Some examples from the athletics:
The winner of the women's 100m's time bettered only the times of nine first round men's times.

The winner of the women's 10,000 metres' time would have been good enough to finish over 20 seconds behind the last man in the men's event.

I could go on and on but why bother?

If the BBC is politically neutral, how does it explain Andrew Neil? Per Owen Jones in Opinion in The Guardian

Owen Jones is upset with Andrew Neil https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/apr/11/bbc-andrew-neil-media-politics I can't imagine why.
Hold on, maybe he doesn't like being shown as a total idiot about taxation...

Owen Jones Tries to Get Andrew Neil Sacked From BBC per Guido Fawkes

'A taste of Corbyn's Britain, where his commissars choose which journalists get to interview Labour politicians on the BBCChilling…'

The ideals of free speech are not always an absolute for those on the left of politics. Owen Jones being an example.

Questions that won't be asked of Jeremy Corbyn

At the Jewdas 'seder' it is reported that those gathered chanted 'f*** the police', 'f*** the Tories', and said they wanted to 'bring about a revolution'.

Some obvious questions arise:
Did Jeremy Corbyn join in the chanting?
Does he agree with those sentiments expressed?
If not, then did he vocalise his opposition to those sentiments?

Fair questions that should be asked of Jeremy Corbyn but will anyone ask them? The BBC won't because they seemingly mostly support the Labour Party and might even be somewhat scared of getting on the wrong side of the type of people who freely associated with the IRA and call the antisemitic terrorist groups of Hamas and Hezbollah, friends.

South Africa pays tribute to Winnie Mandela per BBC News

The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-africa-43733300/south-africa-pays-tribute-to-winnie-mandela

'Thousands of people have paid tribute to Winnie Madikizela-Mandela at a memorial service in Soweto.

The anti-apartheid campaigner and ex-wife of Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president, died on 2 April.

Mourners, many clad in the green and yellow colours of the ruling African National Congress, danced and sang in a soccer stadium under grey skies.'

Not a word of context re necklacing people who opposed her, but that would be sullying her reputation...

'Problematic' Phrases 'British Values', 'Islamist' Banned in the Classroom by Political Correctness-Obsessed SNP

'According to official SNP advice, it is 'dangerous' for educators to refer to the word Islamist — frequently used to refer to fundamentalist adherence to Islam — as it risks "non-expert" audience linking the phenomena to ordinary Muslims in some way.

"All audiences will make a connection to the Muslim faith. This phrase is best avoided," the literature warned, recommending that teachers instead incorporate the term "Al-Qaeda-Inspired Violent Extremists" into their vocabulary of "safe language" regarding terror attacks.'

Another sign that British society is lost to political correctness stupidity. More coverage here http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/04/10/snp-values-inspire-new-terror/  More political correctness everywhere until we destroy this country.

Labour Aides Told Anti-Semitism Not Hurting Them in London per Guido Fawkes

Guido Fawkes has this thought

'Corbyn's Twitter outriders have been gloating that Labour's anti-Semitism scandal is not affecting the party in the polls. Owen Jones says the below comment about "relentless attacks" was not a reference to the anti-Semitism stories – Guido will let readers make their own minds up.'

I think that Guido might be missing something here; being perceived as an antisemitic party might be boosting the Labour vote from certain parts of the electorate. Are the Labour Party that unscrupulous?

French Police Bust Network of Identity Fraud Fake Underage Migrants per Breitbart

'Prosecutor of the Republic of Montpellier, Christophe Barret, said: "Recently, an isolated minor supported by the county council of Hérault had said he was 17 years old. The department had doubts. Extensive verifications have formally confirmed that he was 32 years old, in fact."

Police in Hérault also noted that many of the migrants had claimed to be orphans but that was soon proven false after they looked at their mobile phones. "In fact, when we seized their mobile phones, we realised that they regularly called their parents in Ivory Coast," police divisional commissioner Laurent Siam said.'

Palestinian attacker shot in head by Israeli civilian in West Bank per Jewish News

The Times of Israel reports http://jewishnews.timesofisrael.com/palestinian-attacker-shot-in-head-by-israeli-civilian-in-west-bank/ that:

A Palestinian man attempting to stab an Israeli man at a West Bank gas station was shot in the head by an armed civilian who witnessed the attack.'

I wonder how the BBC would spin that news report?

At Last: Tory Housing Minister Admits Mass Migration Has Pushed House Prices Up 20 Per Cent but also this key point emerges

'Raab also disclosed in the interview that he is urging the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to consider the negative impact of immigration on housing demand in addition to the "positive" contribution to GDP, ahead of a report due in the Autumn which will be the basis for the Government's migration policy.

"The MAC is right to look at the positive impact immigration has had on the country. At the same time you can't just airbrush the costs and the impact it has on housing," said the Brexit-backing minister, who was appointed to the role in January.

Raab's announcement, which implied that MAC reports have been neglecting to take into account some of the setbacks of mass migration, illustrates "the dangers of over-reliance on independent bodies to steer inherently political policy questions in an era when appeals to 'evidence-based policy'," according to ConservativeHome's Henry Hill.

"How many of us, when weighing expert interventions from groups such as the MAC, stop to consider the political assumptions underlying their frame of reference?," he asked in a blog post on Sunday.'

More here at Breitbart http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/04/08/housing-minister-admits-migration-pushed-house-prices-20-per-cent/ but don't expect any coverage of possible bias in the analysis of the Migration Advisory Committee by the BBC.

Bahrain GP reporting showing the incompetence of BBC Sport

The BBC show of their incompetence on this page http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/43676388 relating to the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Look for the pole position pie chart. I seem to recall realising quite quickly that the slices on a pie chart should be easily distinguishable usually by using different colours. Clearly the BBC don't have even basic chart creation skills.

Expert: Islam, Not Social Factors, Driving Radicalisation in France

'

Sociologist Olivier Galland has slammed many of his fellow academics for having a myopic view of radicalisation in France, saying that the effect of Islam is more important than social factors like poverty.

After the Bataclan attacks in 2015, Galland launched a survey of high school pupils on the subject of radicalism and found that Muslim students, in particular, were the most tolerant of violence committed in the name of religion Libération reports.

The results of the study, which were published earlier this week, showed that Muslim pupils were often much more illiberal than their non-Muslim counterparts and Galland has claimed that it is the effect of the religion of Islam, rather than simply social factors that drive radicalisation among them.

"We find a divergence and the existence of a cultural divide between young Muslims and their comrades. For them, religion dominates the secular world: this is what we have called 'religious absolutism'," Galland said.

"This conception of religion is linked to cultural anti-liberalism, which we measured with several questions, including one on homosexuality: more young Muslims than others do not see it as a normal way of living one's sexuality," he added, but stressed: "This does not mean, of course, that all are ultra-radical or that they are potential terrorists."

According to Galland, the migrant-heavy suburbs of Paris contained the largest amounts of radicalism.

"In some institutions, the proportion of 'absolutists' rises to more than 40 per cent. There is also a 'segregation' effect: when the rate of Muslim students is very high in a high school, they are more radical than elsewhere. But everywhere, Muslim students are more religiously radical than others," he said.

Galland also added that only 8 per cent of Christians in the survey advocated any form of religious violence, while the number of Muslim students was 20 per cent.'

There's more here http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/04/08/french-sociologist-says-islam-important-social-factors-radicalisation-process/ but obviously not on the BBC whose attitude to unfettered Muslim immigration is entirely positive, and any questioning is deemed racist.

Labour has antisemitism problem, 51% of voters say

My reaction to reading this Guardian piece https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/apr/08/labour-antisemitism-opinion-poll is 'only 51%'!

'Half of the electorate believes that there are at least pockets of antisemitism in the Labour party, according to a poll.

A third (34%) of voters also believe that Jeremy Corbyn is among those in the party who hold antisemitic views, despite his repeated denials and pledge to be a "militant opponent" of the problem.

The findings, from a debut poll by the Deltapoll company, will frustrate the Labour leadership. The party has attempted to draw a line under the issue by vowing to implement all the recommendations in Shami Chakrabarti's 2016 report (PDF) into alleged antisemitism in the party.

The poll found that 51% believes Labour has a problem with antisemitism to some degree. It found that 17% think the party is "riddled" with people holding antisemitic views, including Corbyn. The same proportion think "pockets" of antisemitism exist within Labour, including its leader. Two-fifths of 2017 Labour voters (39%) think that people within the party hold antisemitic views.'

Only 51%, how can they say that? Mind you the percentage who think Jeremy Corbyn holds antisemitic views is reaching a problem level for even Jeremy Corbyn, unless he's ready to write off any Jews voting Labour, preferring the larger number available of Muslim antisemitic votes.

Parody?

Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party's problems with antisemitism are pretty much beyond parody but the FT https://www.ft.com/content/825b2518-38b3-11e8-8b98-2f31af407cc8 have had a good go:

'And so it came to pass that Moses went to Pharaoh in Egypt and said: "My people are slaves; they are held in bondage and forced to labour in terrible conditions." And he said to Pharaoh: "Let my people go."

And Pharaoh said: "How dare you accuse me of slavery. This is a vile smear. I have been an anti-slaver all my life. I would not tolerate slavery in my country." And Moses said: "Well, what about those slaves over there?" And Pharaoh replied: "Well OK, there may be pockets of slavery but the idea that Egypt has a systemic problem with it is frankly offensive."

So Moses pointed to Pharaoh's palace, which was built by slaves, and to his barge, which was rowed by slaves, and to the pyramids, whose construction definitely had a slavish dimension. So Pharaoh's office issued a statement making clear that he had never actually seen any of these slaves, but if he had he would certainly have challenged it because "he has been an anti-slaver all this life".

They added that Pharaoh thought the slave masters were really comrades from Oarsmen for Palestine. Pharaoh added: "I regret not looking more closely at their terms and conditions." But his friends and supporters in Phomentum urged him to harden his heart, saying he was a saintly man who was fighting for the oppressed and that Moses' claims were patently a "smear" against someone who had been an anti-slaver all his life. And they said that allegations of slavery were being "weaponised" by Pharaoh's enemies to undermine his leadership. And they warned that Moses was backed by "powerful forces" like the Rothschilds and George Soros.'

Do read the whole piece, parody with a bite.
