The human jinx

Gordon Brown attended Scotland's football match where they lost to Italy on Saturday, yet again the presence of Gordon Brown at a sporting event is enough to all but ensure a loss for the home team.

Now Iain Dale informs us that when a "journalist asked if, having attended the Scotland game on Saturday, Gordon Brown would be going to see England play Croatia on Wednesday.The PMOS said 'no'. He was then asked why. I'm told that the PMOS then said that some people have been saying he's a jink (can't think WHO). "I'll leave it up to you to make up your own minds"."

Having seen the reaction of the crowd to the presence of our glorious leader at the England v Germany football match the other month, I was quite looking forward to hearing the boos ring out again.
