Whilst the BBC Politics news page has no reference to the signing of the EU Reform Treaty on Wednesday, some of us do know that it is happening. More disgustingly it appears that Gordon Brown will not be there to sign as he has an urgent prior appointment. Instead David Miliband will sign away even more of the UK's rights to rule ourselves.
Is Gordon doing his usual impression of McCavity or is he trying to ensure that the "gap year kid" suffers some of the opprobrium that will follow the signing? Who knows; trying to work out what goes on inside the mind of a man as paranoid as Gordon Brown gets harder by the day.
