Selective reporting of opinion polls

The BBC have stopped reporting opinion polls on the grounds that they just don't report every opinion poll. Of course the truth is somewhat different, they were perfectly happy to report opinion polls that showed a Labour lead such as this from August 2000 and this from June 2007; however they are less inclined to report the results of opinion polls now that their beloved Gordon Brown has been found out. I note that they have decided not to report that the latest YouGov poll gives the Conservatives an 18 point lead over Labour - Conservatives 44%, Labour 26%.
