Israel and Iran

The news that "Israel has launched a covert war against Iran as an alternative to direct military strikes against Tehran's nuclear programme" has cheered me up a little. Direct strikes would have left the way open for action by Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah etc. etc. etc. of an almost unthinkable type that would be "excused" by the usual anti-SemiticZionist elements in the West.

Clever alternative action seems the right approach to me.
