Keep the bad news at bay for a bit longer

Gordon Brown and his puppet Chancellor have delayed the Budget as much as possible, hoping against hope that something comes along to rescue them from the dire position that Labour mismanagement of the economy has put us in. I suppose they were hoping for good news to come out of the G20 conference; unfortunately for them I can't see that happening. With tax revenues from The City dropping by almost half compared to last year, Gordon Brown's 2009 budget will either contain tax rises or even more borrowing. The UK is sinking and the 22 April Budget will make that more than clear.
