The Sony Radio Academy Award nominations have just been published and Danny Baker is only up for one award - The Comedy Award - His nominated show is 606 and the competition are Adam and Joe, Count Arthur Strong's Radio Show!, Miranda Hart's Joke Shop and The Now Show.
What no nomination for his Radio London afternoon show? This is a scandal, that is reliably the funniest chat and music show on the radio...
Also missing from the nominations are I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue (the funniest radio show ever) and any recognition of media bias. How about setting up our own awards for:
1) Most biased radio programme - I nominate the Today programme
2) Most biased radio presenter - I nominate Richard Bacon
3) Most institutionally biases radio station - I nominate 5Live
