Wow

Tonight's final of MasterChef - wow! I would happily eat at any of the three finalist's restaurants but I would be most excited to eat at Tim's. What an incredible menu, beautifully presented and how he made all of that in three hours I will never know. Tim Anderson, remember that name.

Keith Floyd RIP

Keith Floyd, possibly the most entertaining of the TV chefs, has died at the age of 65. I will raise a glass (or two) of wine to his memory tonight. He was a chef not afraid of looking a less than perfect chef, I will miss his presence.

This survey cannot be accurate

According to The Sun, via thelondonpaper (a London free newspaper):

"Eight out of ten people don't know how to boil an egg and even fewer can roast a chicken, a new survey has revealed."

This cannot be correct and if it is then it is a sad indictment on Britain today.
