Three reasons why Gordon Brown has not been invited to the wedding of Prince William and Katherine Middleton

1) He sold half of our gold reserves...
 £10 billion to date

2) He might pick his nose

3) He's an embarrassment, a disgrace and I have not forgotten or forgiven him for what he has done to this country.

Gordon Brown as sharp as ever, the BBC as biased as ever

That great historian and ex-Prime Minister (that feels so good to say that I will say it again EX Prime Minister) Gordon Brown once again shows how sharp his mind is as he confuses thousands of years with hundreds and then repeats his mistake. Just a quick history lesson for the idiot who managed to do more damage to the UK than any man that I can think of - The Royal Navy may be called the 'Senior Service' but it is not thousands of years old. There was a reasonably large English navy pre the Norman conquest but the Navy Royal was not created until the 16th century and it was not until the Acts of Union in 1707 that the three-ship Royal Scots Navy merged with the English navy to create a British Royal Navy. There you go Gordon, better now?

Of course if a Conservative politician had made such a mistake it would be headline news on the BBC but as it is Gordon, not a word. Just as with Gordon Brown's 'Obama beach' and Barack Obama's 's8 States' the BBC ignores comments that would make its political heroes look or sound bad but will endlessly repeat the mistakes of George W. Bush and Sarah Palin. The best test of this is to compare the number of times that the BBC has played the tape of John Redwood's non-singing of the Welsh National anthem and the number of times it has shown the tape of Gordon Brown picking his nose. As I have never seen the latter on the BBC and I have spoken to people recently who did not believe such a thing even happened...

Thanks to 'Martin' on Biased-BBC for the video spot.

Ha ha look at David Cameron

How embarrassing; David Cameron quickly checks his hair in a TV camera lens before an interview.

Let's just remind ourselves of Gordon Brown at one of Tony Blair's PMQs...

It is bizarre how few people know about this piece of video; probably because the BBC never showed it. So put it on your blogs, spread the word, let the public see Gordon Brown in all his PUBLIC nose picking, bogey eating and finger wiping glory.

What's sauce for John Redwood should be sauce for Gordon Brown

Beeb Bias Craig reminds me that the BBC do like to bring up John Redwoods failure to know the Welsh National (Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau). Oddly they seem less keen to show the video of Gordon Brown picking his nose in the Chanmber of the House of Commons, I am not so reticent...

The nasty word

All day long the BBC (and others) have been trying to create a fuss over David Cameron's use of the word "twat". How terrible, how unacceptable, how rude and such a bad example to set the youth of this country etc.

Maybe the BBC should take a look at the sign outside the hotel in episode 11 of Fawlty Towers; a sign that reads "FLOWERY TWATS"; I don't recall any fuss being made after any showing of this episode known as "The Anniversary".

I wonder if there is any video of a senior politician setting an even worse example to the youth of the UK? Oh yes, here it is, not that you will ever see it on the BBC...
That's the truly disgusting video of Gordon Brown picking his nose and wiping the results on his tie... whilst sitting on the front bench as Tony Blair answers PMQs. It takes a truly odd person to do that and not realise that they might be seen; weird, really weird.

Stay away Gordon!

Could someone please ensure that Gordon Brown is kept away from the England cricket team during the Ashes contest this summer. The Prime Minister is a proven "Jonah" when it comes to wishing luck on businesses and sportsmen and the England cricket team need as much luck as possible in the contest with the Australians this summer.

The First Test starts today at Cardiff, so Gordon please stay well away and keep your well picked nose well away from matters that do not concern you.

Fighting Swine Flu the Gordon Brown Way

The NHS have some "Important information about swine flu" they wish to impart and one of the "Key actions" is "Use tissues to cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze". As I read this I wondered if the NHS could maybe use a picture and some video of our glorious leader, Gordon Brown, as a guide to general nasal hygiene...

Ramp up the fear and build up the PM

I see that the BBC are still pushing the swine fever scare factor by explaining that: "The World Health Organization raises the alert over swine flu to level five - a strong signal a pandemic is imminent, it says." and pushing that: " Britain will see "many, many more cases" of swine flu but most people will recover, a chief government adviser says.". Of course the BBC are keen to reassure us that Gordon "Father of the Nation" Brown was taking "the precautions to prevent the incidence of this disease in this country".

Meanwhile in the Number 10 bunker do I detect the slight smell of urine as Gordon Brown gets excited at the prospect of being able to cancel postpone
the June elections and maybe, just maybe, use the Civil Contingencies Act to keep his snotty little fingers on the levers of power.

Compare and contrast

The BBC are still refusing to show the Daniel Hannan attack on Gordon Brown but are more than happy to show a minute or so of the Labour video which ridicules Conservatives John Redwood and Nick Bourne, and Plaid Cymru leader Ieuan Wyn Jones.

What's the difference, apart from one being a video seen by over a million people on You Tube and the other one being doomed to disappear the main difference is that one is a Labour video and ridicules John Redwood (a Labour and BBC bogeyman), whilst the other ridicules Gordon Brown (the Labour leader and BBC pin-up).

Since the BBC won't show the Daniel Hannan video, I will...

and here is Gordon Brown showing that he can listen to a speech without grinning like an imbecile...

Mind you it seems he can only do this if he picks his nose in public

Gordon and the Jonah effect

The Gordon Brown is a "Jonah" meme has been spreading for a while but is there another Gordon who is a Jonah? The Telegraph reports that Gordon Ramsay used to bank with Icelandic bank Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander but that he switched to the Royal Bank of Scotland... Icelandic banking collapse, RBS shares in free-fall and apparently his own Holding company five months late with filing accounts - Maybe it's just the Gordon effect.

Mind you I'd rather eat a meal cooked by Gordon Ramsay than Gordon Brown. Even ignoring the infinitely better quality of cooking, the hygiene would be of a higher standard as well...

Gordon Brown and his problems with mathematics

Back in 2007 Gordon Brown said that
"I did maths at school and for one year at university but I don't think I was ever very good at it - and some people would say it shows."

Today at PMQs Gordon Brown said that the typical family would be £5 a week better off "that's £275 a year". The last time I checked, 5 x 52 was 260, but what do I know.

The BBC manage not to refer to this obvious mistake, preferring on their "The Full Story: PM's Questions" page the dry
"1212 Mr Brown defends the VAT cut, saying it gives the typical family an extra £5 a week to spend."
Are the BBC unaware that 5 x 52 does not equal 275? Do they have nobody who can multiply a two digit number by 5 working there? Or are they trying to protect the Prime Minister from ridicule?

Ask yourself this, if a similar error had been made by Margaret Thatcher or John Major when they were Prime Minister or by any subsequent leader or shadow Chancellor, do you think the BBC would have played the clip over and over and over again for years.

So will the BBC correct the page or will Hansard be "corrected" to show what Gordon Brown "meant" to say? We will know what Hansard has done when it comes out online tomorrow morning.

Just as with the media's endless repetition of George W. Bush's misspeaking whilst conveniently ignoring Barack Obama's claim to have visited "57 states" with "one left to go"

as well as ignoring his other documented errors. The media choose a "narrative" and indeed a favourite and ignore any other evidence to the contrary.

It was the same with John Redwood, the BBC destroyed him with the endless replaying of him failing to song along with Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau and associating him with looking like an alien, whilst they seem unwilling to show the video of Gordon Brown picking his nose and eating the results (and cleaning his fingers on his tie) whilst Tony Blair answers PMQs, why the lack of balance?

Here's the video of Gordon Brown picking his nose.

I promise that, when the BBC can prove to me that they have played this video as many times as they have played the video of John Redwood not knowing the Welsh National Anthem, I will post the John Redwood video here as well.

UPDATE: It appears that my hearing let me down; I thought Gordon Brown said £370, whereas in fact I am told he said £275. Still can't multiply correctly though.

Joe Biden and the three letter word and media bias towards parties of the left

That's yet another Joe Biden gaffe and from the main news channels, nothing. Dan Quayle's "potatoe" moment was endlessly played and laughed about during and after the 192 election but he was a Republican and fair game whereas Joe Biden is a Democrat and therefore not up for ridicule.

I have blogged about this type of political double standard before, most often with regard to the way that the BBC love to play the video of John Redwood failing to sing the words of Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau but have yet to play the video of Gordon Brown picking his nose during one of Tony Blair's PMQs. I know which I find funnier and I know which I think the general public would be more interested in seeing. Most of the general public unfortunately don't know or care who John Redwood is but they do know who Gordon Brown is and the video showing him in all his vileness would be of interest. The BBC however have a "narrative" to keep to and that narrative is of evil, nasty and stupid Tories being held at bay by the glorious "Superman" Gordon Brown. So as the BBC won't show the video, I will...

Gordon Brown goes digital (update)

Further to my post and others about Gordon Brown on YouTube appealing for questions, the dead tree media have picked up on the story. The Times have a sketch article by Ann Treneman that makes some nice points:

"Gordon Brown has launched something called “Ask the PM” on YouTube. His appeal for questions lasts only 40 seconds and yet each of those seconds seems a second too long. I suppose that it is so bad that it might almost be good. But the problem is that YouTube already has some great Gordo clips such as the all-time classic “Gordon Brown Picking His Nose”. This may be tasteless (though not to Gordon, apparently) but it's riveting.

Not so “Ask the PM”. The only question I had for Gordon after watching it was: “Why?”

...

The truth is that the whole “Ask the PM” venture is confusing, if not for Gordo then certainly for us (at the time of writing, it has had 13,230 hits compared with 249,839 for Gordon Picking His Nose).

...

Why, for instance, is our Prime Minister sitting in what appears to be the spare room? After all, he lives in Downing Street and so, we must assume, could have his pick of backdrops: sweeping staircases, cosy fireplaces, etc. But instead Gordon is plopped between a printer and a fridge that has (gasp) bottled water. Bottled water? I'm sorry but that is so uncool it's tropical.

The camera wobbles (why? a tribute to cinéma vérité?) as Gordon burbles on about his “new exciting new initiative”. “I will be here to answer your questions, questions you have about how globalisation is working.”

Gordon must have written this “script” himself. No one else would think that the question on everyone's lips would be: “How is globalisation working?” There may be a few other topics (financial meltdown, his odd smile, the polls) that intrude."

Gordon, I think you have been rumbled, the tide has turned you are now officially a "laughing stock", as I first documented last November when I blogged:

"Bad news Gordon but tonight when Graham Norton made a joke about you and the audience laughed approvingly it struck me - you are now officially a figure of fun!

The joke was about a picture of you and your wife looking glum at the Queen and Prince Phillip's 60th anniversary service.

"What happened to him?

Did he get his dream job and discover he's shit at it"

That and a gag about the missing data disks, and a piss take of Alistair Darling
-hello Darling, ... Darling, "you're a fucking idiot Darling, you're sacked"

Hatred is bearable for a government, Mrs Thatcher thrived on it. What kills a government is derision, it killed Major's government and it will kill Gordon Brown's. Trust me it will get worse, Graham Norton today, Jonathan Ross tomorrow and it will spread.

NotaSheep are you enjoying Gordon Brown's embarrassment? Oh yes I am, schadenfreude is a wonderful feeling."

Gordon Brown goes digital

As I blogged earlier, Gordon Brown is taking his massive personality online and will be answering video questions submitted to the Labour party's YouTube channel.

Here's Gordon Brown's request for questions in all its glory...

His fake smile has been turned down from puke-inducing to just queasy-making which is an improvement, at this rate his presence on-screen will be merely anodyne by the time of the next general election. I do like the slightly wobbly camera work, not enough to seem edgy (in a late 1990's way) but enough to make you notice and wonder why they bothered.

Of course there is a better piece of video showing Gordon Brown entering the "digital" age and here it is...

Meanwhile, Play Political has some example video questions...

"Snot Guilty"

"A LANK-HAIRED lout shocked David Cameron on a walkabout yesterday – by smearing SNOT on his back."

So the Sun reports today. I know what you are thinking and no Gordon hasn't flown back especially to do this. It appears that there is another snot loving lout in the UK.

It's a scandal

The BBC are going big on the story that "Conservative leader David Cameron has apologised after being photographed ignoring red lights and cycling the wrong way up a one-way street." They have even put up the video footage for the public to view and "rent-a-quote" Labour MP Stephen Pound has been prevailed upon to comment "David Cameron aspires to make the laws of the land but can't uphold them.". I believe my views on Stephen Pound are well documented on this blog.

It is interesting that the BBC are happy to put on their web-site the video of David Cameron on his bike but have yet to make available some more interesting video of Gordon Brown. For your pleasure here it is in all it's finger licking glory...

BBC love a Right wing politician with video problems

The BBC are loving drawing attention to the video of French President Nicolas Sarkozy swearing at a member of the crowd at the annual farming fair in Paris. Radio 5Live are including in every news bulletin and here is the web page devoted to this story. Apparently "The video clip, which has been posted on the internet, shows a man at the Salon International de l'Agriculture refusing to shake the president's hand.

When offered Mr Sarkozy's hand, the man draws back and says: "Oh no, don't touch me, you'll dirty me."

Mr Sarkozy snaps: "Get lost then you bloody idiot, just get lost!"...

The opposition Socialist leader, Francois Hollande, claimed this latest episode showed Mr Sarkozy's behaviour was not fitting for a president."

Now I don't remember the BBC drawing quite so much attention, or indeed any, to the amusing video of Gordon Brown picking his nose. Now why would that be the case? Just in case the BBC don't have the video to hand but want to refer to it, here it is...
