Prime Minister Viktor Orban saya what the BBC will not allow to be said on any part of their broadcasting/brainwashing empire

'The Muslim community is far stronger,... Cultural unity. It is an illusion in the minds of Europeans that those Muslims who would like to live in Europe would like to live in the host community the same way that we do. (In fact) They would like to maintain their community, culturally and ethically, continue the life they have, but under far better conditions.'

The BBC - plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

The BBC is institutionally anti-Israel, of that there is little doubt. Israel is the only Jewish state in the world (albeit one that is over 25% Muslim in population), so does that make the BBC institutionally anti-Semitic? I am not sure about this but it is pretty clear that to the BBC a good Jew is one who doesn't fight back when attacked. The Jews who died in the holocaust were victims of terror and the BBC support them in their deaths, Jews who fight back against Islamist terror aren't looked upon so favourably by the BBC.

In 1942 it seems that the BBC attitude was rather similar. Your Jewish News reports that:
'The BBC intentionally failed to warn Jews about the imminent Nazi threat they face, according to newly discovered evidence, the news media reported. A recent documentary program aired on the BBC investigates whether the service of the British Broadcasting Company in Hungary could have done more to save Jews in the country during the Holocaust, but instead chose to turn a blind eye. In 1942, the Civil BBC was on the front lines of the war of propaganda, spreading across the continent in an effort to help the Allied forces war effort. "The BBC aired news reports every day, giving an update on the war, general news and opinion articles on Hungarian politics. But among all these issues, there are important things that were not said, things that could have warned thousands of Hungarian Jews from the horrors to come in case of a German occupation," explains a historian Professor Ladislaus Lob. The professor is also a survivor of the Nazi concentration camp in Bergen-Belsen. According to the report, a note that sets policy for the Hungarian BBC in 1942 clearly stated: "Not to mention the Jews at all." The memo was written by Carlile Macartney, an advisor to the Foreign office in Hungary at the time. "Macartney believed that defending the Jews will alienate the majority of the Hungarian population at that time, which according to him, were anti-Semitic," Lob said. "Since British directors of the BBC wanted to draw German troops into Hungary and call them an occupying force, the argument was that the anti-Semitic Hungarians would not help the Allied forces if they seem too pro-Jewish." "Since December 1942, the British government and the BBC Hungarian Service knew what was happening to European Jews beyond Hungary, and they knew the most likely destination for the Jews of Hungary when the Germans invaded," he continued.'

Is your pension safe?

In 1997 Gordon Brown's raid on UK pensions netted his government many billions of pounds and ruined the retirement plans of many Britons. I warned over a year ago that more raids would be on the way along the lines of the Argentinians . Well today I read on CSMonitor that the Hungarian government ' made the citizens an offer they could not refuse. They could either remit their individual retirement savings to the state, or lose the right to the basic state pension (but still have an obligation to pay contributions for it). In this extortionate way, the government wants to gain control over $14bn of individual retirement savings.'
Meanwhile 'The Bulgarian government has come up with a similar idea. $300m of private early retirement savings was supposed to be transferred to the state pension scheme. The government gave way after trade unions protested and finally only about 20% of the original plans were implemented.'

But that's just the old Eastern Block countries, I hear you say. Not so,:
'Ireland. In 2001, the National Pension Reserve Fund was brought into existence for the purpose of supporting pensions of the Irish people in the years 2025-2050. The scheme was also supposed to provide for the pensions of some public sector employees (mainly university staff). However, in March 2009, the Irish government earmarked €4bn from this fund for rescuing banks. In November 2010, the remaining savings of €2.5bn was seized to support the bailout of the rest of the country.

The final example is France. In November, the French parliament decided to earmark €33bn from the national reserve pension fund FRR to reduce the short-term pension scheme deficit. In this way, the retirement savings intended for the years 2020-2040 will be used earlier, that is in the years 2011-2024, and the government will spend the saved up resources on other purposes.'

If we had a Labour government in power now then I would not be in the slightest bit surprised if they decided to conduct a similar raid on private and/or public pension pots. I doubt that a Conservative government would do this but desperate times... However can you be sure that a Labour government, red in tooth and claw, will not be elected soon? How safe is your pension?
