An Arkansas television station was interviewing an elderly Benton couple about a tree that fell into their house (hello, slow news day!), but that conversation got a lot more interesting when a naked man wandered out of the woods across from their house. "What is this out here we got?" resident John Manassel asked, pointing toward the street. What they got was an eyeful of Nathaniel Koba, who was holding his own, um, twig and berries with one hand as he shrugged and stood nonchalantly in the road. "I ought to go out there and start an ass-kicking contest," Manassel said. Fortunately for one of them, the cops arrived and arrested Koba for public intoxication and indecent exposure. Play School presenters were doing what? And as for Katy Manning... (NSFW)

This MSN article reports two all but unbelievable stories.

First that:

'Play School presenters went in front of the camera stoned after smoking "the biggest joint you've ever seen", according to a new BBC documentary.

Presenter Johnny Ball told a film crew that two of his co-stars filmed a nativity scene for long-running children's TV series Play School while stoned.

Speaking on a BBC4 documentary, Lights! Camera! Action! Tales of Television Centre, Johnny said: "There was Rick Jones, Lionel Morton and myself. They got stoned on the biggest joint you've ever seen - in the studio.'

I am lost for words, smoking weed on Play School!


The second story is more intriguing to me:

'The programme also lifts the lid on what went on behind the closed doors of the stars' dressing rooms, with former Doctor Who actress Katy Manning, who played Jo Grant, saying: "People were bonking all over the BBC. Everybody was doing it on the premises."'

If you don't know who Katy Manning aka Jo Grant is then you obviously didn't watch Doctor Who in the 1970s. Here's a picture or four to bring you up to speed and a link to a previous article of mine.

Charlie's Angels topless - A slightly NSFW Friday Night Rule 5 post

Would it be possible to post print a topless photo or show a video of every actress to have played one of Charlie's Angels?

It was a tough challenge but I had to have a go. First I had to check who had appeared in the Charlie's Angels TV series, Wikipedia seemed a good enough place to start.

Charlie's Angels is an American crime drama television series about three women who work for a private investigation agency, and is one of the first shows to showcase women in roles traditionally reserved for men. The series stars Kate Jackson (seasons 1–3); Farrah Fawcett-Majors (season 1; 3–4); Jaclyn Smith (seasons 1–5); Cheryl Ladd (seasons 2–5); Shelley Hack (season 4); Tanya Roberts (season 5). Added to this must be the stars of the more recent films: Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.

How did I get on?

Kate Jackson - I drew a blank here, not a promising start. Here are as close as I got.

There is meant to have been a Playboy shoot but I couldn't find any record of it online.


Farrah Fawcett-Majors - that was much easier, so many to choose from in fact, here's a few images...

Jaclyn Smith - I failed again although this signed promo pic came close and I did find some other bikini photos

Cheryl Ladd - I was surprised that there were no topless photos of Cheryl but here's some nice ones

Shelley Hack - This time I did find one alleged screen cap, which follows two nice photos

Tanya Roberts - I'll be honest I don't remember Tanya Roberts as one of Charlie's Angels but at least she did pose for Playboy and appear in some films

From the more recent films:
Drew Barrymore - Drew took the skill out of searching, there have been Playboy appearance and others showing her topless and more

Lucy Liu - For some strange reason, there are a lot of fake Lucy Liu porn shots out there, but also some nice stuff of the type I was trying to find

Finally, Cameron Diaz - finding a topless shot of her I thought would be impossible, so I was going to be happy to post just these few rather pleasant bikini shots...

Then I realised that she was regularly shot by the paparazzi

And then I found that before her career took off she had posed for some more interesting photos

And appeared in a film or two...
Now I knew about Something About Mary albeit not this perky deleted scene

But then I found A Life Less Ordinary

And finally from the set of She's No Angel...

And again with a rather interesting beginning, go on admit that was worth watching!

That's it, my work here is done. And what have we learnt from this post? First that modern actresses are happier to show more flesh. Second that Cameron Diaz is seriously hot. And third that sometimes I have too much time on my hands!

So did the California State revoke the right to go nude at San Onofre State Beach north of San Diego near San Clemente? It seems so as I read at Friends of San Onofre that:

'During September, DPR Ranger Mike Story (see picture below) issue 7 citations for nudity in the State Park. Of the three citations issue before summer, two of the victims of Rich Haydon’s wrath chose to accept a reasonable offer from the San Diego District Attorney to settle their cases. The remaining defendant has not accepted the offer and will likely proceed forward with the case. Each of the 7 later defendants has expressed a desire to fight the cases in court rather than settle. Friends of San Onofre Beach and the Naturist Action Committee are assisting in the procurement of top notch legal representation for the victims of this government oppression.'

Oh Sally Sparrow

I had the pleasure of watching the film 'An Education' recently and was most impressed by the performance of Carey Mulligan who I had last seen as Sally Sparrow in that excellent Dr Who episode 'Blink'. The only problem with the film was that we unlike, her co-star David (Peter Sarsgaard), do not get to see her topless; a real shame.

As Patricia Brake says "my breasts are firm and pliant", indeed they are, indeed they are. I was however disillusioned to read on the web that the nipples on display are in fact prosthetic as hers weren't prominent enough, and so another childhood illusion is shattered.

Mexican Playboy show a near nude image of the Virgin Mary and thousands of Christians riot as a result

Well half true, "Playboy magazine was forced to issue an apology after it put a nude model resembling the Virgin Mary on the cover of the Mexican edition of the publication only days before a major festival dedicated to the mother of Jesus." but there was no rioting. However can you imagine the rioting if the cover had been an image of Muhammad's mother Amina or one of his thirteen wives or concubines. But then of course no magazine would show such an image of a Muslim icon for fear of the violent response.

Have we become so politically corrrect that a photo of a topless girl causes such reactions?

The Mail reports that there is "Uproar at Cambridge University as student magazine puts topless blonde on page three", it seems that:

"A Cambridge undergraduate has caused uproar by becoming the first to pose topless in a student magazine.

The pretty blonde is pictured wearing a black, lacy thong with hold-up stockings as she poses on one of the city's historic bridges with a cigarette in her hand.

The woman, who is understood to be a third year student at Homerton College, appears in Vivid, which has a circulation of more than 5,000.

Although its editors claim the magazine's focus is on political and satirical articles, it has become known among students for its series of 'page 3' girls. "

Let's get this straight, a (presumably) 20 year old girl has posed topless for a magazine and that has created a furore?

"Students yesterday said they were shocked at the risque image. One King's College undergraduate, who asked not to be named, said: 'I can't believe she agreed to pose for the magazine.

'Everyone has been talking about it. I'm sure she must regret it now.'

A Clare College student added: 'Lots of students and professors have seen this. It's a risky thing to do when you are studying at one of the top universities in the country.' "

I wonder how many students were "shocked", I wonder how many students either couldn't care less or liked the image, I wonder how many who were "shocked" were studying womens studies and are permanently "shocked".
