The main headline on the BBC early evening news, why?

The main headline on the BBC early evening news on New Year's Day was that - Three Egyptian journalists will get a retrial.

Why is that the most important news story for the BBC?

Is it anything to do with the BBC's obsession with promoting the interests of the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamism?

Freedom of Speech in London 2013

This video is from London's School of Oriental And African Studies (SOAS) aka School of Organised Anti-Semitism where a speaker, Mohamed El-Nabawy, had to be ushered off stage by security guards when around 30 demonstrators stormed a lecture theatre. Mr El-Nabawy has ties to the Tamarod group which opposed ex President Mohammed Morsi and played a key role in the ousting of the Muslim Brotherhood-backed Morsi in June this year.

Just when you thought the Muslim Brotherhood couldn't stoop any lower - Muslim Brotherhood caught using puppies as fire bombs

The Washington Post reports that:
'A pet rescue operation has saved three puppies from Muslim Brotherhood clutches, after discovering the militant members were dousing the animals with gasoline, setting them on fire and throwing them into the chaos of a Tahrir Square demonstration, as makeshift bombs.
Robyn Urman, a rescuer with the New Jersey group, Pet ResQ Inc, said this isn't the first time Muslim Brotherhood members had been busted trying to use animals as gasoline-fired bombs, Breitbart reported. And this particular discovery didn't end well for all the dogs.

Egypt's Coptic Christians face unprecedented reprisals from the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Muslim Brotherhood members were caught near Tahrir pouring gasoline over more than 20 puppies — but only three could be saved.'
More here at the Washington Post but almost certainly not on the pro Muslim Brotherhood BBC.

Meet the six Muslim Brotherhood operatives in Obama regime

Do you wonder why Barack Hussein Obama seems so keen to come to the rescue of the Muslim Brotherhood and its associated organisations?
Here's a possible explanation

Egyptian Media Says Obama Is A Muslim Brotherhood Member

Is Barack Hussein Obama a member of the Muslim Brotherhood as some Egyptians claim? I doubt that he's a member but he certainly seems to be acting like a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, indeed he has since first elected.

Who are the Muslim Brotherhood and what do they want?

Three minutes that should be compulsory viewing for all western politicians. The trouble is some wouldn't believe it and some know already and some like Barack Obama actually seem to support the Muslim Brotherhood.

Wise words re the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt and Barack Obama

Colonel Ralph Peters gives his analysis of the situation in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood and Barack Obama's administration's failure of foreign policy.

The BBC covering up for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt - as usual

The BBC have a page of news stories about the ongoing crisis in Egypt. The link to that page from the BBC news home page says 'Coverage in full'. Hmmmm.

Where is the coverage of the 58 Christian churches, schools, institutions, homes and shops looted and torched, where is the coverage of the news of nuns being paraded through Egyptian streets as 'prisoners of war'?

Why are the BBC censoring the news coming out of Egypt in order to protect the Muslim Brotherhood?

Why do the BBC love the Muslim Brotherhood so much?

Could the Muslim Brotherhood's Sheikh Qaradawi's comments in 2009 be the explanation?
"Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the Jews people who would punish them for their corruption...The last punishment was carried out by [Adolf] Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they exaggerated this issue – he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them...Allah Willing, the next time will be at the hand of the believers. "

Is this the same factor that explains the BBC's love for Hamas? Hamas whose Charter expresses this truth:
“[W]e believe that the battle between us and the Jews is coming … Such a battle is not driven by nationalistic causes or patriotic belonging; it is rather driven by religious incentives. This battle is not going to happen between Arabs and Zionists, or between Jews and Palestinians, or between Jews or anybody else. It is between Muslims and Jews as is clearly stated in the hadith. This battle will occur between the collective body of Muslims and the collective body of Jews i.e. all Muslims and all Jews. (p. 77)”

It's also odd that the BBC, who are so quick to identify real or imaginary restrictions on the rights of women in the west, never reported that when the Muslim Brotherhood came to power in Egypt they rejected a draft UN declaration calling for an end to "all forms of violence against women". The Brotherhood said it "contradict(s) established principles of Islam" and "undermines Islamic ethics". It does so by "granting equal rights to adulterous wives", "full rights to file legal complaints against husbands", "allowing Muslim women to marry non-Muslims" and "cancelling the need for a husband's consent in matters like travel, work or use of contraceptives".

The BBC's inability to criticise Islamofascists worries me hugely, this added to their massive control of the UK's news media is actually dangerous.

Where is the BBC coverage?

News reaches me that an ex-minister in the Israeli government has been accused of beating an 11 year-old boy and that video evidence of the attack exists. Where is the BBC coverage of this incident?

Of course you can be 100% certain that if video existed of an Israeli minister attacking an 11 year-old boy then the BBC would be fearlessly highlighting it on their Middle East news page.

In actual fact the story of a minister in Mori's Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian government so the absence of the story from the BBC is totally understandable...

Here is the video in case you're interested.

The New York Times: Muslim Brotherhood's Words on women

' "A woman needs to be confined within a framework that is controlled by the man of the house," Osama Yehia Abu Salama, a Brotherhood family expert, said of the group's general approach, speaking in a recent seminar for women training to become marriage counselors. Even if a wife were beaten by her husband, he advised, "Show her how she had a role in what happened to her."
"If he is to blame," Mr. Abu Salama added, "she shares 30 percent or 40 percent of the fault."'
The delightful face of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Not surprising news, so what's the BBC's excuse?

Frontpage reports that 'Al Jazeera Dedicated to the Service of the Muslim Brotherhood, says Arab Newspaper'. Here's some more detail:
'Qatar’s relations with the Muslim Brotherhood are multi-pronged. On the media front, Qatar has dedicated Al Jazeera, the country’s most prized non-financial asset, to the service of the Muslim Brotherhood and turned it into what prominent Middle East scholar Alain Gresh calls a “mouthpiece for the Brotherhood.” The channel has in turn been repeatedly praised by the Brotherhood for its “neutrality.”'
Well that's not surprising, but what's the BBC's excuse?

Elder of Ziyon: Jew-hatred is the Muslim Brotherhood's official position

'Anyone with eyes knows that Jewish character - wherever and whenever it is found - is indistinguishable from delinquency, and has never rid itself of corruption....[Jews] never succeeded to have a normal coexistence and good relationships with humanity. It is not an exaggeration to say that they do not cease to be a source of evil and harm to all human societies, in other words: [Judaism] inherently can not ever be compatible with a community of human societies.'
That's from the Muslim Brotherhood's website. The 'moderate' Muslim Brotherhood...

But remember the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoot Hamas don't hate Jews, just Zionists. < /sarcasm>

President Morsi as the BBC won't show him

Whilst the BBC persists in portraying the new Egyptian President as a moderate voice, evidence to the contrary abounds. The latest example is reported by The Commentator:
'A new video has shown Egypt's newly elected Muslim Brotherhood President taking part in prayers this weekend as the preacher urged Allah to, "destroy the Jews".

In footage obtained by MEMRI (the Middle East Media Research Institute), Morsi was shown praying intensely as cleric Futouh Abd Al-Nabi Mansour, the local head of religious endowment, declared, “Oh Allah, absolve us of our sins, strengthen us, and grant us victory over the infidels. Oh Allah, destroy the Jews and their supporters. Oh Allah, disperse them, rend them asunder. Oh Allah, demonstrate Your might and greatness upon them. Show us Your omnipotence, oh Lord.”

The service took place in Matrouh governorate’s el-Tenaim Mosque and was screened on Egyptian state television on Friday.'
Why is there not a word  about this on the BBC news? It's almost as though they are trying to protect the Muslim Brotherhood from criticism and to hide the rampant anti-Semitism that exists across much of the Muslim world.

Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi in his own words

MEMRI report:
'Throughout his campaign and also since his election, Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi has stated that he accepts the peace agreement with Israel. For example, in a meeting with newspaper editors following his election, he said that Egypt would honor the agreement,[1] and in his inauguration speech at Cairo University, he said that he carried a message of peace to the world, that he would uphold Egypt's commitments as part of international treaties and conventions it has signed, and that "Egypt [would] never turn to a policy of aggression."[2] At the same time, Mursi is careful to qualify his statements and say that Egypt's acceptance of the peace agreement depends on Israel's honoring of this agreement – an assertion that is open to various interpretations. For example, in a televised interview before the elections, he said that Israel's honoring the agreement meant making peace with all the peoples of the region, implementing the Palestinians' right of return, and establishing a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.[3] On another occasion, he said that Israel's attack on Gaza constituted a violation of the peace agreement.[4] These qualifications to the acceptance of the peace agreement with Israel might serve Mursi and the MB as a means of exerting pressure on Israel and the U.S., by demanding concessions in return for a continued honoring of the agreement on Egypt's part. Moreover, the MB apparently intends to maintain a division of labor between the president and the MB party and movement. Mursi adheres to protocol and international requirements in his policies and statements; moreover, he emphasizes that he does not represent the MB party or movement in his role as president, while the MB movement, on the other hand, is much blunter in its statements on Israel and adheres to its longstanding ideology. Thus, in his sermons in the recent weeks, MB General Guide Muhammad Badi' has been taking a violent, hard-line stance and calling for jihad to rescue Palestine and Jerusalem.'
The BBC prefer to just say this:
'Relations with Israel and the US are among the most difficult challenges facing Mr Mursi. As a pragmatist, he will likely be keen to respect the peace treaty with Israel and maintain good relations with the US and the West. In his first televised address, he emphasised that he will honour all international treaties and agreements signed by Egypt.'
Time for an update BBC or do you want to mislead people as to Muhammad Mursi's views and words?

The BBC and Muhammad Morsi

Muhammad Morsi is the Muslim Brotherhood's candidate for Egyptian President who recently said that he will "achieve the Islamic conquest of Egypt for the second time, and make all Christians convert to Islam, or else pay the jizya," this being the Islamic tax required to be paid by non-Muslim 'dhimmis' in Islamic states.

This was reported in El Bashayer on May 27. Muhammad Morsi apparently made these comments while speaking with a journalist at the headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party. He is alleged to have added "We will not allow Ahmed Shafiq [his opponent for President] or anyone else to impede our second Islamic conquest of Egypt."

Muhammad Morsi was asked what he thought about the large numbers of Christian Copts who were, not surprisingly, coming out to vote for his more secular opponent, Muhammad Morsi reportedly said that "They need to know that conquest is coming, and Egypt will be Islamic, and that they must pay jizya or emigrate."

I can't find these comments on the BBC news website. Are the BBC still pushing the lie that the Arab spring has brought forth democracy and that the Muslim Brotherhood are not at all Islamist but are multicultural democrats?

The Muslim Brotherhood and the Obama government

Especially watch this extract from a Glenn Beck programme from 08:35 and from 12:00 best have a stiff drink. From 18:30 listen to the wake-up calls and wonder why our governments don't wake up.

For background to the first part of this this investigate the Muslim Brotherhood, here's something to start you off (from Jihad Watch:
'In a captured internal Muslim Brotherhood document, Brotherhood operatives in the U.S. are told that they “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

And at a Muslim event in California in 1998, CAIR cofounder and longtime Board chairman Omar Ahmad was quoted as saying: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”'
Are you worried yet? You should be.

Barack Obama, the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt and Israel

Two pieces have caught my eye this week, neither by themselves would have been worth a blogpost but the combination of the two is interesting.

First Reuters reported that:

'U.S. President Barack Obama plans to accelerate the pace of American aid to Egypt, a top State Department official said on Wednesday, as the most populous Arab nation reaches a critical stage in its uncertain transition away from autocratic rule.

Undersecretary of State Robert Hormats, part of a U.S. delegation that held unprecedented talks last week with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, said Washington wanted to provide "more immediate benefits" to Egyptians, who earlier this month conducted their first democratic elections in decades.

"During this period, we want to be as supportive as we can. This is an historic moment. Egypt's a country of enormous importance," Hormats said.'
Second I read in The Egypt Independentthat:
'The Muslim Brotherhood will not speak or meet with Israeli officials and its stance on Israel is not up for discussion, group spokesperson Mahmoud Ghezlan told London-based Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper. '
So the coming to power in Egypt of a group that won't meet or speak with Israeli officials is a cue for Barack Obama's administration to accelerate the pace of American aid; interesting...

What's happening to the Coptic Christians in Egypt and why this is nothing new

Raymond Ibrahim’s testimony to the US House of Representatives Human Rights Committee on Shariah, Dhimmitude and the Copts.

In just fifteen minutes Raymond Ibrahim demonstrates clearly how the contemporary persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt is simply a continuation of the near identical suffering meted out to the same Coptic Christians for fourteen previous centuries.

Raymond Ibrahim shows that this is no “accidental aberration” as he points to the Quranic injunctions – the literal commands of god – that instruct Muslims to behave in the ways that lead to the inevitable suffering of any non-Muslim who falls under the reach of Islam’s power.

The worry for me is that whilst I have heard all this before, there are so many people who are completely unaware of the Islamic construct. The blame for this lack of knowledge can be laid squarely at the feet of the western 'liberal' media (especially the BBC), much of the West's educational system and the Western establishment who just cannot face the truth about Islamism.
