Fake statistics from a Labour politician? I'm shocked...

Fake statistics pushed by the Labour Party supporting BBC?
Yesterday Iain Dale had a Muslim on his LBC show who stated that FGM was not part of Islam but was African. Maybe if he had seen this video he'd have had a better comeback.
When a leader of the Klu Klax Klan came out as a supporter of Donald Trump during the US Presidential Election the BBC were apoplectic and pushed the story at every opportunity. The BBC don't seem to have reported that the UK Communist Party have called for people to vote Labour at the upcoming General Election.
Guido Fawkes https://order-order.com/2017/04/24/commies-for-corbyn/ has the story.
Lauren Southern with some good examples of media fake news, including the BBC.
Lauren Southen on the money here.
'The BBC is more interested in shaping the news agenda than reporting it, says John Redwood.
Yesterday, I was phoned to be asked onto the BBC Radio 4 Today programme this morning. They said they wanted me to answer questions about how the election would change the UK's ability to negotiate a good new relationship with the EU. I was happy to do so, and said I could make any time at their studio. It seemed like a good topic, and central to what the PM said about her reason for calling the election.
They then proceeded to ask me a series of questions all designed to get me to disagree with the UK negotiating position and the Prime Minister. I explained that I supported the PM, agreed with her Brexit White Paper and stated aims, and suggested if all they wanted to do was to criticise her they should approach the Opposition parties. They continued to try to get me to disagree. They did not seem to have read the White Paper or the PM's speech on the topic, so I had to tell them what was in them and why I agreed with them.
I explained again that their thesis that the Leave supporting MPs disagreed with the PM and were "rebels" was simply untrue. We are not in disagreement with the PM and we have been strongly supporting the government's statements and legislation on Brexit. She said she would get back to me about the invitation to go on, with the details.
She did not of course bother to, as it was clear I was unwilling to feed their view of what the news should be.'

Somehow I doubt that the BBC will report this.

@ChukaUmunna Theresa May is a disgrace-she called an Election because she rejects the idea of an Opposition in our democracy. We are not some dictatorship

Calling an election is a sign of being a dictator? And Chuka Umunna is meant to be one of the more sensible Labour Party politicians.
Thanks to Guido Fawkes for the spot.
Antisemitic sentiment is rising in the USA and especially in educational establishments. Here's a fascinating report https://www.algemeiner.com/2017/04/09/im-gonna-finish-what-hitler-started-that-jew-better-run-among-social-media-comments-by-cleveland-state-university-students-revealed-by-covert-watchdog/
'The dossier, released on Thursday, highlighted dozens of antisemitic, homophobic and racist comments, including, "I'm gonna finish what Hitler started," and "I'm bringing rocks to school…that Jew better run."'
Do read it all, similar is happening in many UK university campuses.
Another catch-up article based upon The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/apr/06/ken-livingstone-hitler-zionism-jews
'So … Ken … A lot of people – predominantly the good people, of course, of the British left – have been tweeting to tell me that Ken just "stated a fact". Here is the problem with what Livingstone said. Because Ken Livingstone did not state a fact.
The statement "Hitler supported Zionism" is not a fact. It's an interpretation. An interpretation of a particular historical moment, in the 1930s, when the forced emigration of Jews from Germany was pushed further along by various Nazi economic incentives allowing those who fled to Palestine to get some of their stolen assets back.
That is not Adolf Hitler supporting the idea of a Jewish state (even writing that sentence looks ridiculous). It is the Nazis taking advantage of the terror and despair of fleeing refugees to get more of them to leave the country. It is just the thin edge of the wedge of Nazi horror.'
Do read the rest of the article.
I'm catching up with some old articles that I have neglected to post. Here's one based upon https://antisemitism.uk/labour-party-members-and-their-nazi-beliefs/
'The antisemitism of the far-left often appears to be a distinct phenomenon — starting with the antisemitism of early Marxists, it later absorbed the antisemitism of Stalin's Russia. From the 1980s onward, far-left antisemitism has been established as part of a supposedly anti-imperialist position. Elements of the far-left have embraced genocidally antisemitic Islamist movements, and under the cover of so-called identity politics have come to portray Jews as 'white oppressors'.
These political and historical developments are real, but their existence lowered down ropes into the pitch-dark pit into which Western societies once cast older forms of antisemitism, enabling them to haul themselves to the surface once more.
The Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn's leadership is a case in point: antisemitism within it has been denied and has now gone unpunished for so long that it is possible to see the very worst forms of it appearing from the darkness, blinking into the light.
So it is that in the last few months we have seen numerous cases of notorious conspiracy myths about the Rothschild family of bankers and philanthropists appearing in the ranks of the Labour Party.'
Call me an old conspiracy theory nut but this decision by Prime Minister Theresa May to hold a snap general election reeks of deep state manoeuvring. The establishment don't want Brexit to happen and if the result of the general election is a Labour government or a coalition of Labour or Conservatives with the EU fanatics of the Liberal Democrats then Brexit will be off.
In the words of John Lydon "do you ever get the feeling you've been had?"
More excitement from remaniacs here on the institutionally pro EU BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-39628713
The BBC choose to use the word noxious in this report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-39618490 whilst a quoted witness says:
"Scary scenes tonight, we have heard reports of chemical burns of people in the building here".
'In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it.
It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it.
Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy.
The heresy of heresies was common sense.'
George Orwell, '1984'
For 'the Party' you can substitute the BBC and lefty political establishment.
The BBC weep tears for poor persecuted Muslims, ignoring that a) more Muslims suffer at the hands of other Muslims than non Muslims and b) that according to solid research not lefty 'feelings' it's Christians that are the 'most persecuted group in the world'.
'During the last calendar year, some 90,000 Christians were killed for their faith across the globe, making Christians by far the most persecuted group in the world, according to a study from the Turin-based Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR).
The director of CESNUR, Dr. Massimo Introvigne, told Breitbart News that whereas atheistic communist regimes were the greatest persecutors of Christians in the last century, "Islamic ultra-fundamentalism" has taken its place as the number-one agent of persecution.
The Center's findings corroborate those of other scholars and human rights groups. According to the 2016 "World Watch List," for example, published by the Open Doors organization, nine out of the top ten countries where Christians suffer "extreme persecution" had populations that are at least 50 percent Muslim.
Their 2016 report revealed that "Islamic extremism is by far the most significant persecution engine" of Christians in the world today and that "40 of the 50 countries on the World Watch List are affected by this kind of persecution.
"During the year, nearly one-third of the Christians killed for their faith were executed at the hands of Islamic extremists such as the Islamic State or Boko Haram.'
You can read more here at Breitbart http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/04/16/easter-2017-christians-most-persecuted-group-in-the-world/ but not on the BBC, where supporting the Islamistion of the world is considered worthy.
The BBC seem to have deliberately omitted the word anti from their front page lead into this report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39612785
The lead says that Trump demonstrations turn violent, surely it was anti Trump demonstrations that turned violent but all news concerning President Donald Trump has to be reported through the BBC's anti Trump narrative.
The actual report runs:
'At least 21 people have been arrested in Berkeley, California, following clashes between opponents and supporters of US President Donald Trump.
Several people were injured when fighting broke out on a day of nationwide marches calling on the president to release his tax returns.'
It would be interesting to know the relevant numbers of supporters and opponents of President Donald Trump who were arrested but as the BBC don't give figures I think we can assume that many more opponents than supporters were arrested.
The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-39592010 that:
'Since the US election presidential race, fact checking websites report what seems like an increase in anti-Trump, 'liberal fake news'.'
Oddly the BBC don't see the irony in their reporting this news whilst spewing out anti President Donald Trump opinion.
Unfortunately for the BBC, they have to report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-39598046 that:
'A US military strike with a weapon known as the "mother of all bombs" (MOAB) killed 36 IS militants and destroyed their base, the Afghan defence ministry says.
The 21,600lb (9,800kg) bomb was dropped on a tunnel complex used by so-called Islamic State in Nangarhar province.
No civilians were affected by the explosion, the ministry said.'
No civilians affected? The BBC will be distraught that they can't blame the deaths of the ubiquitous Muslim wedding guests on President Donald Trump.
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39597062 about someone actually getting punished for being involved in the disgusting mutilation crime of FGM includes this as its last line:
'About 200 million girls and women around the world have suffered some form of FGM, the UN says, with half living in Egypt, Ethiopia and Indonesia, the UN says.'
What links those three countries? The BBC won't say.
When you read the names of the defendants then you'll understand why the BBC won't be reporting this news.

Can you see anything that these individuals might have in common? It's a total mystery.
This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39543750 ends with two sentences that illustrate just how stupid Western society is.
'After applying for residency in 2014, he was informed in December 2016 that "he had four weeks to leave the country", police official Jonas Hysing said.
He disappeared and, in February, was officially put on a wanted list.'
It seems that the relevant authorities actually believe that someone who's failed in their application to stay in the West will meekly wait around to be deported. Are these authorities really shocked when the individual disappears rather than be deported, or don't they care what happens?
You must read this article by the very brave David Collier, it's not a pleasant read but it is a necessary one.
The article http://david-collier.com/sentinels-protecting-antisemites/ should be read by everyone Jewish or not.
'2014 saw the loudest outpouring of blatant antisemitism in Europe since 1945. In 2017 hard-core anti-Jewish hatred is dished up on the university campus. 9/11 conspiracy theories are shared inside lecture halls. An academic at a conference can claim that European Jews are fake Jews and Hebrew is a Palestinian language. Each comment of this type receives applause. Antisemitism isn't hiding in the dark anymore.'
The institutionally anti Israel BBC fans these flames of anti-Semitism.

Breitbart report http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/04/07/politicians-wales-transformed-worlds-first-migrant-sanctuary/ on Welsh politicians' wanting to turn Wales into a migrant sanctuary. This is despite th people of Wales not support the idea.
'A substantial poll carried out for WalesOnline by YouGov in 2014 foundthat 68 per cent of people believe immigration controls should be tighter, compared with 5 per cent who believe they should be relaxed.
41 per cent of respondents also believed that immigration has damaged Wales, with 18 per cent saying the damage has been "very bad". This compares with 22 per cent who said immigration has benefited Wales, with just 5 per saying the effects have been "very good".'
'So-called "honour crimes" have risen by 40 per cent in five years in London, with the number of forced marriages doubling in the same period.
According to the figures, obtained by theEvening Standard, some of the children involved in the abuse were younger than ten-years-old.'

The BBC are all doom and gloom over Brexit and this report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-39537726 is no different.
However in amongst this a pertinent fact is being missed. If the UK leaves the EU and has no access to the Single Market on the same or similar terms to now then the EU car manufacturers, mainly German, will lose their preferential access to the UK market. If that happens then might it not be excellent news for the likes of Ford. Might not the Ford Mondeo, a seriously good driving car, become the executive car of choice? Ford Mondeo or Audi A4/BMW 3 series...
Sue at isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk gets close to the truth about the BBC and Israel in this piece http://isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk/2017/04/lorry-rams-crowds.html
'Why does the BBC think car-rammings in Israel are somehow not worth including in their "Vehicle ramming Timeline" ?All 57 of them?'
The BBC heading for their time line has evolved from that reported in the isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk article to something along the lines of 'in the western world' and is now 'in Europe and the US'.
What the BBC will not do is allow any parallels to be drawn between the Islamist terrorists of ISIS and those of Hamas etc. It's all one civilisational conflict but that is not possible to report by the institutionally anti Israel BBC.
Still makes me laugh every time that I watch this.

Wheras in Northern Ireland the Blair Labour government pretty much gave in to the IRA.
BBC report here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39512637 with no mention of the IRA parallels.
'Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman has described the US air strikes on the Shayrat airbase as an "aggression against a sovereign nation". Mr Putin sees them as an "attempt to distract the world from civilian casualties from US military action in Iraq," and they "do significant damage" to US-Russia ties", Dmitry Peskov said.'
But Russia wanted Donald Trump to become President of the United States of America because he was their man?
The BBC must be confused, they've been pushing the story that President Donald Trump has too many links with Russia, who helped his election. Yet they also now have to report that President Donald Trump has taken action against the Russian supported regime in Syria, which aids the Islamists in Syria.
Presumably the BBC are trying to formulate attack lines on President Donald Trump, warmonger would be the easiest I suppose. Even though he's just carrying through on Barack Hussein Obama's red lines promise re the use of chemical weapons.

Another article about the BBC's current obsession with matters transgender here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39489678 where this line caught my eye:
'It is estimated that about 650,000 people identify as trans in the UK.'
Estimated by whom? On what basis?
At least we know where the BBC will continue to stand on the subject of Brexit.
'The BBC no longer has a duty to "broadly balance" its coverage of Brexit, Nick Robinson, one of the broadcaster's most senior political journalists, has said.
The Today programme host and former political editor of the national broadcaster told critics to "leave it out" and "remain calm".
He differentiated between balance and bias in his column for the Radio Times, welcoming the former and rejecting the latter if it is not justified in the view of him and his colleagues.
"The bias I worry about most is the bias against understanding," he says.
He insisted the BBC still had a commitment to "due impartiality", which meant it would get as close to the truth they saw it, but would not represent both sides of the argument if one was wrong in their view.
"The referendum is over. The duty we broadcasters had to 'broadly balance' the views of the two sides is at an end," he wrote.
The key passage there is this one:
'it (the BBC) would get as close to the truth they saw it, but would not represent both sides of the argument if one was wrong in their view.'
Just let the sheer arrogance of that comment sink in.
The BBC's roster of comedians includes many on the left of politics and several on the far left, but previous few who are right of centre.

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-39488291 on London's new ULEV includes this:
'Sir David King, the chief scientific adviser under both Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, said the government had been previously "wrong" to encourage people to buy diesel vehicles.'
This doesn't quite say that it was the last Labour government that made that 'wrong' decision. The BBC running interference for their Labour Party pals as usual.
'European human rights chiefs have told the British press it must not report when terrorists are Muslim.
The recommendations came as part of a list of 23 meddling demands to Theresa May's government on how to run the media in an alarming threat to freedom speech.
The report, drawn up by the Council of Europe's human rights watchdog, blamed the recent increase in hate crimes and racism in the UK on the 'worrying examples of intolerance and hate speech in the newspapers, online and even among politicians', although the research was done before the EU referendum campaign had even begun.
The suggestions sent to Downing Street urging the UK Government to reform criminal law and freedom of the press and in a brutal criticism of the British press, the report recommends ministers 'give more rigorous training' to journalists.
But UK ministers firmly rebutted the remarkable demands, telling the body: 'The Government is committed to a free and open press and does not interfere with what the press does and does not publish, as long as the press abides by the law.''
