Boko Haram Strapped And Remotely Triggered Explosives On Unsuspecting Kidnapped Schoolgirls

'In what could only be deemed as one of the world's most heinous crimes, the Boko Haram militants have been strapping explosives scoured from a Chinese factory onto little schoolgirls and exploding them via remote controls.

Terrorism has been mutating into grotesque forms lately. The Boko Haram faction is perhaps the most dishonorable and cowardly team of so-called rebels who have been wreaking havoc in Nigeria.

However, as The Inquisitr had reported, Boko Haram gained a new low in terrorism tactics by strapping bombs on little schoolgirls and sending them into their enemy camp.'

Evil, sheer evil. But don't expect much coverage, if any, on the institutionally anti Israel BBC and Channel 4. For on those media outlets, the headlines are about unverified stories that paint Israel in as bad a light as possible, not about anything that might shine a light on the Islamist terrorist threat.

Israel is on the front line against Islamist terrorism, is that really why the BBC is so anti Israel?

BBC News - Atheist declared mentally ill in Nigeria

'A Nigerian man has been sent to a mental institute in Kano state after he declared that he did not believe in God, according to a humanist charity.

Mubarak Bala, 29, is said to have been forcibly medicated by his Muslim relatives, despite being given a clean bill of health by a doctor.'

And another attack by followers of the 'religion of peace'

This time in Nigeria where Islamist terrorists (or as the BBC describe them, gunmen) have attacked a college in north-eastern Nigeria, killing up to 50 students. The students were shot dead as they slept in their dormitory at the College of Agriculture in Yobe state.

The BBC tell me that:
'North-eastern Nigeria is under a state of emergency amid an Islamist insurgency by the Boko Haram group.

Boko Haram is fighting to overthrow Nigeria's government to create an Islamic state, and has launched a number of attacks on schools.'
I tell the BBC, stop pussy footing around, call terrorists terrorists and realise that even if we in the non-Muslim world don't want to  at war with Islam, it seems that they are at war with us.

“We Muslims Can Marry Girls Of Any Age”

According to The Nigeria Today 'A prominent Niger Delta Muslim, Alhaji Mujahid Abubakar Dokubo-Asari, has lashed out at critics of the moves by Nigeria’s Senate to approve under-age marriage.'

There's more:
'Expressing his opinion on the issue this morning, Dokubo, who converted to Islam as an adult, insisted that it is the right of Muslims to marry or give out their daughters at any age they wish, adding that this is not the business of non-Muslims.

Said the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF) leader through Facebook:
“People should learn to respect other people’s sensibilities…We Muslims have the right to marry when we want or give out our daughters at any age we want. It is not your business and the law must respect our right to do so. Anything short of that is an infringement on our rights. We did not ask you to marry ladies of that age or give your daughters out in marriage at that age. Plzzzzzzzz respect our sensibilities.”

The Nigerian Senate has come under fire from outraged Nigerians and the international community after being convinced by Senator Ahmad Yarima to drop a constitutional amendment outlawing marriage to girls under 18. The former Zamfara State governor who once came under fire for marrying a girl believed to be aged 13 had argued that Islam recognises under-age marriage.'
Now why would this Muslim leader be slo certain that 'it is the right of Muslims to marry or give out their daughters at any age they wish'?

'Islamic tradition records that Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, was six when Muhammad wedded her and nine when he consummated the marriage: “The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old a

Marrying young girls was not all that unusual for its time, but because in Islam Muhammad is the supreme example of conduct (cf. Qur’an 33:21), he is considered exemplary in this unto today. And so in April 2011, the Bangladesh Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini declared that those trying to pass a law banning child marriage in that country were putting Muhammad in a bad light: “Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam… [putting] the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge.” He added a threat: “Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.” The Mufti said that 200,000 jihadists were ready to sacrifice their lives for any law restricting child marriage. Now why would they want closer links with Israel?

In recent days I have read that the leader of the new government (indeed country) of South Sudan has visited Israel and that the Nigerian government has sought help from Israel in how to tackle Boko Haram. What possible reason could there be for these two African countries to prioritise relations with Israel?

Maybe South Sudan is interested in learning from Israel's long experience in dealing with hostile neighbouring Islamist countries yearning to kill its citizens and take its land. Maybe Nigeria is interested in learning from Israel's long experience in dealing with Islamic terrorists eager to kill its citizens in the name of Islam.

Maybe the folk-memory of the evil Arab slave trader also lingers in the minds of the Africans.

How the BBC must hate news stories like the above. Black Africans (good) linking with Israel (oh so bad) to fight Islamists (good). How the BBC's collective minds must hurt.

Thursday morning catch-up - a "No shit, Sherlock!" special

More Firefox tabs that need closing:

1) Total Politics have worked out that the RMT's Bob Crow is something of a hypocrite; no shit, Sherlocks!

2) The Washington Times thinks that
'President Obama is presiding over the end of American dominance in the Middle East. Across the region, U.S. power is receding - and radical Islam is filling the void. Mr. Obama has betrayed our allies and emboldened our enemies. He is slowly helping make the Middle East safe for jihadists, thereby undermining America’s national security.

Contrary to the spin of the mainstream media, the fever that is sweeping the Middle East is not some long-suppressed desire for political liberty. These are not secular democratic revolutions.'
No shit, Sherlocks!

3) Yahoo News report that '49% - Nigerians Support al Qaeda' - No shit, Sherlocks!

4) The Washington Post report that Israel has discovered and mapped 'roughly 1,000 underground bunkers and hidden weapons storage facilities and monitoring sites built by Hezbollah in south Lebanon.' Who would have thought that Hezbollah would have spent the last few years rearming and hardening their defences; it's a shock isn't it?

5) Elvis Nixon realises that CNN has double standards when it comes to Muslims; "No shit, Sherlocks"

Sometimes stereotypes seem to be accurate

Sky News report the staggering allegation that '2018 Claims: 'World Cup Votes Can Be Bought' '

The line that caught my eye was this one:
'The 2018 and 2022 World Cup bids have been hit by a series of corruption allegations resulting in the suspension of Nigerian Fifa executive Amos Adamu who allegedly guaranteed his vote for £500,000.'
A Nigerian involved in allegations of corruption; whatever next!

Now why would he think that there was no problem with this action?

The BBC reported very quietly in April that:
'A Nigerian senator accused of marrying a 13-year-old Egyptian girl says he has done nothing wrong.

Ahmad Sani Yerima, 49, told the BBC that his fourth wife was not 13, but would not say how old she was.

He denied breaking the law but said he would not respect any law that contradicted his religious beliefs.

The Nigerian senate ordered an investigation after complaints from women's groups but the senator said he did not care what the groups thought. '
It is interesting how the BBC lead with the Nigerian senator's defence when most other reports that I have read of this case start with the accusation before moving to the defence.

The BBC report does manage to allude to the reason why Senator Yerima thinks he is encouraged to do take a 13 year old bride:
'The senator said he had followed "standard rules for marriage in Islam".

"I don't care about the issue of age since I have not violated any rule as far as Islam is concerned," he said.

"History tells us that Prophet Muhammad did marry a young girl as well. Therefore I have not contravened any law. Even if she is 13, as it is being falsely peddled around.

"If I state the age, they will still use it to smear Islam," he said. '
And it would seem that Senator Yerima takes an odd position for a secular law maker:
'"As a Muslim, as I always say, I consider God's law and that of his prophet above any other law," Mr Sani said.

"I will not respect any law that contradicts that and whoever wants to sanction me for that is free to do that."'
and may, as they say, 'have previous:
'Newspaper reports have also accused the senator of having previously married a 15-year-old girl in 2006. '

So what is the historical precedence that is referred to? Well the very reason for the persistence of behaviour like the Senator's is that it is not a "supposed aspect of his religion," but an imitation of the Muslim prophet Muhammad - indeed a "beautiful pattern of conduct" see Qur'an 33:21.

Hiding the truth, BBC style

The BBC report that:
'At least 10 people have been killed in an attack on a mainly Christian village near the violence-hit Nigerian city of Jos, officials say.

Eyewitnesses said houses were burnt and villagers were cut down with machetes. State radio reported that the raiders were disguised as soldiers.

State government spokesman Dan Manjang said the attack happened in Riyom area.

Hundreds of people have died in communal violence between Muslim and Christian groups near Jos this year.

Although the clashes take place between Muslims and Christians, observers say the underlying causes are economic and political.'

So that's no indication of who attacked the 'mainly Christian village', no differential drawn between the numbers of Muslims and Christians killed and 'observers' quoted as saying that the causes are ' economic and political' and so not religious.

Contrast that with Yahoo News report (my emphasis):
'Attackers killed 12 people Wednesday morning in a small Christian village in central Nigeria, officials said, cutting out most of the victims' tongues in the latest violence in a region where religious fighting already has killed hundreds this year.

The attack almost mirrored the tactics used by those who carried out similar massacres in Christian villages last week when more than 200 people were slaughtered.

Under the cover of darkness and a driving rain, raiders with machetes entered the village of Byie early Wednesday, setting fire to homes and firing gunshots into the air to drive frightened villagers into the night, witness Linus Vwi said.

"It was raining. They took that advantage," Vwi said.

Vwi said he and about 20 neighbors rushed into the surrounding wilderness, cowering in bushes as they listened to screams.

He said the attackers spoke Fulani, a language used mostly by Muslim cattle herders in the region. Officials and witnesses blamed Fulani herders for the killings last week.

...

The latest killings add to the tally of thousands who already have perished in Africa's most populous country in the last decade over religious and political frictions. Rioting in September 2001 killed more than 1,000 people. Muslim-Christian battles killed up to 700 people in 2004. More than 300 residents died during a similar uprising in 2008.'

Two questions for the BBC:
1) Why so shy of explaining that is most likely Muslims to blame for these murders and why no mention of the mutilations?
2) Over 2,00 people have died in such battles in Nigeria in the last 10 years and yet this story will never feature as a headline news story, whilst the deaths of a far smaller number in 'Palestine' will always be headline news, why?

The tactics of Islam in Nigeria, and maybe elsewhere

'In his informative book Who Is This Allah? Nigerian Christian G.J.O. Moshay describes the tactics that Mohammed devised in the 7th Century, which Muslims are applying today to overthrow Christianity, p 25.

"Migrate to Christian areas because they are tolerant. Pretend to be peaceful, friendly and hospitable; begin to clamour for religious political and social rights and privileges that you will not allow to Christians in an Islamic country; breed fast there and settle down; there should be no Christian activities in your community; you may speak or write to discredit their religion, but they must not talk about Islam; begin to expand your community; Christian activities should be restricted in all the places you expand to; the moment you have enough military might against these ‘disbelievers’, these trinitarian kaferis, go ahead and eliminate them or suppress them as much as you can, and be in control."

Moshay concludes "Where immediate invasion is not possible, that has always been the policy."

I think Mr. Moshay's comments would have a resonance with UK residents.'

Death row comparisons

The BBC love to tell us how many people are on DEATH ROW in the US and how barbaric the practice of state sanctioned killing is. They seem less keen on covering stories such as this from Reuters: "LAGOS (Reuters) - Six people convicted by Islamic sharia courts in a northern Nigerian state are awaiting death by stoning, while 46 others are waiting for amputation, the official News Agency of Nigeria reported on Friday. The men on death row in Bauchi state include a 52-year-old sentenced in 2004 for getting his teenage step-daughter pregnant and another who was sentenced in 2002 for having sex 13 times with his friend's wife, the agency said. The report did not say how many people were facing such penalties in 11 other northern Nigerian states that have criminal courts using sharia law. Such data is not collated centrally...."

Death by stoning, that sounds pleasant - take a read of this earlier piece for a fuller flavour of this practice.

I went to Google and did a search on "death penalty", the first two and the fifth sites returned were US centric and are anti-the US carrying out such a penalty. So I went to Wikipedia for some bare figures.

In 2006, the last year that they have figures for, the US executed 53 people from a population of 303 million. Not a massive number and thankfully the US are the worst offenders, they must be because the BBC only criticise them. Of course you will not be surprised to learn that that is not the case.

The Sudan executed at least 65 people from a population of 39 million - a rate around 10 times higher.

Iraq executed at least 65 people from a population of 27 million - but that is almost entirely due to the US lead invasion, which was illegal and only about oil, Halliburton, Dick Chenie....... sorry I came over all BBC speak for a moment

Pakistan executed 82 people from a population of 162 million - that's more than twice the rate of the US.

Iran executed 177 from a population of 70 million - that's more than 12 times the rate of the US's.

Top of the heap is China who executed at least 1,010 people from a population of 1.321 billion - that's a rate almost five times that of the USA.

Strange how the BBC seem to concentrate on the US rather than China, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan or Sudan. One could almost believe they had an axe to grind...
